everything was amazing ! the hall looked so beautiful Martha definitely went above and beyond to give my sister her dream party hall. Beside the hall looking beautiful, the service was amazing Martha took care of everything from setting up to having 4 security guards and the lady who served everyone as well !

City banquet hall. Located in Compton on Long Beach Blvd. really nice place I like there hall which is up stairs. Here you can get all you need just have cash cause you don't need anything else. Shop down stairs bring up stairs. This is really useful

We used the City Banquet Hall for our dad's repass and we were so happy with the set up. The lady we dealt with (sorry I forgot her name) was so very patient with us as we ended up in tears a few times. The exchanging of money was very easy and the cost was less than other halls around the area. They set it up with my dad's favorite colors and there was enough space for everyone. Take care of their room and they'll return the deposit. We are thankful for this place because we are not from the area and didn't know what we were going to do after my dad's services. Yet it all worked out and was perfect. Since the rooms are on the 2nd floor, they have stairs and an elevator access. The restrooms were also clean. I'd recommend City Banquet Hall for any event that fits the purpose. Our dad's day will forever be remembered~

Had a great experience, I booked this hall for my daughters sweet 16. Both Martha and Emma helped me out with every question I had! The day of my event the hall looked amazing, everyone was very helpful from the security guards, to the waitress, to the bartenders! I definitely recommend it!

We just had our wedding here. Jonathan and Bianca 9/9/2017 small banquet room(180 guest). We loved it so so much. its clean, beautiful, they have packages so you dont have to worry about anything. Martha was super sweet and did everything possible to satisfy us. She is amazing and i am grateful she understood us. Emma tneir decorator decorated so beautiful, beyond what i expected. their restrooms are great. they have waiteresses, their own kitchen area and a nice little bar anx stage area. you even get a V.I.P room! overall grateful.

We found the Say I Do to Details team online and I was highly impressed by their good reviews. Their planning exceeded my expectations. From being always available, to providing suggestions and insight into timeline, and coordinating everything so well the day of, their team is simply the best. I admire their passion for planning and it was so incredible working with them. I worked with Paola and Sandra directly and Sandra was there day of. Paola and Sandra are very experienced, professional, and kind. Both were actively involved in the planning process. I'm extremely type A and it's hard for me to trust people to take over (especially when I knew it was one of the most important days in my life) and take on tasks, but I trusted them 100%. To start off, they have a lot of experience working at Terannea, which made things a lot easier for us and helped things run smoothly. Moreover, the vendors I selected knew of Paola and Sandra and their team and I admired their good reputation in the wedding industry. Knowing what I know now, it would have been easier for me to have hired them as full on planning instead of day of coordination just because they're so good at what they do that I really trust every decision they make. I keep getting comments from my family and friends that the wedding was one of the best they've been to. Moreover I've received many comments specifically from my bridal party and close family about the incredible planning team keeping the day so smooth and on track. There's a trend on social media about "wedding regrets" and my husband and I keep saying to eachother thankfully that we have zero regrets. Every vendor was amazing and the planning team really went above and beyond what was asked of them and for that I'm forever grateful. I appreciate that the team asked us what 3 things were important to us on our day. 1. our guests have an amazing time 2. the timeline runs smoothly 3. to have fun That's exactly what happened! I am grateful that I was not stressed the day of and we are so happy we found Sandra and Paola as they helped turn my dream wedding into a reality. The wedding went even better than I could have imagined and I can say without a doubt that it would not have gone so perfectly without Sandra and Paola with Say I Do to Details. We chose a partial planning package so we could collaborate closely for the months leading up to the wedding, and it made all the difference. From table layouts to glow bars and all of the creative ideas in between, Jessica helped bring everything to life and together seamlessly. Jessica and her team always found solutions that made our vision possible and wedding day stress free. We also hired a full support team from Three Little Birds in addition to Jessica, our day of planner and Bre, our coordinator, and that decision paid off in a big way. The entire Three Little Birds team kept everything running smoothly and effortlessly, setting up, moving us through the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing without a single hiccup. The event felt calm, organized, and joyful from start to finish, which allowed us to actually enjoy our day. We could not recommend Jessica and her team more highly.

We had an unbelievably disappointing experience with 3 Little Birds for our chairs and linens…read morerentals during a corporate event. The team arrived almost an hour late, several seat cushions were visibly stained and even molded, the cushion covers were not all the same color we had asked for when booking, and some of their staff were rude to us. Members of our own team had to jump in to cover cushions, tie them to chairs, and set them up to attempt an on-time event start, despite having had many other things to take care of for the event. At one point, our own executive leadership, who had arrived to attend the event, were helping assemble chairs just to keep things moving. Post event, we expressed our extreme disappointment, and after some back and forth over the course of weeks, the company did acknowledge the issues and agreed to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, despite months of follow-up and repeated assurances, it has now been over FIVE months, and the refund has still not been provided. I normally prefer to handle situations like this privately and give disappointing companies the benefit of the doubt. But the lack of follow-through and accountability has been incredibly frustrating here, so much time has been wasted with nothing to show for it. I am sharing our poor experience, complete with photos of how the rental items arrived, so others can make an informed decision when considering booking with this company.

It was all thanks to Megan and Marni and the whole So Smitten team. They are incredible. When we first met with So Smitten, Megan walked us through a massive planning document that addressed every component of a wedding. There were so many little things that I would never think about. Their organization blew me out of the water, I immediately knew the So Smitten team would be a great match for us. When we started planning, my wife and I had a very abstract idea of what we wanted. Megan and Marni took our idea and ran with it. They took our really rough vision and perfected it. It was amazing to see the plan evolve during our regular zoom calls. We were also shocked to see that they took notes on EVERYTHING! There were so many little things we mentioned once and forgot about that, months later, found their way into the plan. They also kept us on track through the whole process. They would make a to do list for us at the end of every meeting of what we we need to do and when we need to do it by. That really removed a lot of stress from our lives. The So Smitten team has so many connections for: Photographers, Videographers, DJs, Bands, Flowers, Design, Rentals, everything you need. They made it really easy compare vendors and find the ones that we liked to work with. Later, when all our vendors were trying to check in with us in the weeks leading to the wedding, Megan and Marni took on a bunch of the meetings and contract stuff for us. That removed so much of our stress and let us we could worry about getting our family and friends to the event. Letting them take on all the contracts and negotiations also ended up helping us save about 3-4x the amount we paid So Smitten by finding different alternatives for power, DJs, etc. Leading into the wedding everyone told me to just relax WHEN things go wrong and let the planners and coordinators handle it. Megan and her team were so on top of things that we didn't even notice any issues coming up. My wife and I kept joking "Ok, when is this big issue going to finally arise?" It never really did. At least not to our knowledge. Megan, Marni and the So Smitten team are incredible. We are recommending them to everyone. They took out ALL the stress from wedding planning. I really have no idea how I would have handled it if we didn't find So Smitten!

We were initially drawn to So Smitten because every wedding they coordinated was so beautiful and full of personality, and that was true - but what we couldn't see was how much work went on behind the scenes. Not going to lie, we had some real drama this year, and our coordinator Megan became our rock: guiding us with her expertise, calm, and humor. She always made herself so available throughout the process, be it through recommendations or negotiations or bridal anxieties. I'm worried that if I keep going on you won't read this whole thing, so I'm going to say maybe the best thing about hiring So Smitten: we had so many people say that we had a perfect wedding, and not only do I truly agree, but I also know that would not have been possible without Megan, Marni, Melanie and the team.
