Nice stadium. Very well organized. Ticket takers are pleasant. All vendors are very nice. The restrooms are maintained clean and tidy. We've been coming to this stadium for many years and will continue to come back for many more.

Great hospitality as a Yankees fan traveling to Citi Field we had great services, the environment was lively and everyone had a smile on their face ready for the game. Popcorn hot and fresh, the cookies were delicious sweet treat, the blackberry lemonades were the perfect pick me up, just the right balance of tart and sweet, Kimchi chicken sandwich was delicious fresh and a decadent bite to start off the 9 innings ahead! Great stadium food!

Still one of my most favorite places in the world. My guys have done me dirty!!! Where's my concession stand with the red sauce onions?? If it's a sanitary thing, put it behind the counter. I will PAY for that stuff and I'm sure others would too. Helllloooooooo....revnueeeeeeee! It was my first time at the Citi Field Shake Shack and that shake hit soooo hard. Went for Queens culture day and it was my first time in a few years actually. It was great to be back. Minus the onions, and the Mets losing as per usual, I will always love this stadium!

Love the stadium. This was my first visiting there. My friends got us tickets and shared their experiences with us. It was fun! I was surprised how clean it was. It seems to be very organized more or less. The staffs were attentive and efficient. There are so many food stalls; that include Shake Shack, Nathan's Hotdog, Dole. My favorite was Dole Whip. I got the cutest souvenir cup!

My wife and I loved our time at Citi Field. The stadium has a great setup. There are tons of great food and drink options. The fans are passionate. There was so much energy in the building. The Mets have a solid team and have been competitive as of recently. And we even had some comedy as we watched a fan run onto the field and get tackled. Overall, a great time!

I came here for a Mets game and had a great time. There is parking and there is a subway stop for the 7 and the LIRR right in front of the stadium. The game was fun to watch and there was a lot of energy from the crowd. There were a lot of food options ranging from gyros to hotdogs to cookies and Mr.Softee

Great place for food and entertainment but be west of your emotions with the Mets. Been a fan for 60 years. They'll break your heart over and over again. But by all means enjoy the park. Staff is great. You'll have a good time

I am a California guy so I was really excited to check out Citi Field. I'm happy to say I couldn't have had a better experience (except maybe seeing my team win the game & not give up more runs than the Mets have ever scored at home in franchise history). From the subway that drops you right outside the stadium to the super simple and easy security checkpoint to get inside, everything was just a breeze. Everyone inside was so incredibly friendly and helpful, even with my wearing the opposing team's gear (one employee very jokingly said 'you're wearing the wrong jersey, friend' but that was is). I love that with my ticket we were granted access to various clubrooms for easier access to food. I'm used to other stadiums where those things are locked behind a separate ticket/price (though those ones do offer free food once inside). I just had a wonderful experience roaming around the park checking out all of the clubs and food options before the game started. Once at my seat, the fun continued. The fans were great to be around (most of the jokingly apologizing to me about the Met's dominance) and they bring such life to the park. It was a sold out crowd who were there to watch a new pitcher make his major league debut and seeing and hearing their love and support of him was just a wonderful experience. You couldn't help but get wrapped up in it. In all, I just loved everything from when I got to the stadium to when I got on the subway to go back in to the city. Citi is a great modern day stadium that offers a little something for everyone.

I've never been to Citi Field... until now. Went to a concert recently and holy... freaking blazing hot. I don't recommend anyone waiting in line to get into the venue. Pro-tip: Go stay in the shades until it's time to go in... more entry will open up. It's ridiculous that no one provides guidance. People need to STOP self queuing. Most people line up early to buy merch. But if you don't need it - just go during a song or performance that you're willing to miss and buy the merch. My friends did just that and snag the T-Shirt w/o lining up for hours. I don't love this venue bc going home was a mess, the 7 train is horrible in general so definitely expected delays. They added service but still, slow AF. The seats are ok, food is highly overpriced, bottle waters (2 for $16), we needed water in this NYC heat, but have no desire to eat any of the selections available. Almost bought dipping dots but wow... $8 for a small cup, no thanks. Wish everything was more organized. The bathrooms are not kept clean - again, I know this is the Mets stadium but wow, thought there would be better food options than what we saw. Otherwise, if you have no choice, this is OK for a concert venue. I'd would forgo coming unless it's a really good artist. lol

