His team is a well-oiled machine, extremely professional, very courteous and considerate. I felt completely comfortable with his team working on my home and around my family. I live in an 1850's updated farmhouse outside of Newburyport, MA. I hired mike initially in 2023 to replace a large wooden gutter and freeze board on my home. I'm particular and wanted to make sure we kept the new work in keeping with the character and of our home. Mike and team nailed it. I hired Mike again in September of 2026 replace all the wooden trim around the windows in the back of our house with PVC. I hesitated to touch one window trim because it had a very lovely, original molding. All the other windows in the back were replaced with plain, flat stock by the gentleman who renovated the home prior to our purchase. To my surprise and delight Mike and his supervisor Odie took it upon themselves and chose to replicate the original molding from the window mentioned, on all of the windows surrounds they replace! There was no up-selling just a very thoughtful, generous value add. Now the back of our home looks exponentially better thanks to Mike and team. They will continue to be our go-to contractors as we update our home's exterior and roofing. I highly recommend Meadow's Construction.

They were doing a job for my neighbor and decided to treat my house and yard like a dumping ground. Blocked my mailbox, parked in front of fire hydrant, left black tar all over street front of my house (not the one they were hired for) While I was talking to my wife, some clown sitting in his truck, decided to open his door and start yapping at me about who owns the road ?? I was talking to wife about her work and that guy decided to make an assumption that was 100% incorrect. I had asked another of the guys earlier to just be careful near my yard and that conversation was fine. He was a nice guy and I even brought them over a couple powerades after. Why the other guy decided to be a jerk and create a problem when one didn't exist is beyond me. Then a boss or possibly an owner of EJ Paving, old guy with white hair, shows up with a Methuen PD officer in his EJ work vehicle trying to make me move my car ?? Not sure how that works ?? It must be nice to get that kind of service from police ( who didn't seem to care very much that they were parked directly in front of a fire Hydrant ). I need my driveway done but I will NEVER use EJ Paving and I dont have a single nice thing to say about whoever runs things. Still am really confused as to why the officer is riding around with EJ Paving and acting as hired intimidation though ?? Out of fairness ill say again that my review isn't related to the paving but it IS related to the total lack of professionalism or respect of property surrounding job site. I'm sure they don't care about reviews based on how 2 of the 3 people chose to handle something they created. If I have an issue with something, or someone, I am very capable of handling it like an adult, EJ may want to give it a try given the bad rep they already have. finally, I will say this about the work they do, if you want to see the quality of the work EJ Paving is capable of- take a drive around Archibald Ave and that'll tell you a lot. I wouldn't hire them !!! The pics show the dosrect to property

They put on a brand new roof in May 2025. By September 2025 that new roof is leaking in a different spot that has sustained no damage, weather or other. After calling them back they sent someone out to put some caulking material in the area which did nothing, It leaked the very next time it rained. They then told me if I wanted a long term solution I would need to replace the HVAC flue; the same HVAC flue that has been on the home for over 60 years. At no point during the pre-quote inspection, during the quote presentation, while working on the roof, or while collecting payment in full did anyone from Precision Roofing disclose that this was an obstacle that they could not completely seal off. Telling me this after I discovered the new roof leaking is ridiculous. Maybe it's something else, but to me it feels like you either took a job you couldn't complete or did poor work and are making excuses afterwards.
