Good playground equipment that includes a playscape for younger toddlers. No canopy though so scorching on a hot day. That being said, there are shady areas in the park (saw a few families having picnics). The adjacent creek is nice. There's a little trail alongside it. Turn left (from playground) and you can see the famous Round Rock (just under the bridge). Turn right and you pass a war memorial and soon make it to the spiral (a spiral walking ramp that apparently offers nice views of the creek). It was super hot so we skipped the spiral. The thing that bothered me about this park -- there are lots of blank rusted signs. Were they ever in use or were they never completed? I was just confused by their presence. On top of that, I would have liked to see some actual signs. There were a few by the entrance of the park noting the location of the Round Rock, spiral, etc. But if entering the trail from the playground, you don't see any of this info. There's no sign by the Round Rock about its history and no sign by the tree sculpture by the spiral (at least credit the artist). Large parking area.

I like this little park that's tucked away behind an apartment building…read more First of all, it's got a main playground as well as several smaller playscapes scattered throughout. This is nice if there happen to be lots of kids in the main play area or older kids playing rough, etc. You can always migrate to a different play area. However, I've never seen this place crowded. If you have younger kids that are too small for the play equipment, this park also offers ample green space to just run around. There is a short trail that circles the park and a little pond overlook where you can watch the turtles/fish. You can fish here. There are bathrooms and water fountains here. Ample trash cans and benches as well. There is even a "little free library" by the main playground. You can reserve the picnic pavilion for gatherings. Parking lot is pretty small but I've always been able to snag a spot.

The course plays west, up stream and circles back around, all on the south side of the river. It is a nice place to walk, let the kids play, and let the plastic fly.

It has a full playground with swings, a tennis court, swimming pool, (I think you need passes for the pool and tennis court), volleyball court, basketball court, picnic tables, and even a paved walkway that wraps around the park. There is plenty of open grassy space to run around, throw a frisbee. It's also dog-friendly with poop bags and a drinking fountain. The parking lot is a decent size although I could see it getting filled up very quickly for an event. Speaking of, this is also where they hosted this past "Hairy Man festival."

TLDR: Surprisingly spacious park with a playground with limited range (not ideal for really young…read morekids). Small canopies provide some shade. First of all, it appears the playground has been redone. There are photos here from a few years ago -- looks completely different now. In most cases, these are clear upgrades but I'm not so sure here. The old playground looks pretty nice -- with more equipment for younger toddlers. Why they chose to redo it is a mystery. The current playground equipment is decent with some nice climbing options. It's a little awkward for grown-ups to access (when accompanying really small toddlers who can fall off) since the steps can only be reached via tunnel. So if your young toddler climbs up, you either have to go through the tunnel or climb up some of the ladders. Not a huge deal although if you're an elderly caretaker, take note. The playground does have two small canopies that offer partial shade. One of the biggest deficiencies is the swings. Only two belt swings for older kids. No bucket swings for younger toddlers or babies. Oddly, the pics of the old playground show baby swings -- why did they get rid of them? Weird. There's quite a bit of space like I previously mentioned but I'm not sure if it's being utilized well. There's a small gazebo but it seems a bit pointless. There's nothing in it (no seating) so it looks like a bus stop. I wish they made it into more of a pavilion with benches (there's space). Ultimately, a decent park especially since Georgetown is a bit lacking in playgrounds (when compared to Round Rock especially).

The only good thing about it is the fact that it is linked up with other trails. This stretch of land is named after the HOA that maintains it. There's really not much to see, but it is a good hike and bike path. The one thing that Pflugerville does well is integrating their path ways, and park land.

They added an additional larger play structure over the summer, but there's no signs in the neighborhood and there is no paved path at the park to lead you to it. It is extremely far away from the street. There is also no parking lot so you will have to park in the dirt along Madrid Dr in order to not have your car hit - especially with the heavy traffic on that street during morning commutes, afternoon school pickup (McCoy Elementary is nearby), and evening work rush. There is also no bathroom, water fountain, or bbq grill. Anyway, at a minimum there should be a sign showing that it's a park/playground. Hopefully this review will help others so we can get some kids here!

The park looks pretty sad overall but has a ton of potential to be further developed into something great. There's a trail that it well paved- -I haven't made it far enough to say whether it's good but the part u did walk through had good shade and seemed nice on a hot day. I hope Pflugerville invests some tax dollars into planning and expanding the amenities for this park. It has a lot of potential and would really be such a great family friendly park for the community.