Full disclosure from the get go - I'm a diehard Mets fan going back to the mid-90s when they...weren't the best and way too much ink was spilled about how amazing Bill Pulsipher and Alex Ochoa were going to be for the subsequent decade. I have a lot of very pleasant (and also heartbreaking) memories from Shea Stadium, and that will always be a 5-star monument of wonder for me. That blue and orange eyesore was the best, and I don't think I ever paid more than $10 for a ticket there. Times have changed. I came here with my top-tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality this past Saturday for the Mariners game, which started at 4pm (weird time for a weekend game - usually it's either 1pm or 7pmish). There was drama with the 7 line once we got into Queens so a quick pivot to an Uber was in order, and we arrived probably 40 minutes before game time. Not a ton of time to take in the sights, but we did a bit of recon in our area of the park (left field), including the Metro Market and surrounding concession stands. We bought these tickets fairly recently so there were not a lot of options. (That was a nice perk of Shea Stadium/when the team wasn't that good - you had your choice of juicy seats.) We ended up getting two seats right on the aisle in section 535, which also contained a stunning amount of Mariners fans. They were largely respectful and no rumbles were initiated. Our tickets had a disclaimer that it was obstructed view, but that was honestly negligible; I think they were referring to the fact that you can't see any ball hit to the warning track in left, which is fair. It was an issue a few times but not that big of a deal - you could literally see the rest of the ballpark. My preferred seats are right behind home plate, first few rows of the upper deck, but good luck getting those plum spots in 2025. No matter. One of our first stops was a specialty cocktail booth, where I got a surprisingly tasty beverage. It was a special that day I think (I'm not seeing it on the menu) but I'm pretty sure it had bourbon and apricot liquor or something? I was a big fan, but my chum didn't like that it contained carbonation. Her loss, my gain. The woman behind the counter was very friendly; we had a miscommunication with the order due to the sheer volume of noise around us, and she was very accommodating and respectful in light of same. Top marks. Right before the game, we managed to grab a bite in the Metro Market, which is a recommend for me - very nice interior and it was relatively quiet, I think because it's kind of nestled in the left field corner and not getting quite as much foot traffic as some of the other spots in the ballpark. The food in there was just okay; I got a slice of the Prince St Pizza, which is unfortunately a downgrade over the last pizza I had here several years ago (I think it was a deep dish pizza, Emily or something like that?). Pretty greasy and not a great crust. And for $13 or whatever I paid for the slice, it should be better. We took a walk during the 7th inning and landed over at the Hudson Whiskey Club. Eh. It was pretty dingy, in my opinion, and reminiscent a place in Penn Station, which I don't think they're going for - I'd spend some of Steve Cohen's money in the offseason on fixing this area up. It's got a good view if you're lucky enough to procure seating by the window, but this was one of the lower points of the adventure. My chum also got a margarita here that was pretty bad. We did order this extreme grilled cheese thing that was styled like a cinnamon roll and came with tomato fondue, which was decent. Little too much cheese for me, but it IS a stadium item so... There wasn't a lot of time before and after the game to take in all of the sights or even close to it, but it was still a really good experience. We had great timing, with the Mets calling up their top pitching prospect Nolan Maclean for this game, and he delivered a scoreless 5 1/3 innings for a warmly receptive crowd. Very good energy in the park for a much-needed win. I'm not crazy about these 4pm games (it means you have to navigate to Queens in the middle of the afternoon instead of late morning or evening, which makes a difference), but we're going to try to sneak in a night game during this playoff push as well. Go Mets.

Citi Field is an amazing ballpark, this is our 2nd visit and will be returning! Something new this year v our last visit is they actual have a dedicated gluten free and vegan concession stand. This was great because my wife has no choice but to be gluten free and usually Can't eat at the ballparks. I'm ur drive across the state took longer than we expected so we had dinner at Citi Field! And yes the Mets won against the Padres in 10 innings! It was a great game!

Saw the best game at the stadium because of all the action -- home runs, strikes, double play, but most special of all was Pete Alonso breaking Darryl Strawberry's home run record. Not only did Alonso get 253, he got 254! There were so many home runs last night, they ran out of fireworks! As for food, I wasn't that hungry so I just snacked on my son's French fries. Basically, Nathan's thick fries. We sat in section 416 -- great view. But the ladies room right behind that section was hot and had a weird smell like peppers and onions. Very awful.

