There are pavilions available and plenty of areas to sit down. The parking are was really good. There are several jungle gyms for the kiddos. The walking trail is well kept and free or holes or anything that will cause you to fall. I saw wildlife along the way. People were fishing, eating, walking, playing games, and just enjoying life. My nephew was extremely excited!!I noticed that everything was thoroughly thought out. The entrance gate is slightly heavy (two to pass through. Other area were the same (heavy gates to prevent kids from entering the paved areas without permission & help. There were several areas to play: sensory areas, sand box (large), agility, strength training for the littles, and a cute township area where kids can ride (provided mini bikes) bikes or scooters in the "city". The imagination stations were adorable. Most areas were covered well. They had several restrooms and water stations. Seating for birthdays and such. I didn't have time to take pictures. But it's true to the website. I highly recommend it!

We went to this park for my grandson's birthday. It is in Round Rock Texas. It is a safe place to…read morebring your children to play. There is a fence completely surrounding the park and there is a gate to go in and out of which has the handles high enough that a child could not open that gate. There was a lot of thought put into this park. They have wonderful learning areas such as they have an area all about music; This was definitely a favorite place. There are chimes to sound and drums to play, The children really enjoyed this area. They had a zip line made for children. My four-year-old granddaughter was enjoying it and after her, some 13-year-olds were enjoying it. It's very well-made, very safe and very fun. They have a shopping area for them to pretend -- along with their own personal H-E-B! My granddaughter really enjoyed pretending to shop. I think that's a secret word here, there's a lot of pretending going on here! I highly recommend this park. It's important to know that animals are not allowed unless it's a service animal. There's a lot of kids running and yelling and playing and laughing. This is not the place for you if you're going to a park to read a book. This is definitely a great place for children or for parents to play with their children. I highly recommend you visit.

Good playground equipment that includes a playscape for younger toddlers. No canopy though so scorching on a hot day. That being said, there are shady areas in the park (saw a few families having picnics). The adjacent creek is nice. There's a little trail alongside it. Turn left (from playground) and you can see the famous Round Rock (just under the bridge). Turn right and you pass a war memorial and soon make it to the spiral (a spiral walking ramp that apparently offers nice views of the creek). It was super hot so we skipped the spiral. The thing that bothered me about this park -- there are lots of blank rusted signs. Were they ever in use or were they never completed? I was just confused by their presence. On top of that, I would have liked to see some actual signs. There were a few by the entrance of the park noting the location of the Round Rock, spiral, etc. But if entering the trail from the playground, you don't see any of this info. There's no sign by the Round Rock about its history and no sign by the tree sculpture by the spiral (at least credit the artist). Large parking area.

The trail is nice and paved, the playground looks pretty expansive, and the absolute views and nature on display here makes me feel very lucky to witness it. We visited over the weekend for the grand reopening of Joanne Land Playground and it is truly…read moreamazing. It has so many wonderful obstacles and slides for the children to enjoy. I don't want to upload pics due to children are present but please go check it out because you won't be disappointed. The main stage is nice and there is a pavilion for you to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere while reading a book or just taking a moment to chill. I always enjoy coming here to cycle or walk but really appreciate the playground upgrade for the children.

All gave some…read more A quite little neighborhood park with a pavilion for large groups, a connection to Brushy Creek, plenty of military-related playscapes for kids, and most importantly, a SHADED BASKETBALL COURT. The playscapes have a little bit of that military industrial complex feeling to it because why are kids able to do photo stand-ins of services members? Does that not feel like a touch of mockery to our brave men and women in the armed forces? Maybe I should grow a pair. Large trees, waterfall, birds (ducks and we were lucky enough to see a beautiful egret). Cool 4-person see saw. Ample parking on the street and inside the parking lot. Also, good opportunity to talk to kids about respect for veterans.
