Citrus Fresh was hired by our management company, Home Owners Association Management (HOAO) to repair ceiling damage from a rooftop boiler leak. Part of the water damage was to the drop ceiling panels that allowed access to the central air condition/heating unit installed in the airspace above the ceiling. The sub-contractor repairmen replaced the ceiling tiles with drywall; sealing off any access to the HVAC system. After I complained, repairmen returned and installed an access panel in the drywall. Great, only now that the HVAC system needs repair, I find that the panel is not large enough. Part of the ceiling now will need to be removed to gain full access. Citrus Fresh should have supervised the sub-contractor and replaced the the old drop ceiling with a new drop ceiling in the first place. read more

I won't bore you with the details of this whole episode. Let's just say that the ceiling in my condo developed a really fun "indoor water feature" that broke through the drop ceiling during the wee hours of Sunday morning. Plumber said it was the fire sprinkler. Fire sprinkler guy said it was the roof. Roofer said they couldn't come out for two weeks. So, frustrated with not having a diagnosis for what was causing the leak, my HOA sent out the guys from Citrus Fresh, and in less than 30 minutes they had opened up the ceiling and exposed the fire sprinkler pipe that was causing the constant drip. The guys were on time, all very courteous and professional, and really nice to my cats. They cleaned everything up and left it as tidy as possible, taking care to protect my wood floors from any further damage. Even though Fire sprinkler guy hasn't fixed it yet (he's due back tomorrow), they left one of the big fans up there to help dry out what it can in order to avoid mold taking hold, and promised to be back on Tuesday to fix everything back up. This review is for their rug cleaning service. I have a CB2 rug that was in desperate need of a cleaning after nearly 3 years of not cleaning it other than vacuuming once a week. Lisa messaged me a quote right away and set up the appointment for that week. The day of the cleaning, the cleaner called me to let me know what time he would be there and I told him where he could park. He came up, examined the rug, and took it outside to clean it. The whole process took only about 20 minutes and my rug looked so fresh! I was also very happy that he let me know how the wool rugs will smell until they are dry and asked me to open my windows and turn fans on it. The smell was gone as soon as it was dry. Once again Jose came and did an amazing job! This time he cleaned our massive red couch of dog hair and smell and it's so pretty and red again. He could have taken the slip covers away to clean, and bring them back dry in a few days-- and he recommended that-- but I begged to leave them, so he cleaned here and stayed and dried them till they were mostly dry. Extra time on his part and I so appreciate that. And he sanitized the floor where the big dogs had made a real mess on our expensive tiles, and he cleaned the edge of the leather arm chair (I didn't even know that was possible), no damage, no smell! Really disappointed. I called Citrus a week ago and asked to have my carpet cleaned, as I've done in the past. I requested Jose and was promised that Jose would be here this morning to clean my carpet between 8am and 10 am. Not only did they not send Jose (I was told he was on another job - which is really code word for a more important client), the person they did send, called me from outside my house at 7:15 am and asked if he could start early. I told him I would need 10 minutes to pull myself together. He did a horrible job and left the carpet so wet that at 9:30 pm, parts of the carpet were still wet. In the past, my carpet would dry within four hours. I have a small home, with only area carpets, so when they lose me as a customer, they don't stand to lose much, however, I have been a very consistent customer, until today, when I was treated so poorly. This is the best carpet cleaning company I have ever used. They take their time cleaning and are never in a rush. I have a sick dog and they were able to clean my carpets so well that all the stains are gone and it smells so good when they are done. I checked out Yelp reviews before calling, and the reviews concurred with what I had been told. I called the Sherman Oaks office yesterday, a Sunday, and spoke to David about what I needed. He said his guys could come today and give me an estimate. If I was comfortable with the estimate, they could do the work same day. If not, the estimate was free and no hurt feelings. I am beyond thrilled with the promptness, professionalism, pricing and result. Jose and Alex did the work. I have a large wool area rug as well as some gnarly nylon carpet in my upstairs loft that desperately needed cleaning. All rugs and carpet are more sanitary than an operating room now, and they are drying quickly. Obviously they were damp after the cleaning, but just slightly.
