Terrible coffee, terrible pour. I asked for a large size of their medium roast coffee and requested a shot of skim milk. Instead, I received what appeared to be a large size of their skim milk with a shot coffee. The coffee was poured so high that it spilled over the spout when they passed it to me. So upsetting! read more

First of all, gorgeous store! I keep seeing comments about it being just like Starbucks. Having been a frequent customer of Starbucks, all over the country, I've yet to see one quite this beautiful. I took my daughter in for coffee before a FULL day of shopping. We decided to try the ham and cheese pretzel... it was yummy. Not only that but the gal helped my daughter choose a beverage and brought our drinks and food out to us. It was clean, great atmosphere, welcoming and everything tasted great. This location is a must see. The copper lighting over the community table is gorgeous and unique, as well as the rock work, which could have been faux rock but it sure looked real to me. Went there on a Sunday afternoon as it was the only coffee place my girlfriend and I could find open after driving from one end of town to the other (we were just in town visiting). The place definitely reminds me of Starbucks and the coffee was great. read more

City Brew - Exterior - Cafes Near Me - Kalispell, Montana

I'm normally not very picky about my drinks. I've experienced many different types so I'm open to different styles then I'm used to. I opted to go to City Brew over Starbucks, I should have went the other way. I ordered a white mocha with butterscotch. It was mediocre, at best. Milk tasted over steamed, it was EXTREMELY hot. After letting it cool, it still tasted pretty terrible. The Barista was nice, a little bit loud (seems that she just talks really loud) over the speaker, felt as though she was yelling at me! But she was friendly at the window. I would possibly stop by again to try another drink, but NEVER again the White mocha :/ read more

Go Somewhere Else! --- I simply cannot recommend this place on any level. The service is S L O W, the tables are small, the wifi is spotty, the coffee is weak, and the place has no character. Basically this place is a Starbucks "wannabe", but without any redeeming qualities to get them even halfway there. I've been traveling around the Northwest finding and working out of coffeeshops. This one might be the worst one I've found. Right here in Kalispell I'd recommend Montana Coffee Traders. Even better, visit their ones in Columbia Falls and Whitefish. Or heck ... go to Starbucks! read more

Not my favorite coffee by any means, sadly. I'd rather have Starbucks. There is also a ton of locally owned coffee shops that are like drive thru huts I definitely prefer most all of them to this chain. They have good sweet drinks and teas but as far as their coffee goes, definitely not a fan. read more

I've lived in the valley for many years and have had my fair share of coffee from this business simply because I can't stand Starbucks, most of the little stands in town are about the same caliber as City Brew, and sometimes I just need caffeine more than I do flavor. Plus, City Brew's early morning hours and drive through are convenient to my schedule. Having said all that, the taste and temperature of the coffee changes from barista to barista. There's no consistency. I've had coffee that's too hot, Americanos in which the shots tasted burnt, lattes that turned fruity colors because of too much flavor. Finally, the iced coffee... Oh, the iced coffee!!!! I am not sure what they do, maybe overfill the cup, but every single time I have had an iced coffee it leaks out of the sides of the lid and inevitably onto what always seems to be my white clothing. Very annoying. If you want really well prepared coffee, I'd recommend some of the other walk in coffee shops in Kalispell over the convenience of City Brew's hours and drive through. read more

Great place to get coffee. Price is comparable to Sbux but the coffee doesn't taste burnt like Sbux. The environment is comfortable to sit and relax. Free WiFi. The workers there are very friendly and greet you when you enter and leave. read more

Had to stop in and try their Hot Chocolate and let me tell you it's worth it! Must add the whip for the full experience. I think sometimes at the coffee shops people are quick to order a coffee for their child but a hot chocolate is better for them and comes in the same container. Very tasty and not so hot you can't even joy it. read more

This looked like a local hangout and I should of gotten a regular coffee. I asked for White Mocha latte and it was very bitter. I had to add milk and sugar to the latte. Lesson learned. I hope I will get another change to come here and try something besides a latte. read more

This is not the City Brew of North Kalispell or Bozeman! I have been in there twice and finally learned my lesson. The first time I visited this location, I went in, the two employees working the front sat and talked about their upcoming weekend for close to ten minutes before asking me what I wanted. The second time (today), I tried the drive-thru. After giving my order, there was a long pause and then I was asked if I wanted something else. I provided my answer and then waited for the employee to repeat my order. Two minutes later, he assumed I was someone else and began to try and take a new order. After I pulled to the window, the employee told me that they were looking for part of my order. I tried to ask a question and he disappeared. He came back a few minutes later (the window left open) and told me that they couldn't find the item or that they did not have the item. All-in-all, this was well over 15 minutes. The employee never asked or repeated my order, and seemed too busy to provide customer service. If you are looking for a coffee shop, this IS NOT it. I will continue to shop the North Kalispell/Hospital area City Brew but DO NOT recommend the store at South Kalispell. I am not the only one who has complained about their poor service read more

I love the friendly baristas. The coffee shop was located across the street from where I was staying! It was nice to have a drive -thru to go to before we went to National Glacier park. Love the menu, the coffee & the variety of flavors! Next time I visit this will be the coffee shop to go to! read more

Just go to Starbucks. Grossly understaffed and they put priority on drive thru customers over walk-in. Waited 15 minutes for 2 drinks.

Ick! Americanos taste like watered down day old coffee and lattes are way too sweet. Not my favorite place to go for coffee...usually avoid even in a pinch. read more

Traveling through and met with friends for coffee. Delicious coffee, nice atmosphere for visiting. We were in an RV and the location was convenient next to an Inn that had parking large enough to accomodate. Did not try the food but it also looked very good! read more
