Definitely arrive there 30 minutes prior, since they load up the bus pretty early and leaves about 2 minutes early and the bus driver was pretty nice.

He was very knowledgeable of the fleet and helpful choosing the right vehicles. He was reliable with communication as things transpired throughout the day. We needed a party bus for the bachelorette party and John the driver was such fun -so friendly and professional. We are not from the area so he was a big help with locations too! We also needed day of transportation: for our guests we had a shuttle between the hotels and reception and Andrew was polite and friendly. He was also flexible with a time change! We booked a trolley for the wedding party between the ceremony and reception...off to pics and back again. Not only was it super cute in the pics but Cory was terrific also dealing with the heat that day! Finally the bride and groom rode in a sedan to their hotel...Matt was on time and patiently waited until the couple was ready to leave!! We booked a Christmas Light tour for our family and were so excited to have all 16 together in one…read morevehicle to see the lights. When asked about the ride, we were given two options between an older bus and a newer one. So we chose the newer one. When the driver arrived, before we took off, I asked if we could play Christmas music and the driver told me I could Bluetooth to the stereo which would have been perfect. We could not Bluetooth- the driver did not know how to do it, and couldn't add a device so we listened to the radio Christmas channel and all the ads and commercials. When I came time to look at lights, all of the windows were fogged over. The driver gave us a towel to wipe down our windows but as soon as you would wipe, they were covered in condensation again. There was one towel for all the windows- which after Wiping down the first two large windows, was soaked- and didn't do much for the rest of the windows on the bus. In 2.5 hours we made three stops to look at lights. We love the beaverdale area, but the driver only went down one street instead of both. The rest of the time we were driving the whole time on the interstate or down back roads through neighborhoods that did not have lights. We were very disappointed- we wanted to play fun songs to get the kids excited between stops, and expected more lights/stops. For the money spent (not at all cheap) we all walked away feeling very disappointed and looking for a different way to do this next year. I would never spend the money again with this company for the Christmas Lights Tour.

Luxxor was able to give me a decent price, and the driver Joe was excellent. He was early, had the car nice and pre-heated for me (an important thing to do on a cold Iowa morning!), offered to stop and get me coffee and got me to the airport with plenty of time to spare. The car was clean, well maintained and he had water waiting, as well. I appreciate the easy process to request the quote on line and the ability to accommodate such an early last minute pickup time.

I had reserved a party bus for my wedding in Ames on July 9th. I called them the night before to…read moreconfirm the bus. They never showed. When I sent them an email - Steve Casteel talked down to me and said that I gave them the wrong address and never told them the location of the church. Wrong address - The address I gave was what I found on the church website but google maps directed them out of the way. Google obviously failed them here because if they looked around they would notice that they weren't anywhere near the number address of the church (2622 vs 5910 lincoln way). I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if I were the driver in this situation, knowing that I was looking for a church and directed to this area I would have called someone to get to the bottom of this. I never got a call from them. Finally in the same email Steve said that no where in the contract or emails did I mention the name of the church. Well, how is it my fault that the contract doesn't have a line for "what's the name of the place we're picking you up from?" Thank goodness I talked them into not charging me but I would never recommend them to anyone. I know for a fact a friend of my brother also had a terrible experience with them when organizing a bar crawl and wanted to use their services. That's why I called the night before to ensure that they were coming. They fail.

We wanted to make sure we had a great time on our Clearwater Beach vacation so we made sure to start it out right with stress free transportation to the airport!!!!
