Great service! We brought in 6 pairs of boots. The owner let us know 2 pairs were not worth…read moresaving/repairing. We asked to have 3 pairs of men's boots reheeled and 1 pair of women's boots stretched. He said he would be done by Friday (4 days later) but to call if he hadn't called us yet and asked for a deposit since it would be about $90. Friday morning he called and our shoes were ready. He reheeled the men's boots and sealed the suede on one pair, as well as stretched and put a traction pad on the women's boots since he noticed they were new and slippery. No extra charge for the suede sealing or heal traction. His attention to detail earned him two satisfied customers. What really sold was his willingness to turn down work that he is not an expert in. I asked if he worked on leather handbags.He said he could clean my bag but wouldn't feel comfortable charging me for a color treatment as it wasn't his expertise and wouldn't want the bag to then stain my clothes. I appreciate the honestly, it proves he takes pride in his work. I will return again and again for any shoe service I may need.
