The air handler is in the attic above the garage. Peter DIDN'T EVEN GO INTO THE ATTIC to look at the air handler. He told me to call the hvac company I had out a couple days prior to ask what kind of power the air handler needs. The hvac company said there's a tag on the air handler so all this idiot needed to do was LOOK AT THE AIR HANDLER which is what I was paying him to do. He arbitrarily told me it would cost $2,500 to fix the issue and he DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT THE AIR HANDLER TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH IT. Peter also told me I need to rewire my entire house and that it would cost $20k. He tried to pressure me into giving him a decision about the $20k on the spot stating his schedule is filling up - MASSIVE red flag. He also pointed out a number of other issues he wanted to charge me to fix that didn't need fixing. Instead, I hired an electrician who does the electrical work for a home builder who builds 400+ homes/year (they are a former client of a family member). Not only did the LOOK AT THE AIR HANDLER, but they fixed the electric AND the air conditioning and for a fraction of the cost of the arbitrary number Peter gave me. They also confirmed the tens of thousands of dollars Peter tried to get me to spend with him was utterly unnecessary. Peter is apparently the owner of this company - he is very young and inexperienced and VERY LAZY. BEWARE because HE IS A CON ARTIST so PLEASE DON'T GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS GUY. I filed a complaint with the BBB and he is lying to the BBB and arguing with me. This business needs to be permanently shut down before they con people out of tens of thousands of dollars. I needed several installs pendant lights, a ceiling fan, and vanity lights but most companies either dragged their feet on quotes or gave me "I don't want to do this" pricing. One competitor, Mr. Mighty Electric, quoted me 3x the rate and charged a trip fee just to look at the place! Boz (the owner) was a true professional from the start. He came out for a walkthrough the same week I called, took detailed notes, and was incredibly respectful (he even took his shoes off without being asked). He promised a quote the next day and delivered a very reasonable, detailed estimate. On installation day, Boz arrived on time with three workers, gave them a clear game plan, and specifically instructed them to minimize wall damage to save me from extra painting. The crew was fantastic they checked in with me on heights for the fan and pendants before finalizing anything. They worked for 8 hours and the result was outstanding. I was so happy with the quality that I tipped the whole crew. If you want fair pricing and high quality work, call Highlights. I'll be using them for every future project!

My generator needed its annual maintenance and the company that was supposed to come out and service it, Precision, cancelled on me 3 times!! I was totally fed up with Precision so searched online and Generac had MPower contact me. Shannon was extremely nice and very professional and set up an appointment for the very next day! Adam, the technician, arrived at the scheduled time, went over what he was going to do, answered my questions and got right to work. Afterwards, he again went over what he had done and even gave me a few helpful tips. He also was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend MPower to anyone looking for servicing on their generators.

We bought a 20kW Kohler generator in December of 2013. The engine was bad out of the box…read more Supposedly, the distributor checks the units before shipping? It took over two months for MPower to get a new one installed. Second unit ran fine on the weekly exercise cycle until early June, when it stopped due to a low voltage error. I called to speak to Paul, one of the owners and the gentleman that sold me the unit. I was told that he left the company. Pity, as Paul was first class. Charlie told me that he would come out to check the error. Nick arrived, instead of Charlie. Nick found the error code in the logs, but could not duplicate it. He said that they could not honor the 5 year warranty, since Kohler would not reimburse them unless he could duplicate the error. I was charged $135 for the service call. I told both Charlie and Nick that I should have been advised of their policy up front, since I expected the call to be covered by the warranty. They would not remove the charge. I suspect that this company is in big trouble. Their principal partner has left, and the others have no clue what customer service is. I will not use this company again.
