The main qualities that I'm looking for in a provider are (1) competitive rates, (2) speed and (3) follow-through. The Citywide Financial team excels in all three dimensions. Much to my wife's dismay, I'm the type of consumer who spends hours exploring a plethora of options to secure the best deal possible. After working with Michael a few times, I now know that I can go straight to him to get the best rate, and I can the spend the hours saved at the beach surfing. I was honestly blown away recently by how much he beat the pricing of the other lenders and brokers that I had been talking to. The lower rate that Michael provided - without requiring me to pay additional points or hidden closing costs - will save me more than $30K over the life of the loan. Even after we had locked in our rate, when rates dipped Michael was able to negotiate a further reduced rate to save us additional money! We had been looking for the perfect first home for a over a year! In this market it is very difficult to buy something in our lower price range. We found Michael and it was the best thing that ever happened to us. I researched many loan companies including credit unions, USAA, and highly yelp rated mortgage brokers.
