What a wonderful place and service. All the providers just wanted me to buy a new phone and service. City Cel repaired my charging port in less than two hours and less than a fraction of buying a new phone. Thank you so much for your knowledge, attitude and service! read more

I had a cracked iPad. They fixed it in a couple hours and did an amazing job. Very honest and friendly staff and service.

I felt like $160 was too much to pay for having the screen replaced on my galaxy s5. I could have replaced the whole phone for around $185. The customer service was decent. The location is convenient. I appreciated the $10 discount yelp provided by checking in, that's why I gave them 3 stars instead of 2. read more

I had a great experience here. I walked in and a nice gentlemen greeted me, he was super nice and very helpful. He also did a great job fixing my cell phone. Great prices too. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Purchased a "NEW" Blackberry Storm two weeks ago but 'N' button did not work. Returned to store within the hour of purchase to have business owner inspect. He assured me all would be fine and a replacement phone would be waiting for me when I returned (live in East Bay so need to make special trip to Modesto). Well the owner's now out of the country and the Store Manager tells me without the box (which by the way was a blank white generic box which housed the phone, USB cord & wall charger - nothing more) they would be unable to exchange my device. Trust me folks, if you saw the box you'd see why you would never expect a s/n to be listed on the packaging of this so-called new device. Although the store owner was very helpful & assured me i'd be taken care of I'm now left with a $200 device that is only 99%. Serves me right for thinking a mom&pop wireless store would ever honor a true guarantee policy. BEWARE of these type of establishments and just go directly to the big cellular providers. IF the store owner honors his word when he returns from his vacation (which by the way none of his workers seem to know when that is) I will update my review - but until then I give this place a BIG FAT ZERO for terrible customer service and complete lack of care once they've got your money. Rosa - Ms. Store Manager, you're not cutting the mustard. read more

Won't be returning. Walked in a got pretty good service, down hill after that. A nice girl helped me pretty much right away. There were 2 younger girls working and 2 man sitting in an office. The other girl finished with her customer then went in the back. The girl helping me showed me couple different options of what I was looking for. Prices were a little on the high side but I didn't feel like driving to another store (lazy bastard). While I was being rung up a few more people came in the store. 2 people were trying to get the attention of the men sitting in the office without much luck. The girl helping me told the other customers she would help them after she was done with me. Then she proceeded to help ALL the others before finishing up mine transaction. Seems to me it would have been much better to help the people in the order they come in. Ended up being in the store for nearly a half hour waiting for a damn phone case and screen protector. Won't be back as next time I'll just order off Amazon. Cheaper by about half anyway. read more

Eddie and his employees were great with fixing my iPhone and helping me to change it over to use it for Metro. They never disappoint and always go above and beyond when I need it. Check them out, you wont be disappointed! read more

Wireless professionals, i remember getting my i95cl Nextel from this place and it's still standing. I was in the market for used phones and their selection for each carrier was organized well instead of being all clustered. The reps are good with multi tasking the number of customers that come in. read more

This place is a JOKE, i ordered my screen 2 weeks ago and it's not in. They blame the people who shipped my screen that they sent the wrong part. But I think they are full of CRAP. I called today to cancel my order and they said that the manager was not there, that he works from 9am-3pm..... It was 2pm when i called, she then says that he has no set schedule and comes and goes whenever. Are you kidding me???? I will NEVER go here again. If I could rate them at no star I would. read more

Went to have my shattered iPhone 4 screen fixed, bought the Yelp voucher. No wait in line, quick, friendly service. Phone was done and beautiful in under an hour, and including voucher, only cost $45 total! read more

Took my cell here to replace a glass screen. I took my part with me so they charged me 65 for labor. They said no refunds if screen didnt work. When I came to pick it up they werent able to change it since I took the wrong part. I thought I had lost my money since they had opened it, luckily they gave me a full refund, greatly appreciated! Few years ago they fixed the speakers to my phone back then. So I would go back to them but found a place closer to work home. recommend them. read more

