This guy is immature and incompetent and has no business being in the medical field. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He prescribed me 10 days of antibiotics, and at 5 days my abdomen was still swollen, my skin was still yellow, and I was experiencing intense itching all over my body, so I called the aftercare line to inquire whether I should come back in; I was dismissively told to discontinue the antibiotics and take Benadryl (which I'd already explained hadn't helped the previous night when the itching started), and that I'd have to go in and see another doctor if I wanted to speak to a clinician for a second opinion. At that second appointment, Dr. Strochkov took one look at me and said, "You have jaundice and your liver is swollen, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NOW." She was equally as brilliant as the doctor. Mind you.... this is the middle of a global viral pandemic, and this is the place where sick people go. Great with kids. You check in with one of the two stations. I've been here a few times now, and the wait time is never too bad. More often than not, i go in within 8 minutes. My ONE COMPLAINT is that the staff is not enforcing a mask rule. When people come in, they're walking in with their noses and sometimes even their mouths uncovered. And, sure as heck, if there's one place where you'll find people infected with COVID-19, it's this place. By definition! The staff REALLY needs to do periodic walk-throughs in the waiting room to ensure that everyone is wearing a mask, AND WEARING IT CORRECTLY. You'd think that New Yorkers would be smart enough to wear a mask. I'm still giving this place 5 stars, but if I see so many people not wearing masks correctly, I'll be forced to make a complaint with their managers.

I've been going to this location for a while, first for COVID testing, then for the odd "I need…read morecare right away" visit. Since they started doing all their check-in online, I've had a worse time. I went in on a Sunday morning with major leg pain, and because I hadn't scheduled an appointment (the first appointment was about an hour after I would have gotten there, and I didn't want to take a chance of waiting for a long time), I had to do a check-in entirely on my phone. They should have had me in their system, but I had to submit everything as if I was a first-time patient. We're talking 8-10 on the pain scale, and I'm trying to take a readable picture of my insurance card. If I didn't do that, I would have had to shell out $225 via the phone and hope I got reimbursed, even though there was an "option" to go to the receptionist (who was 15 feet away) to set that up. AND when you're done, they have the gall to ask "thumbs up or thumbs down" and you can't skip that step. That day, the front desk seemed very rude, or at least aloof, but again, I was in a LOT of pain - I wasn't paying that much attention. The doctor and staff were amazing - no notes there! If you can, book a time! Get all that paperwork out of the way ahead of time so that you're not sitting there crying because you can't get everything done on a tiny screen...

My mom fell and she was in a LOT of pain in her arm. They took X-rays. The doctor scared her after that by saying that she dislocated her entire arm and HAD to go to the emergency room because she would need emergency surgery. My mom has extreme health anxiety. I had to leave my job and drive all the way from Long Island because emergency orthopedic surgery is serious of course. She gets to the ER at Lutheran and they tell her that her arm is just fractured... that's also after X-ray and a CT Scan. What a HORRIBLE misdiagnosis by the doctor at CityMD. How can you read an xray and not even know the difference between a fracture and dislocation???? I'm not even a medical professional and I'm sure I could tell the difference! I'm tired of the countless mosdiagnosis by these CityMD's but this one was my last straw! And their corporate is absolutely useless! I called an filed a complaint and I never received a call back.