Citifield home to The New York Metropolitans, opened to much fanfare in 2009. The park is definitely a major upgrade to the past digs Shea Stadium, which left much to be desired. It's very fan friendly and I believe boasts some of the best eats in any MLB park in the country. Aesthetically the exterior and interior of the stadium were designed to mimic the old Ebbets Field, home of the legendary Brooklyn Dodgers. The previous owner of the Mets was a Brooklyn Dodger fan and wanted this stadium to resemble the old one as much as possible. Much of the Mets fan base took issue of with this when the design of the stadium was revealed twenty years ago. But nonetheless it's a really nice facility and there are finally plans to build up the surrounding area with hotels, restaurants and possibly a casino in the near future. Unlike most of the modern MLB stadiums there is nothing in the area to keep you here after the game. We attended last Wednesday's game against the Pirates and luckily it stopped raining. We took public transportation from Staten Island (SI Ferry to the 4 train to Grand Central to the 7 train to Flushing) which was easy. In all the times I've gone to Met games this was a first for me. If you're in the City taking public transit is a great option. Parking at Citi is now $40.00 and traffic is a nightmare getting out here. The Grand Central "Parking Lot", Van Wyck, BQE and Belt Parkway are always jammed with traffic. My son surprised me with tickets to last Wednesday's game. He scored two awesome seats on Seat Geek for cheap ($180.00 total) which were box seats that allowed access to the Clover Club. I haven't been to Citi since '14 but I have sat in the box seats and have been to the Clover Club before. It's really nice. There are plenty of seats and three large bars to get drinks. Also, plenty of food options in the club or you can opt to go somewhere else in the stadium and bring your food back. We had a great time even though my Mets lost. The seats were comfortable and the service and staff were great. If you're a baseball fan Citifield is a really nice stadium to catch a game.

Ask the Community - Citi Field

Is it worth extra $ to upgrade to the Piazza and Hudson club? What kind of food is available?

I didn't even realize we were in club level and had access and it was nice to be able to go into your own club area to order food and drink and hang out and have a large seating area.

Is there a train/ferry that goes to/from nearby the stadium?

7 line or or the LIRR

Can you park at Citi Field overnight for 2-day event, e.g. US Open when staying in nearby hotel? Or will we get towed?

You'll be towed. If you want to park a second day, you have to pay a second time.

    Current beer prices?

Expensive. Thats all you need to know. This is a sports stadium, so naturally everything is sky rocket prices. I wouldn't plan on having more than 2 beers here.

What section can you get autographs from?

You go up to the front and ask the MLB player during warm up hour before the game. If they are nice to you they'll sign their autograph for free.

Do gates open 1 or 2 hours before the game?

Two gates -- the Jackie Robinson Rotunda (home plate) and Hodges entrance (first base) -- open 2 hours prior to each game, while all the other gates at Citi Field open 1 1/2 hours before game time except on Saturday and Sunday, when every gate opens… Read more

Which section for a concert is better to see from, 405 or 428?

Both of those sections are really high up and down opposite lines depends where the stage is set up. Concerts that I've been too there (50 Cent, NAS, Daughtry) all of the stages have been set up at 2nd base so it would be really hard to see from any… Read more

We made a reservation at Champions restaurant, but (Scam - they take your credit card for a reservation even though only courtside tickets are allowed to dine here) we were not able to eat there. I didn't like how we had to wait to get past the gates, they hold you there until after 6pm for the evening matches. Then, of course, the crowd rushes for the food, the bathrooms, and the shops and as a result, you can't do much of anything. Still, I had a delicious lobster roll from the food kiosks (Red Hook Lobster Pound). Inside Arthur Ashe, the seating was great, there were plenty of bathrooms and food options, and with the screens, you could see everything. What I didn't like, was the constant seat switching by people trying to get better seats. I suppose this happens at stadiums everywhere, but since you are supposed to be in your seat for play to start, this was so annoying to see people going up and down the stairs. Still, we got to see some great tennis, and the vibes here are great. It took forever to get to the ride share pickup (this needs better signage) and we walked quite a ways in the dark.

I saw lots of high end restaurants lile Coqadoq and FUKU and Eataly. Not your run of the mill fast food. It's very pricey though($8 for a soda). Don't believe they permit outside food. Inside the stadium itself, ithe seats were clean. Not super comfortable but pretty standard stadium seats . I liked how before the start of the game they televised the player rules. As someone who doesn't follow tennis closely this was a nice refresh. I'm not sure that I've seen this at other sports games I've been to. All in all I enjoyed my experience at Asher Ashe. We saw a ladies singles where Jasmine Paolini was playing against Aiava, Destanee, none of whom I had heard of. It was a straight forward match with Paolini winning in straight sets. The main event was Medvedev vs a very unknown Benjamin Bonzi and what a match it turned out to be. Firrst of all most of the support was for Medvedev, but Bonzi ended up winning the first two sets. As he was serving for the match on a second serve, out of nowhere a cameraman walked onto the court. This hot the referee to award Bonzi a first serve, but Medvedev just lost it and created a whole commotion, first with the referee and then with the crowd who was very much behind him at that point. There was so much noise that play stopped for seven minutes as the crowd just roared non stop. This shook Bonzi so much that he ended up losing that set and even the next set 0-6 only to recover and beat Medvedev 6-4 in the final set. He did ended up getting a lot of support after that incident as they all felt sorry for him. It was a historic match, where Medvedev ended up getting fined 42K for his antics. We definitely got our money worth after all that excitement and watching a historic moment. The whole atmosphere, facilities, staff, stadium, cleanliness food was excellent.

