They also apparently left behind a lot of cleaner residue, which as time progressed just continued to attract more and more dirt and left weird stains that looked like you'd spilled liquid chocolate or something in various places. The man that came (I don't know his name and my husband didn't catch it either but I think it must have been Donald) got right down to work and just powered on through until he was done. If you're in this area, I'd totally recommend them. It was $89.95 for up to 400 square feet thorough carpet cleaning and stain removal plus carpet sanitizing. That's on par with other places like Chem-Dry - but our family will be using Envirocare Cleaning Sulutions from now on.

Once in my personal home, and the most recent when a pressurized fire suppressant pipe burst on the top floor of a 3-story building. I contacted him on Sunday in January that it was spewing out 30 to 100 gallons of water per minute for 30 minutes. He responded immediately and extracted hundreds of gallons of water from the building. What a blessing to help minimize the destructive power of water. His office manager, Judy, for the past 21 years, has been a great delight to work with because of her professionalism and cheerful demeanor. Finally, stumbling upon his work van parked at a residence in town, he was confronted with his lack of response, escorted to his bank whereupon he paid back what had been overcharged. At the end, he had to gall to ask "no hard feelings"...! We had no issues with the work done, he showed up on time. But recommend against using this business due to unethical business practices.

My complaint involves pricing: both the high cost of the service that they provided and the lack of an estimate before I made the appointment. I would not recommend the special enzyme solution for pet odor removal. Eco-Clean wouldn't tell me this beforehand, but it costs $40 per gallon (of the diluted solution), and my apartment needed thirteen gallons to get cat urine out of my carpet. I made the mistake of getting the treatment anyway, hoping that I would be getting something that previous carpet cleaners hadn't provided (for a fraction of the cost). In this case, I didn't get what I paid for. It ended up costing over $500 for an hour of carpet cleaning, including $50 I paid for the Amazon Local deal. I would've been better off just replacing the carpet at that rate. I am still communicating with the company about my dissatisfaction, and I will update this review when there is more resolution.

They ask for a "special stain remover" for the tougher spots and charge you for each spot in addition. I have rented the Safeway carpet cleaner and did a BETTER job than this guy without the special stain remover and this isn't even my job!!! The only reason we wanted to use it for the 2nd time was because I bought 2 deals at the same time and we need to use up the 2nd one. Furthermore, the stains from the first time didn't really stay clean after 2 weeks - you can actually see it reappear from the original spots. I bought this Amazon Local deal for $89 to clean 3 rooms up to 900 sq ft. https://local.amazon.com/seattle/B0071M9FM4 in January 2012. I see that currently, they have another Amazon Local deal for the same service but it's only $50. https://local.amazon.com/seattle/B009SOSAF6 I did not try to get money back, given that I purchased my $89 deal prior to the $50 one, but Ben wanted to tax an extra $50 on TOP of my $89 deal? Makes no sense and is a bad business practice to CHANGE YOUR PRICE before telling the client until you show up LATE for an appointment. Also, once a deal is bought, you cannot say "our company is changing our model mid-way and the $50 extra charge for Seattle customers is new" and expect us to be okay with it.
