Gutters were in poor shape, downspouts inadequate, lots of leaves from nearby trees...the works. All told, he gives a quote to replace three sections, get the downspouts flowing away from the house, and clean/install leaf guards on all. Call in to put down a deposit but I can't get on the schedule for a few weeks. Fast forward to the day of. The crew leader shows me a drawing he was provided of the house and is basically asking me to confirm the work/spots he has. I have a good idea of it, but doesn't make me feel comfortable. In the end, he asks if they can come back tomorrow because they don't have the right ladder for the taller back of the house. I say fine. The next day, it's raining early (app't at 9). I assume they aren't coming right then but still had to call in to confirm - still coming but pushed back to 11. Jennifer also tells me they could have come back for the ladder and done the job yesterday but it wasn't presented to me as an option. 11 comes...11:30...12...after speaking to a backup phone person who was rude to me, I finally get ahold of Jennifer again. She's extremely apologetic for both the delay and the other person who answered the phone. Once the workers arrived, they got right down to it and did a really nice job. Adjusted one section I pointed out when walking around and came back the next morning to install a downspout extension they didn't have the previous day. What I was not happy with, aside from the communication between crew/hub/myself, was all the nails and brackets all over the property from the removal of the old sections. Jennifer was once again understanding and apologetic when I called to pay off the balance and even offered to send someone out for cleanup. I declined as I think I got it all...was moreso sharing feedback as it was some sloppy bs. In sum, I'm happy with the actual work that was performed so I think I'd call 3G for other projects to at least get a quote. They were sure to clean up everyday before they left the job site, and did a thorough cleaning of my yard upon completion of the job. Just not professional…read more 1) Wrong gutter colors brought to the job and then said it matched "close enough" It was existing cream and they installed bright white and it looked horrible forcing us to pay them more to replace all of the gutters. They did give a discount but I am thinking this was by design 2) They made multiple mistakes that required multiple trips and did not arrange an install time with us. They literally showed up and started working without us home. 3) They sheered off the head of a bolt that is by the down spout and is now pulling away from the house. Six phone calls (now goes to voicemail) and all of their assurances they would fix their mistake has not been addressed. It is one screw. Five minutes, in and out and they could have done the right thing. I was going to give one star but the gutters work but the owner has no integrity and I don't want anyone else to have the issues I have had with this second company.

The first thing I noticed right away is they actually answer their phone when they call so that was already a plus for me. I was able to schedule an estimate quickly and get someone out to help us address our main issue which was our kitchen not venting correctly, in addition to a fireplace that we would soon need because of the cold Detroit winter. As a new homeowner, we did want to make sure that the fireplaces were in good working condition before we actually started using them so we requested a estimate on what the service and maintenance could potentially be for the fireplaces that we had in our house and any recommendations that they would have. The process was very straightforward. They easily walked us through the quote and what was needed and why, in addition to what the current condition of the fireplace was in to what would need to be done and how it would fix the problem as well as what comes after the service what could be expected what they would be able to help us with should we come across any hiccups after the fireplace maintenance and what warranties came with the products that we purchased. We purchased dampers some gas fire logs, and had our fireplaces updated so that we could use them last winter. From there coming this winter, we assumed that we would have to have the fireplaces serviced again because it was a new year, though we only had a handful of fires in the living room fireplace they scheduled the appointment.
