Started mattress shopping and after doing my research online, our first stop was City Mattress in Jensen Beach. Store was nice and neat with plenty of mattresses expertly displayed. My wife and I started looking around and were greeted by Robert S. I told him we were looking for a hybrid mattress with latex foam. He showed us the Pranasleep Karma Elite which we immediately liked. Robert was a wealth of "Mattress Knowledge " and answered every one of our questions. We didn't buy on the spot as I never make large purchases on impulse. Wife and I got home and I had a couple more questions so I sent Robert an email. Received a prompt response (2nd test passed). Im taking this Opportunity to recogonize the outstanding experience my wife and I recevied in selecting our new mattress at City Mattress. Starting with the selling process we were very impressed with Jordan Greene our sales consultant at the Jensen Beach Store location. Jordan was very organized and detailed in helping us with the selecton process. He was extremely knowledgable about the various product lines at the store and the mattress industry. He explained the differences in the mattress construction among the various mattress makers, helped us in the selection process and the process of ellimnation in our selection based on our comfort needs in a mattress. The final choice was the Aireloom Aire-Streamline mattress. He also gave us a good pricepoint with the Labor day sales promotions and therefore came within our budget. He was very thorough in the store policy which was very reasonable. I told my wife he is a "Mattress Nerd" if there ever was one. He was patient, polite, and easy to talk to. Jordan's work ethic will take him far. Our mattress was delivered today and the delivery team was very professional, did an excellent job in removing our old mattress and setting up the new one. The team arrived ahead of schedule which worked out great for us. They cleaned up the packing materials and made the whole proccess seamless. I think these guys can setup a mattress and adjustable bed frame in their sleep. Congratulations for assembling a true customer orientated outfit that has truly puts the customer first! That is not always easy to do.We been to other mattress stores in our search but nothing compares to City Mattress with respect to the overall Customer Service. Great store for Purchasing bedding including mattresses and bedframe's and headboards. The staff is very knowledgeable about all lines of bedding uncluttered newest products in the market. There was no pressure from the salesperson. We explained to her what we needed and she pointed us in the right direction at all price levels. She answered all our questions and provided a solution to our needs. Her name is Theresa Brady and anytime in the future we need to make additional purchases at City Mattress, we will go directly to her. She was patient, courteous , and professional. We had an issue in getting finance for the purchase. She helped us through the financing process with both the bank and credit agency and got things done swiftly. After shopping all the other mattress stores we decided on City Mattress. Don't let the TV commercials scare you away. The folks in the store are not condescending like he is. They're very nice! Although they claim to have prices 10-20% below market prices there are some other reasons to shop at City Mattress. They are friendly and very knowledgeable about what they sell and how to best help you find what you need. The salesman was very patient with my elderly parents and that speaks volumes. If you're looking for a good night's sleep I'd try City Mattress. read more

A year ago my wife and I purchased a mattress and an electric base. Due to physical disabilities with my wife brought on by breast cancer - she was uncomfortable with the mattress. However, we were outside the 100 day exchange. Theresa went out of her way to work something out for us. Instead of getting rid of an expensive investment, we were able to pay a fee for a mattress exchange even though we were well outside the policy parameters. Fortunately, my wife now is able to relax on the mattress that we got while still enjoying the existing adjustable base. Thank you! read more

We purchased a very expensive PranaSleep mattress from City Mattress. The salesman assured us that it would retain its shape and not get body depressions. Less than 6 months after purchasing it, it was already showing signs of depressions with a hump in the middle. So, they sent a service person to our house to "test" the depressions. After this, I was informed that "yes" there were depressions, but they were not deep enough to warrant them doing anything about it. We waited a few more months and now the bed is like sleeping in a half pipe. We decided to visit the store again in an attempt to resolve the problem. The salesman in the store basically said "what do you want me to do about it?" Their solution is to send out the guy that measures the depressions again. Total BS as far as I'm concerned. So now I have to take time out of my schedule again to wait for their so call service person. We have pictures showing the deep canyons in the bed, yet they will do nothing about it. Their owner is on TV every five minutes touting how great their service is.....well i totally disagree. Mattress stores are a dime a dozen....do yourself a favor and find one that actually cares about their customers. read more

We are VERY disappointed with City Mattress. The customer service was disgraceful and rude. A mattress is a decent investment and you want to make sure you are dealing with classy, honest businesses. I was very surprised at our disaster of an encounter. They do not honor their prices and do not stand behind their product. I thought that Mark Schiller being a local resident with ties to the community would treat his neighbors better, if you can't trust your neighbor who can you trust? Please take caution when dealing with this company. i do not take the time to post unless I really want to help someone not be in my same position. There are plenty of mattress stores to choose from so go somewhere respectable and be treated fairly for your hard earned money. read more

This review will cover sales, delivery, and resolution of a minor issue. SALES: I thought buying a mattress was going to take considerably more time, considering all of the choices, and the inability to compare models, due to different retailers having different names for the same product. I did my homework, online, first, and I knew I wanted to start with City Mattress. There was no reason to go anywhere else. In contrast to another reviewer (who also had a great experience, but thought the TV commercials were condescending), I actually started with City Mattress because of Marc Schiller, and the TV ads. I was greeted by the Store Manager, Stuart Rheinghold, who was also my salesperson. He was genuinely friendly, not just salesy-friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained every detail, in an effort to help me decide between 2, in my price range. My budget was small, and he treated me as if I were purchasing the most expensive bed on the floor! DELIVERY/RESOLUTION: My 2 delivery gentleman, John L. & Jeff B., could not have been more courteous, proficient and professional. As one of the gentlemen was unloading the mattress from the truck, he noticed some sort of marks on the mattress top. I went outside to look at the mattress, and they recommended that I call the store, and decide if I was going to accept delivery. I spoke with Kelly Tucker, who was extremely kind, and very professional. She immediately offered me several options. I took delivery...I love my bed...and Kelly has since followed-up with me, to finalize a very fair resolution! One more thing about my delivery dudes...It was a rainy, muddy day, and they saw that I had a placed a few towels in my foyer area, and without any prompting, they took great care to not track any mud in the house! SUMMARY: There is a LOT of competition in the mattress industry - and while I have nothing negative to say about the other retailers out there (I have purchased many beds on the Treasure Coast), I have never had an experience meaningful enough to write a review on.
