Parking for Mulan (with validated ticket by Mulan): During Dim Sum: $5/2 hrs During Dinner: Free parking, up to 3 hrs. I've parked here a few times and have never had a problem. Yes, sometimes they get very busy and you have to wait for your car. But with these rates, I'll be back. Note that regular parking rates are higher without the validated tickets by New Mulan.

In fact, I didn't want to use it in the first place but my travel companion insisted that we put our car somewhere safe - because she didn't trust the streets of Flushing and all the tow trucks that were hovering around. I assured her it was fine but eventually gave in and used this awful deck. So there were actually no spaces inside (a common problem). Once we finally got one (after about 25 mins of waiting), I found a guy getting ready to write me a ticket while I was paying. Don't worry. He will think twice about such behaviour in future. There is no sense of customer service and the pricing is double what it was the first time I used it. At least it exists, hence it doesn't get 1 star.

This parking experience was literally the worst parking lot experience I have ever had living in New York City . The company changed since they renovated the parking lot and I was not aware that there is a camera system installed rather than having to go through an app like the last parking company. The signage is unclear that you need to do nothing besides drive in and you will automatically start being charged. Because it was unclear we went to the guy in the booth who was literally the most unprofessional and uneducated individual I have ever interacted with. He refused to open the glass to answer a question. He sat there with an attitude, and proceeded to start cursing and threatening us when we asked him to respond. I'm honestly shocked at how this individual was hired for any job.... Following this experience when you leave the parking lot, the company sends you a survey to which I expressed my concern with the experience. But unfortunately, they never followed up, even though this behavior was completely unprofessional by any standard. I highly recommend looking for other parking lots in the area and not defaulting here because the experience is so severely poor with their customer service that I can only imagine if anything happened to your vehicle how they would treat the scenario. All of that being said for those parking here for the first time and for this company specifically , you just drive in and your license plate gets scanned and when you drive out you get charged for the time you were parked in the location (you get a text with details) which is convenient in comparison to having to use an app or anything like that but again, even with this convenience, I highly recommend staying away from this facility. Metropolis please do better with your employee training as well as your response to customer concerns because there's no point of sending a survey (having customer waste time filling it out) and then not following up on issues.
