Having no idea what I truly needed, they could have easily oversold me on a rod, tackle, and bait, but they didn't. On my second stop in, I got the pleasure of speaking with the owner, whom, after 15 minutes chatting had laid out the framework for my day of successful fishing that laid ahead of me. Fast forward 12 hours, and I can't begin to explain how many fish myself and my fiancé just caught. With a $35 rod, and not even $25 worth of bait and tackle we pulled in dozens of whiting, ladyfish, and even some catfish and decent sized snook! Thank you to the owner and staff of Whitney's for making our vacation fishing truly exceptional. If you are thinking about stopping elsewhere, DON'T.