Then there was a dance act, where the female dancer was in a thong..doing all kinds of naughty splits with her vagina all up in her partner face. I don't mind these things, but this is a kid friendly show. My Daugther's eyes popped out of her head & she asked me "Why did she put her Totiko(Vagina) in his face?LMAO!

Like a lot of others, I am a…read morebig fan of history and do wish that they kept the old stadium around...that being said our game day experience was pretty good! Our first order of business was visiting monument park right as gates opened at 5:30 since it closes before first pitch. Best access is entering in through Gate 8, and surprisingly there was no line for a Friday evening game! This is a must for any baseball fan and you can see all of the retired Yankee numbers along with a monument plaque for greats. We also had a good field and dining experience. Tried the angry lobster roll, grub and tub chicken bucket, and ice cream chicken bucket. The chicken was alright, nothing too amazing but it is a lot of fries and a good amount of tendies. Pretty decent value for $23 since it comes with a souvenir drink. Lobster roll was great! I really liked the seasoning, and it came with a side of chips too. The real highlight was the ice cream chicken bucket! The hype is real with this one! Each drumstick was made intricately with yummy cornflake coating and the chocolate pretzel bone is a great touch. Seating in the 212 section was pretty fun. The Yanks are doing great right now so the energy in the crowd was amazing. We went crazy during Ben Rice's homer! Only downside was some people got a bit too crazy and threw up right behind my wife's seat...not great but it is what it is I guess. We enjoyed walking around the stadium, talking to fans, and taking in all the different views while getting our food. The one thing I'd say is that while our experience was good, can't help but feel the stadium lacks a bit of character. The concourse is just okay compared to most other modern stadiums, and there aren't many things other than monument park and the Yankee museum that make the place stand out. The great hall is cool, but you don't really spend much time there. It's a good stadium, but I feel like there were some missed opportunities during construction that could have put it in the upper echelon of MLB ballparks.

The bar is set high for ball parks because Kyle was a baseball player(lefty/first baseman,a relief pitcher) who missed his Junior and Senior year during Covid. Although lifelong Giants fan, who gets frequent field access and fantastic seats because his dad is a sports medicine/ ortho specialist who once worked for the St Louis Cardinals( as well as the Rams and the Blues). I digress because I am me ( also nobody tell my deceased father that we were here because the lifelong Brooklyn Dodger fan would have been heartbroken! I would have given Yankee Stadium four stars , based on ease of access from the subway, cute concession stand souvenirs ( the stadium cup and chicken finger bucket are being fashioned into an Easter basket for my nephew!) and cleanliness of restrooms. Also Aaron Judge hit home run within ten minutes of the game starting. Even though I am Yelp Elite Squad, Kyle's comments ( I hate Queens! This stadium is cool, but sucks compared to the Giants stadium!" and our new subway bestie pointing out how superior the old stadium was. sooo - Three stars for you based mostly on the impression made on Kyle. In 1960 the space was converted for concerts and live events. The place feels special, previously hosting iconic groups like the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Rolling Stones. Its electric vibe still carries strong today. Tonight Shawn Mendes long awaited show did not disappoint. He lite up the night with all his fav's and even took to the crowd to add next level with his Houdini appearance mid show. As he pop out of nowhere into the upper tier crowd and surprised everyone. Many people were eating on the dirty ground as there are not enough tables. I was lucky to get a seat. Food prices were standard venue price gouging - $20 for chicken tenders etc. There are ample vegan and vegetarian options too. There's a massive amount of bathrooms that are clean. This is a huge win for a venue like this. The bleacher seating isn't the most comfortable and I wish that was actual seats with backs. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly. The train situation when the concert ends isn't great. Not sure why the LIRR entrances were closed so we wound up walking to the E train. I'd come back to this venue if someone else I like performs.
