Hired Lifespan for a new addition. Initially felt it was going well but very quickly realized that…read morethe lead assigned to our project was a problem. Multiple errors were made including installing something upside down which caused a leak of propane and required us to evacuate our house so that an emergency crew could come fix it. Very little concern for keeping living areas clean during renovations, despite being asked repeatedly. Could hear the lead guy loudly complaining to another contractor about having to build bookshelves for our library (which was part of Lifespan's design). Now have discovered they installed HVAC using poor quality equipment that is failing and leaking refrigerant. They admit to the problem but will not fix unless we "consider" sharing the cost of repairs. Spent several hundred thousand dollars for very sloppy work. Would not recommend. Suggest you try All West - owner actually comes on site so the quality and care are ensured.

By the time I got the second quote back, the work was already finished by Lifespan. Most of the other companies didn't reply. Sean, Joe and Rob all helped out. They were friendly, courteous, professional, timely, and clean. Everything you'd want on your wishlist for contractors. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming and honestly I can't say enough positive things. This is a great company I'd trust to do anything from the smallest home repair up to building a custom house. Their web presence is great, they drive clean vehicles and everyone I've dealt with are all honestly good people.

Clearly communicated a date and time to come for an cost estimate, informed me well before their arrival at the site, sent a time estimate, and text me photos of the finished state. - transparent: they provided a written, itemized cost before beginning the work, and a written itemized bill. The job cost was $100 less than anticipated in the estimate. - helpful: they showed up on short notice, did a fantastic job, even offered to spread the beauty bark that I thought I'd have to take care of after. I can't recommend them enough. They really saved my weekend (and our security deposit!)

Initially I asked for a quote to do the section that was raised, he recommended the whole driveway be replaced because the cracks could grow and cause future damages. His price was reasonable but there was an issue with his bank charging him fees for using a card reader so he decided to only accept cash/Venmo. I followed up with him last Tuesday to confirm he was still doing the job and he says he was. I followed up last night to confirm his start time for Monday then he said "oh I thought you didn't want to proceed with the job, I'm booked out". This wasn't the first time there was poor communication in dealing with him.
