This was the worst experience ever. I negotiated for a car online. Provided my own financing and they never would send documents. Lied about overnighting them then told me they can't. I had financing and a check on the 7th of July. I told them I needed to pick the car up Saturday or Sunday as I was traveling to pick it up. They kept promising documents. I kept supplying proof of financing and the I kept getting oh we are so busy we haven't gotten your documents out. I was very clear about that I had small window to pick up the car. It was going to be my daughter's first car. We were so excited. They didn't hit any deadline I stranger for my son or wife to pick up on the 13th or 14 th max the 15 the and they never went document an and then I was out of time. We had taken the day of work it was a 7 hour drive and they weren't going to have it ready. Even though we had comments payment they had confirmed the loan themselves. They never got it done. The sales man Ari lied through the whole process. I provided him everything he asked for and nothing ever happened. First is spoke to the sales manager then he was out it the next day and they couldn't help me. They were too busy selling cars to send out documents. They actually said that. My poor daughter was so excited only to have her hopes dashed. I offered to put a large deposit even for the whole car amount on a credit card until they got the credit card. If I could give the review a zero I would have. My wife and I are both banking executives and have never seen anything as bad as this and we have dealt with dealerships for years. The reviews here are fake and false - Beware. I submitted an email and online inquiry on a vehicle last night. I never got a call or email back the next morning. I called and they said they didn't get my inquiries. I then was handed off to another representative. He had issues getting my VIN information said he'd text. Never texted. I then called twice and no answer. Imagine having problems with a vehicle post purchase or not getting your tags?? These guys are totally unorganized and unreliable. Hands down the best experience we've had buying a car! And we have bought cars all over the country, East coast, West coast, Midwest, new, used, and online. We were treated well. Negotiated a fair price over the phone and drove 2.5 hours to pick it up. Jocelyne had the paperwork ready to go when we arrived. Abraham walked us through the signing process and didn't try to upsell us on anything. We paid cash but if we had needed financing, I'm sure he'd have worked a good deal for us. Sales office was clean and they had cold drinks for the hot day. Let me say it was not without issues, but they solved them quickly. The front brake line had a leak and they called their mechanic in to fix it on his day off. I didnt catch his name, but a big thanks!!! Replaced it quickly with a new line. It's a 12 year old used car and that's the only thing we found of any issue after driving for 2 weeks. We have another kid learning to drive and we are definitely looking for a good car here first. read more

It's been a month or so since my husband and kid and I purchased a car from them. I was trying to figure out how to put my thoughts in words about our experience. My son had worked really hard in saving his money up so he could buy his first car. It was supposed to be a fun exciting experience but it was anything but. He originally purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan, but right off the bat we had nothing but problem with it. It was leaking major oil so we took it back to city auto sales and told them about it. They said to take it to a mechanic that they use. So the very next day we did. The mechanic wasn't aware he was getting it because they neglected to tell him which the guy said it was a common thing with them. After a couple of days went by I called the mechanic and he told me it was picked up by city sales. They never notified us they were picking our car up, so we had no idea where it was. I called city sales and spoke with one of their managers who then had to search for what happened to it. Supposedly one of the owners had picked it up and took it to another mechanic. So we went in search for it. They weren't able to fix the leak because of where it was. So we picked the car up and the very next day the engine light went on so I called city and spoke with the manager telling him we are taking it to the last mechanic they had it at because we felt he was honest and very knowledgeable. He found a piece that needed replaced and fixed it, but the next day the light came back on so we took it back and was told that the whole piece needed replaced and he couldn't do it because Volkswagen doesn't release all the parts or computer stuff so we made an appointment with the Volkswagen dealership to look it over. During this whole time I had to practically hound city sales because the lack communication with the clients informed etc. When we were there we told them we taking it to the dealership to have them look at it. They proceeded to tell us that it was ok to drive and made comments about the mechanic. It left a bad taste in our mouths. When we heard back from the dealership in regards to the Tiguan they said it would cost around $6000 to fix. We were not ok with this so I contacted city sales and they gave us another manager to deal with. He made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We wanted our money back but he wouldn't do that so we were forced to pick another vehicle. He said he didn't even have to do that. He tried pushing us to finance which we did not want to do so he tried to push a Honda Accord on us. We went to take a test drive and before we even left the lot the key broke in the ignition. Once we got it on the road my husband notice a loud noice put couldn't pin point where it was coming from. We didn't get a good feeling about it so we took back and told the guy there was something wrong with. He just shrugged it off basically. We ended up looking at a Toyota but because of the past issues we wanted to take it to a mechanic to have it checked out before we bought it. It was given the all clear so we went back to city sales to see what they would do for us. The manager we were dealing with that made us feel like we an inconvenience didn't even give us a deal on it, after all the trouble we had. So my poor son had to fork out more money to purchase the car. Between the lack of communication, talking bad about the mechanic, being made to feel like an inconvenience, we left there very upset. One of the managers had the nerve to call and harass me about what was said about the mechanic. He tried to get me to change our view on the situation. Which of course he was unsuccessful. My family will not buy a vehicle there no would we recommend them to anyone. It was not a good experience at all. read more

Sells broken down cars that look nice and will drive, for a while. Does slapdash repairs on vehicles that last just long enough for it to be your problem. Buy NOTHING unless you have a mechanic check it out first. At least the staff are reasonably respectful. read more

Don't deal with this place they're a scam, they will run your credit knowing how old you are and even know you have good credit but then say that they can't finance because of your age even though they knew your age the whole time to get your info. also nathaly from the start of the phone call was complaining about how she couldn't wait to get off and get home, I don't know about you but when I'm talking to a dealership on the phone I don't want to know about how bad you want to go home and get off! they also don't know how to count, I was talking price and when put all together the money I had it came out to $5000 or more but nathaly said it was only in the $4000 range, even if I was to trade in my truck I was going to be more then $4000. They're a joke don't drive the miles to them stay in Portland or Eugene better deals and interest! read more

worst ever the salesman Alex was so uninformed and added bumper to bumper coverage without asking us then had us sign papers in my work parking lot and never informed us , the sirus xm didnt work he sent me back and forth,,, horrible but my Disabled vet husband told him 3 times we just transfer my disabled plates to our new car.....well no he ordered new plates and charged us $270, Stay away from city auto. read more
