21-hour smoked brisket, yes please!…read more Now, I might be new here, but I know what I like. I walked in the room and the aroma made my whole body tense up in anticipation. I was practically gnawing at the air on my way in. I admit a quick small squeal squeaked out as I approached the steaming meats selection. I asked for "just a bit, please" and was encouraged to try the whiskey sauce. I did drizzle that on there! When I settled in my seat I picked around my other treats first, so as to save what I hoped was the best for last. The brisket. My first bite caused my eyes to shoot wide open, just so flavorful and warm how it comes! Second bite, with sauce. I took a slightly larger bite than before. I knew what was coming! But that sauce, I was not expecting! A kick of flavor I've never witnessed before... I was clawing my way towards my third bite! I did manage to savor this one a little longer, really hitting my stride for the meal. It was then my mother informed me "Food before one is just for fun!" as she finished the rest for herself, offering me a slice of bell pepper to gum on in place of that delicious meat. I was displeased greatly. I'll be hoping mom remembers this brisket in 7 months when I'm old enough to eat a whole plate without her claiming its unnecessary! - Juniper, 5 months old

We planned on 50 people and she provided enough food to feed all of the personnel at JBLM. OK, that may be a slight exaggeration but there was sooooooo much food no one went hungry and there was plenty for people to take leftovers home. My wife and I are mexican food connoisseurs and I'm telling you, Cindy's taco bar with all the fixins was some of the best we've ever had. In addition to the amazing food, Cindy's set up and clean up were also amazing. We didn't do anything except enjoy the party! Thank you so very much Cindy!!!

Very disappointing and do not recommend for your wedding. We paid for a tasting and discussed…read moreoptions with Chris in person. For their package where you pick 3 meats we suggested picking 2 and having a vegetarian option instead for the third. He said no this isnt necessarily, pick the three meats and he will throw a couple portabella mushrooms on the grill for the few vegetarians. He said to include them in the final count and email him before the event with the number of vegetarians and to let the vegetarians know to request them from the servers, as if they put them out on the buffet everyone will eat them. We did this and he responded to the email with the final invoice which we paid before the event. Day of the wedding we find out at the end of the meal our vegetarians asked about the mushrooms and they were told it wasn't on the invoice and we never paid for it. Absolutely embarrassing and extremely unprofessional. Now our guests think we didn't do anything for them and it was our mistake. We did pay for them and was told they'd have mushrooms instead. Reached out to voice my disappointment vs going to a review and his response was my cordinator should have noticed it wasn't on the invoice (i told her this is how he wanted it done and that's why they weren't there) and he also mentioned the food that was there turned out good as if that was supposed to fix everything. They are too busy opening up their new restaurant and don't care about you. Don't trust them for your big event!

Shelly and the team at Masonry exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding catering. When…read moreplanning the wedding, we were very stressed by the cost of everything. Shelly offered to call me and talk things through, offering creative ways for us to be able to save on spending; paying in cash to reduce card fees, reducing staff by using disposable plates, moving to one protein, etc. We didn't end up needing to do most of these things, but regardless, she indicated she was on our team and would do whatever she could to help us. She was beyond patient with me and kind the whole way through as I went back and forth on what to do. I had endless questions for weeks before booking. On wedding day, everything went off without a hitch. Her team showed up in professional attire, were kind, respectful, and prompt. They were so sweet and kept telling us how beautiful everything was and how grateful they were to be there. The food was SO GOOD. So good in fact we put the leftover scalloped potatoes, prime rib, and artichoke chicken straight in the freezer on wedding night and are just about to run out. It is still just as good now reheated in the oven! And the desserts went QUICK. If I could change anything, I would have ordered extra. We have too many sweet lovers in the family!

Food is just as good as when they were in Yelm. They have a few of their yummy desserts but still waiting on the military's approval to make and sell there famous sourdough bread rounds. Service was great and the facility is really nice. It's open to the public. There is plenty of seating, a fireplace, roll up doors for the summer with outdoor seating and even a golf simulator.
