We needed a new roof and contacted 3 roofers. Tu Construction won our business without hesitation…read more The free inspection was prompt (next day), they identified our issues and set an appointment for the following day to present their bid. They brought at least a dozen color samples. We sat down and were fully informed in the most professional manner about the cost, financing available, timeframe and what to expect. Bob, Angel, JC, and Giulia are all fantastic! They took care of all village permits. From our estimate to completion was 11 days and would have been shorter but the village permit takes time. They arrived at 7am and our roof was completed by 6pm. They also properly vented our bathroom fans through the roof included in our roof replacement. They left our yard and driveway completely clean and free of debris. With a bit of snow still in the ground, they came back after it melted to double-check that all debris was cleaned up. I wholeheartedly recommend TU Construction. Nice people, great work, prompt, professional, and communication was excellent! Very happy customer!

Save yourself the trouble and move on and find another roofing company other than J&J Restoration…read moreroofing with business address in Evanston, IL. The owner, Jason Chase, is undependable and very clever at coming up with lies to drag you along once you wonder about your quote and the drone photos he was to provide! Jason, the owner of JnJ Restoration came out and did our roof replacement quote in Glen Ellyn, IL, was polite and courteous and always on time throughout the process. His roofing installation company crew was respectful of our neighbors, finished when the contractor crew chief said they would and cleaned up after the roof job site everyday. We also get many compliments on our DaVinci Roofing Shingles, Chicago's best roof option, in my opinion. If you are looking for a new roof installation in Chicagoland, JnJ Restoration comes highly recommended! Next year we plan on doing a new vinyl siding installation to match our new roofing by JnJ Restoration. Overall, I would say it's the best roofing company in Chicagoland, or at least Chicago's West Suburbs!

I used Andres Roofing to remove an old rubber boot on our roof that had never been sealed properly…read moreand was leaking water during heavy rain. I got a couple of quotes to have the boot removed and Andres Roofing was the most reasonable so I decided to go with them. We had a to reschedule a few times due to rain, but when they were finally able to make it out on a rain-free day they promptly fixed the issue. I also had them remove an old satellite and an antenna from the roof, which they did for a reasonable amount extra. Overall, I would recommend them for any roof repairs.

I strongly recommend staying away from this roofing company…read more After a devastating storm hit Homewood, my home sustained significant damage. The company initially responded quickly and installed a tarp to protect the home from additional rain damage. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill from there. I was initially provided an invoice for one amount. After my insurance adjuster became involved and met with the roofing company, I received another invoice only three days later that was approximately $4,000 higher--even though there had been no corresponding change to the scope of work. My insurance adjuster also noticed that the price being charged for wood had increased within those few days. Then, after the work was completed, we received yet another invoice for an even higher amount. In total, this company gave us three different prices for essentially the same scope of work. The price increased after insurance became involved, and then increased again afterward. We repeatedly questioned these increases and did not receive an adequate explanation for why the same work continued to cost more. Even more concerning, I signed a proposal for an agreed-upon scope and amount and was given my copy. The company's version later reflected a higher amount than the document I had signed. Additional charges continued to appear throughout the process. I also found discrepancies between what was billed and what I could verify was actually completed. For example, the amount of plywood billed did not appear to correspond with the square footage or photographic documentation. Several items included within the agreed scope of work were not completed. The gutter guards were another issue. I did not request new gutter guards. I was told they were being installed at no additional charge, and I have Ring footage documenting that conversation. The company later attempted to charge me for them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. Carefully document every conversation, keep your original copies of everything you sign, compare every invoice against the original scope of work, and verify that the work being billed was actually performed. I have documentation supporting my experience, including the three different prices/invoices, my copy of the signed proposal, photographs, communications, and Ring footage. I have also reported my concerns to the Better Business Bureau. I would not use this company again, and I would strongly caution others before signing anything or allowing this company to handle an insurance-related project.

We were recommended to Benjamin Brothers from a family friend. I made contact and Cody came out to…read moredo the estimate on a roof/gutters/siding damaged during a large hail storm. I had already made a claim with my insurance company (name intentionally withheld). With the estimate in hand, we hired Benjamin Brothers to complete the work and be our representative with our insurance company. I didn't want the headache and they knew what to do. As typical with insurance claims adjusters, they tried to nickel and dime the claim and Lee and Cody fought back to get the repair covered and each piece of damage compensated. Due to the back-and-forth, the job was delayed (weather/seasons) and the insurance tried to not pay the depreciation funds. We fought back again and the funds were finally released. The work was done professionally and when there was a slight issue with the repair, they corrected it immediately. They were responsive to our e-mails and phone calls and helped us through the dealing with our insurance company.