I have used these folks over the last three years multiple times to repair cell phones of mine, my children, or my wife. Their services are always quick and at a reasonable price. We have a fast paced life with our children all playing sports and going to school and so it's important that the phones work. Every time one of the phones gets damaged I know I can count on these guys to fix it quick. I honestly can't say enough good things about these guys. Thoughtful and polite courteous. And honestly the price of repair is usually less than I anticipate being. I tell everyone I know to go to these guys for service and repair. read more

Worst service ever!! They offer on a brand new phone that we purchased from them 6 months ago for 120.00. They were going to give me 5.00 for it. Nothing wrong with the phone at all!! Brand fucking new still have the box! Every piece of electronic you sell to them that's there excuse. read more

They replaced the lens and said no camera issues. So to my dismay the camera didn't work still blurry , I hit them up about my problem.. they told me to come in so I did , no apologies there , and then when I came into get it fixed they were going to make me pay full price for there mistake 75 dollars and the girl at the counter said they might break the screen glass doing so what a joke. I cracked the screen on my iPhone 4S. The ladies were nice and they were finished in an hour and a half. The outside of the place looks a bit shady but inside is surprisingly nice. I used the Yelp deal and it took $40 off the price and cost me twenty. read more

Worst service EVER! Took an iPhone in to be unlocked and 2 and a half months later it is still not unlocked and they will not give me back the $119.00 I paid. Took 7 weeks to get the phone back! Finally filed criminal charges of Consumer Fraud with the District Attorney! The manager is never there I call BS and they have every BS reason not to refund my money and AT*T tells me they gave our money back to them 2 months ago!! RUN don't walk away from this joke of a store! read more

They are AWESOME! My son dropped & smashed his phone on a rock so we took it in. They were a little pricy but worth it because after all you get what you pay for. We got a new screen protector but my son tried putting that on himself to no avail. He got all kinds of lint on the screen so we couldn't get that thing on without bunbles. So we took it back & there were no exchange policies but Valerie used a trick with tape & now he has a phone without bubble screen yay read more

You are still not taking any responsibilty for loosing my contacts! Of coarse I had contacts!!! My advice to others is STILL not to give this place your business. I don't appreciate Eddie in his response insinuated that I am lying about having contacts. Also, yes he did sell me a battery charger, but he did not even recommend buying the charger until after he lost my contacts and was not able to sell me the phone, which was going to cost me 49.00 dollar. He could have recommended the charger in the very beginning. His greedy lack of customer service is why again I do not recommend this shop. Also not every one needs a smart phone! I also feel in his response he is insulting me for not owning a smart phone! What the hell!!!? read more

What a great experience I had at City Cel! Excellent customer service! First off, this place does not deserve any stars. My girlfriend and i went there to fix my iPhone 6 screen because it was severely cracked. We waited about an hour to get my phone back in there tiny and cramped muggy sauna of a business. When we finally got the phone back, all seemed well until later on the day. The touch sensitivity was very poor so to txt i would almost have to stab my fingers into my phone. It progressively got worse over days when my phone started developing lines and my videos came out very blurry and full of those lines as well. We had asked the girl at the front desk before purchase what the difference was between the generic screen and high def and she replied " there isn't much of a difference" THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE! They use cheap parts and they aren't even glass screens like the legitimate ones apple uses. NEVER GO THERE AND SAVE YOURSELF HEART ACHE! read more

We have been going to City Cel for years now and have never been disappointed. They have always been friendly and have always fixed our phones and if they couldn't fix it they didn't charge us a dime. Very reliable business. Highly recommend them. read more

I called and got a quote over the phone for a screen replacement on my Galaxy phone and was told it could be fixed quickly and easily. When I arrived at the store it was a totally disappointing experience!! Once there I was told the screen was not in stock, the price went up, I was told I would have to pay 100% of the screen replacement up front with a 1 week minimum on the screen delivery and the girls behind the counter were not knowledgeable at all!!! Who does this? Not sure how they justify that but I wish I could get customers who utilize my business to pay me 100% up front before I ever do a thing!! Only giving 1 star because I can't do zero!!!! read more
