Top notch ! Heat went out on a Friday and Jason was here in a few hours to check it out…read more He ran numerous test to determine the cause and determined that unfortunately the heater had died (13 years old or so) because of the heat exchanger. (Prior to Jason coming we had the people who originally installed the system come and check it out and they determined the same fault but we had the feeling we were being rushed into making a decision about replacing it) Everything was delivered on Monday morning by 8am and Brandon & Mat removed the old heater & AC and we had heat again by 3:30 pm. They did a fantastic job with no trace of the old system or work inside or outside the house being visible. Would not hesitate to call them in the future. Price-wise they were less than our first call.

Researching HVAC companies is always done with trepidation and hesitancy for me, because I am…read moreconcerned about the prevalence of individuals' horror stories and the price gouging that is so frequent today. Thankfully, I pursued my search and contacted Out Of a Jam. I've read their reviews, noted the authentic and upbeat tone of their customers, and, most importantly, how the company found the time to interact and respond to its clients. This winter, I'm currently pregnant, and I have four other children; therefore, tackling my heating issue for the comfort of my family took precedence over everything else this week. It was clear within seven minutes of meeting Jason that he was knowledgeable and skilled at his craft. He asked questions, was receptive to my responses, assessed the issue, and promptly began work. There is immense comfort in knowing your HVAC company can assuage your anxiety by communicating with you and making it quite clear that they are here to help, not sell you something you don't need. Jason was extremely personable and educated my husband and me on the coverage under our manufacturing warranty. He was quite meticulous in explaining what was working within our heating system and identifying the culprit behind the problem.  Professionalism and communication are the epitome of a successful business. Period. I appreciate Jason being punctual, respectful, and humorous. I know without a doubt that he is integral to the company's success. Out Of a Jam now has lasting customers, and my husband and I look forward to working with them when it's time to install our new cooling system. I could not recommend them enough.

My name is Bill M. I have been the building manager and v/p of marketing/sales for Ultrasound…read moreServices, Inc.,for 28 years. Our physical building is a shared partnership between four partners. We are located at 27 Blacksmith Rd. Newtown, Pa. My job responsibilities are vast, but mainly being responsible to the partnership with ANY & ALL issues relating to our 40,000 +/- sq ft building. The sole reason for writing this post: The internet! I needed an experienced electrician to install and wire the burglar/fire alarms, video surveillance,non-functioning intercoms fixed and a complete back-up generator system for our building. I always report to the partners and take full responsibility for getting the best price and workmanship, so of course, i was seeking multiple bids. Because of the size and nature of complexity of this project, I went to the internet looking for positive contractor feedback; yellow pages, Angies list, etc..I came across another site called "Yelp". There was comment about one of my bidding contractors, Dave Funk. Dave is from Newtown electronics. He is a local guy and I heard great things about his business and his integrity. I have worked with so many contractors in my life for commercial and residential projects so I knew what to look for and what I wanted. When Dave came out to the job site to quote me a bid, I asked about the post on "yelp". He explained EVERYTHING to me. Lets just say, he got the job. This project was difficult and complex, as there were so many different issues that needed to be dealt with, yet when the smoke cleared, everything was finished to perfection. Dave is probably hands down the most skilled, professional contractor I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. He kept in constant contact, explained all the issues (so I could understand) throughout the entire project and made me look like a hero to the partnership and was the lowest bid. If you are considering a professional, cheap, honest and experienced electrician, call Dave Funk at Newtown electronics. This is the first (and probably the last) time I will ever write about someone in my life on a posting site, but after reading "yelp" and then hiring and working with Dave, I wanted to write this. Dave Funk is truly the best contractor across the board I have ever worked with in my entire life. It's great to have a site like "yelp" so people can easily find a reputable contractor or not!

But yeah, our water heater decided to implode at 5 pm today, leaving us without hot water. With kids to wash, dishes to do and laundry to run, this was not good news. Companies that I called at 5pm still hadn't returned my calls just as Lucas was wrapping up. Pricing wasnt cheap, but it was fair, and the speed at which they did everything was impressive.
