Absolutely unacceptable experience. I'm beyond frustrated with this urgent care. I went in for…read moretests, which they had no problem billing my insurance for, but they never sent me my results. Not a call, not an email--nothing. I waited days thinking they'd reach out, only to finally call myself and practically beg someone to give me the information I should've received automatically. What kind of medical office fails to follow through with something as basic and essential as test results? If you care at all about your health, your time, or basic communication, do not go here. It's completely irresponsible and unprofessional. I expected care, not negligence. Absolutely disappointed.

I just left the Parcare on Bay Parkway. An inept PA named SUKHRAJ GOPAL came into the examining…read moreroom and was extremely condescending towards me. I was there very worried about a possible condition and he came in saying that I've come there several times and my results are always negative. Then he said, "This isn't a primary care place." I told him I knew where I was and actually couldn't believe how much he lacks basic people skills. I got up because of his asinine behavior and as I left he said loudly, "You have a good night!" He's extremely obnoxious and unprofessional. I've come to see Drs Duong and Hillel who have all been caring and professional. This guy is immature and incompetent and has no business being in the medical field. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Because of him, I didn't get to do the blood work I came in for. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION IF THIS CHILD IS THERE.

I called the office at Coney Island and Newkirk, and they gave me an early appointment. When I arrived, they couldn't have been more gracious. I'm now on Day 5 of the meds and feel a good bit better. I liked this place.

I went in with flu-like symptoms and severe abdominal pain, bloating, and…read morevomiting, and Dr. Dharmasena diagnosed me with a UTI, ignoring that the liver enzyme levels in my urine test were twice above the normal range, and that my skin was also turning dark yellow. He prescribed me 10 days of antibiotics, and at 5 days my abdomen was still swollen, my skin was still yellow, and I was experiencing intense itching all over my body, so I called the aftercare line to inquire whether I should come back in; I was dismissively told to discontinue the antibiotics and take Benadryl (which I'd already explained hadn't helped the previous night when the itching started), and that I'd have to go in and see another doctor if I wanted to speak to a clinician for a second opinion. At that second appointment, Dr. Strochkov took one look at me and said, "You have jaundice and your liver is swollen, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NOW." I did, and they admitted me immediately - I had hepatitis A. Thank you to Dr. Strochkov for catching this and a very hearty f*** you to everyone else employed at this practice.

When I called and spoke to Raul about my bill, he threatened to send me to collections, even after I explained that they had failed to bill my insurance, who told me that I only owed a $15 copay. I STRONGLY recommend not visiting this location, as they don't understand the concept of insurance or how to bill it. I've been going to this location for a while, first for COVID testing, then for the odd "I need…read morecare right away" visit. Since they started doing all their check-in online, I've had a worse time. I went in on a Sunday morning with major leg pain, and because I hadn't scheduled an appointment (the first appointment was about an hour after I would have gotten there, and I didn't want to take a chance of waiting for a long time), I had to do a check-in entirely on my phone. They should have had me in their system, but I had to submit everything as if I was a first-time patient. We're talking 8-10 on the pain scale, and I'm trying to take a readable picture of my insurance card. If I didn't do that, I would have had to shell out $225 via the phone and hope I got reimbursed, even though there was an "option" to go to the receptionist (who was 15 feet away) to set that up. AND when you're done, they have the gall to ask "thumbs up or thumbs down" and you can't skip that step. That day, the front desk seemed very rude, or at least aloof, but again, I was in a LOT of pain - I wasn't paying that much attention. The doctor and staff were amazing - no notes there! If you can, book a time! Get all that paperwork out of the way ahead of time so that you're not sitting there crying because you can't get everything done on a tiny screen...

This place like any other CityMD has doctors who clearly got their degrees off Temu. I even spoke…read moreto someone from patient relations about my unpleasant experience and as expected, their higher up never returned the phone call to me. My mom fell and she was in a LOT of pain in her arm. They took X-rays. The doctor scared her after that by saying that she dislocated her entire arm and HAD to go to the emergency room because she would need emergency surgery. My mom has extreme health anxiety. I had to leave my job and drive all the way from Long Island because emergency orthopedic surgery is serious of course. She gets to the ER at Lutheran and they tell her that her arm is just fractured... that's also after X-ray and a CT Scan. What a HORRIBLE misdiagnosis by the doctor at CityMD. How can you read an xray and not even know the difference between a fracture and dislocation???? I'm not even a medical professional and I'm sure I could tell the difference! I'm tired of the countless mosdiagnosis by these CityMD's but this one was my last straw! And their corporate is absolutely useless! I called an filed a complaint and I never received a call back. It's been 3 WEEKS! AVOID AVOID AVOID. These urgent cares have no fucking clue about anything!
