Never have I come across a Manager so catering , kind, attentive to someone's needs and knowledgeable about everything in the banking system and delivers quickly and efficiently the business requirements of her customers in a very smooth manner. That's Elizabeth Sultanyan. I have had many inquiries with her on several different occasions and I have noticed how many times she has covered her team's work and her job by going beyond her title to make things work for me and others as if the bank was her own store ! I had left this area and recently moved so I hadn't had the chance to see her for quite some time to tell her "thank you" for helping me all these months but returned to hear from one of the associates that she's been on sick leave for more than three months. I hope she's not sick and she's just getting a breather from all the pressured work she did for Citibank. One thing is for sure ...Citibank has lost one precious gem of a genuine and honest Manager for that community. Slowest bank ever , line of people waiting and there's one teller with 2-4 other workers just standing behind watching , the atm sucks its ate bills before when I've deposited money instead of dealing with the tellers long line , they should've kept the Tujunga location open to read more

FYI If you are not a Citibank customer you will not be allowed to get quarters from this location. Yes, businesses have the right to refuse service. Chase, Bank of America, and U.S. Bank however will gladly help you. Also these three banks have only ever asked how my day is, NOT "are you one of our customers?" Great service always by management! Everyone greats you well and service is amazing. I can't be satisfied enough as any time I needed assistance they treat me as family . Entire stuff is helpful and knowledgeable on all the aspect starting with the new tellers to bankers to the manager! Really appreciate of what they do and how do they take care of every single client. I have all my friends and family banking here and I know everyone is happy with this branch. My identity was fraudulently used to open an account and it took me 8 calls and over 2 hours to report it because they would transfer me and leave me on hold indefinitely, only to disconnect my call. I suspect that all customer service is handled overseas. It's not like Americans need jobs! read more

Heaven forbid u ever have to file a FRAUD claim with this disgusting so called bank. I did unfortunately and have filed 3 times, going on my forth try. Citibank does NOT acknowledge FRAUD! After the fact, I find out the gift card scam .....but this bank does not accept it as anything but a normal transaction. Unbelievable. I would have lost thousands if it wasn't for the good bank of Wells Fargo----returned funds no questions asked! So I obviously left Citibank in every which way. That old man teller when he talked to me he was like shouting..there's only 1 old armenian guy..I was asking him why I gave to wait to deposit an( insurance check 15000 signed by the mortgage company and me and my wife signed and we had acount over 20 trs ago he said with high unprofessional voice JUST WAIT! so I waited for the manager here's she come in from the front door with 2 bags of ralphs [ there's a market in that shopping area] so she was shopping st 2 pm using the bank time then she talked to her self..oh..let me put it in my car..she went back to her car here's she comes back 3 minutes later she asked me you need help? Without greeting me I said yes she looked to tge check 2 second and said we don't dep 3rd party check I said the mortgage company signed it ..I did it before is the rules changed ? My husband and I have had a bank account and Safety Deposit Box at this branch for years, and we still do. The bank staff are usually friendly and helpful (though difficult to reach by phone). About 8 months ago, Chris Maro, a new accounts salesperson, promised a bonus of about $600 for opening a new account and making a large deposit. He said this was part of a promotion by Citibank. We opened the account and made the large deposit. Several months later, when the bonus was due, it turns out that Chris had promised something that was not within bank policy. So, we were not given the bonus. Then, I spoke with Daniela Norton, the branch manager. She spoke with Chris and determined that the promise of a bonus had been made. She told me that she would make sure that we would receive the bonus as promised. She said that she would also correct Chris, who had not followed bank policy. However, a week after I met with Daniela, I received a letter from Citibank saying that the bonus would not be paid. My husband and I run a small business. When one of our staff makes an agreement with a customer, and the customer does their part of the deal, we fulfill the agreement. We do this even if the promise made was not within company policy. Then, we correct the staff person. This is how business is done in the U.S. and why we can trust the word of company representatives. If this were not the case, it would be very difficult to do business. Citibank made $19 billion in profits in 2019. It is shameful that it sold out its integrity for $600 and has chosen to undermine the culture of customer trust that it so benefits from. read more

Worst ATMs in all of the Citibank's I have been too. Either there ATM can't accept cash deposits or cannot withdraw. Deposited cash on Friday and the amount is missing from my account. Called Citi and they said they have to investigate and will respond within 10 days. Horrible when you take my money and saying 10 days to investigate when I have bills to pay. This branch is horrible. I am a merchant and deposit checks daily. Every time I'm here with checks to be deposited they give me hard time. Came this morning for deposit saw Eugene he started to give me attitude as to why I have checks for deposit. I asked him if it's a problem for him I can go to the next window with the older Armenian gentleman working there, then Eugene told me "what's the difference his going to get mad also. " R U SERIOUS! This is pathetic. I'm going to close my merchant account with Citi bank and go to a different bank where it's hassle free. read more

I am so disappointed with Citibank customer service. I have been customer many years and every year it has gotten worse. I think its time to change banks. There famous line is "i am sorry". We had to call twice customer service. Trip to the bank and they were able to access. We came home will not let us access. Back on the phone again to help get access. So much time wasted. read more

Manager is inefficient at keeping his staff trained to do all transactions. His name is Razmik Arakelyan. None of the two tellers were able to do a simple international wire. They told me I had to wait for him. I waited for Mr. Arakelyan patiently for 20 minutes while he attended two other gentlemen. When he finished his business with these two gentlemen and they left the bank, I was not invited to come sit at his desk, he ignored me!!!! I got up and went to sit in The chair in front of his desk at 4:40 . I tell him what my business is if he could help me. Then he lies to me and tells me that the tellers can do that job. I then proceeded to tell him that his two tellers cannot do the job because they sent me to him. He then tells me he has too much work to do that he can't help me do my transaction that day with 15 minutes left before closing...come back tomorrow. Very disappointed with Citibank representative. Amber is excellent. Normally this branch is well run and I have personally witnessed customers being unreasonable, but the bank employees behaving quite well. Seeing unfavorable reviews here I suspect the customers are being unfair. Calling here may be a disappointment as you might be transferred to a Citi call center...not so good.
