There's a couple of playscapes, there plenty of room for walks, biking, and walking your dogs. There's also stream with a path through the nearby woods. My kids love playing hide n seek and tag here. They have have a couple of swing sets here as well. The bathrooms are also dealing well kept. I definitely recommend this park for your kids and running or walking your pets. It's not the best park if you want to have a large gathering and barbecue. There aren't any barbecue pits or covered area for large groups to sit and eat. There's plenty of parking. Definitely check out this park if you're in the neighborhood!

The playscapes have a little bit of that military industrial complex feeling to it because why are kids able to do photo stand-ins of services members? Does that not feel like a touch of mockery to our brave men and women in the armed forces? Maybe I should grow a pair. They thought of all the ways that would make it fun for a kid, and convenient for a parent. The play structure isn't your typical one, with a more obstacle-like feel, perfect for older kids. The swings were a hit for my toddler and my tweens, with them being so high off the ground. And the splash pad was so fun for all of them, with its variety of pour outs. We'll be back, with friends.

This is a decent sized park that has a lot going for it. Here you will also find some fairly clean and decent public restrooms and there is a gravel trail around the perimeter which leads to other trails in the area. Next to the pool, you'll find a very nice basketball court and on the opposite side you'll find the Heritage House Museum. This park has very ample parking with numerous handicap spots. Currently, it should be mentioned that from 3 to 6 PM on Tuesdays, you'll find a small farmers market gathered in the red barn at the rear of the park. One odd item that is also at the rear of the park is a very large old piece of farming equipment rusting into the ground. Plenty of photos included to add more insight.

My nephew was extremely excited!!I noticed that everything was thoroughly thought out. The entrance gate is slightly heavy (two to pass through. Other area were the same (heavy gates to prevent kids from entering the paved areas without permission & help. There were several areas to play: sensory areas, sand box (large), agility, strength training for the littles, and a cute township area where kids can ride (provided mini bikes) bikes or scooters in the "city". The imagination stations were adorable. Most areas were covered well. They had several restrooms and water stations. Seating for birthdays and such. I didn't have time to take pictures. But it's true to the website. I highly recommend it!

There is also a small incline that works well for some light hills practice. There is plenty of parking, bathrooms, picnic seating under a pavilion, a basketball court, a water fountain, spots for fishing, and it sits inside a nice neighborhood. I enjoy coming here for simple runs both in the morning and afternoons. There's not lighting to make it worthwhile to visit at night.. Sometimes people will bring their dogs off leash and let them roam around, so be careful of that, but for the most part people are very respectful and courteous of each other on the loop. This park is the perfect drop off point which can link you to additional trails in the area for hiking and biking. It's other advantages consist of about a dozen parking spaces, a public bathroom, water fountain, covered playscape with swings and a circular gravel trail to walk laps on. Nearby is an additional area to practice your skateboard tricks. These trails run directly next to Gilliland Creek, which means during a period of torrential rains, the trails may actually be closed off. Good spot to bring the kids, dog or a bike.

It's ducked off in a neighborhood off grand avenue/ wells branch area…read more Perfect place for a walk, a jog, or to just come chill & clear your mind. semi shaded area with plenty of trees through out. there were wild flowers, ponds with people fishing, swings, restrooms, basket ball courts, small stair cases, a play scape , picnic tables ,& plenty of open space. parking is the only down fall as the designated lot holds about 10 or so cars. definitely enjoyed my time here and can't wait to come back.
