Catering by Marlowes and access to some really fantastic reserve beer makes it worth the extra money. Not much of a crowd inside the tent, but after they opened the gates, lines started piling up quick. Still, no waits more than a couple minutes, unless you wanted to use the VIP bathrooms. They really needed more... BTW, if you had a problem with traffic or parking, it's because you didn't take Uber. It's a BEER FEST; don't drive!!! We won't make the mistake of missing this event again...

Parking: Free but the catch is you have to find a free space...With an estimated 58,000 people expected to attend over 3 days you can imagine parking spots are competitive but this is where being at North Point Mall has its advantages...We parked over by the multi level parking garage by JCPenny and just walked over. The festivities took place near the American Girl Doll's store front. This year with over 200 vendors there is a little of everything from funnel cake to boba tea to Jamaican jerk chicken to Korean BBQ. The only country I thought missing was Taiwanese xiao long bao but that's okay I can eat those any day of the week. There are plenty of security and if you see someone eating something that looks good you can just go up and ask them they'll point you to it... If you have young kids you will appreciate all the games and activities that they have specifically for kids....We had a great time and hope you can make it too....

Wasn't going to hold my breath as with anything new and interesting there was most likely going to be massive crowds and tons of curious people. After thinking about it... I think for such a huge event and soooo many people slamming it packed. I feel like it was a success. Was it like any night market I've went to overseas? Not particularly, but in some ways a little bit. The event didn't just take place at night, but also during most of the day and over the course of a weekend. Having it during the day made it so hot while being stuck in an open parking lot. By the time night arrived a good many vendors were sold out of food. Some places you had to wait in line for hours to get anything from them. Honestly, lines are what made this such a pain. There were just too many people. If the night market was a nightly thing or something similar then I doubt lines like this would be an issue, but I really don't think it could retain the same feel and momentum either. On the bright side, got to sample a variety of great food and wished I was able to grab more. Was super disappointed in a pineapple drink I got.. I was expecting it to be cold and it was grossly lukewarm. Otherwise, food was great! Had a good evening with friends and chilled around the area until later into the night. Would probably do this again if they decide to do another.

However, there's limited spots. So, arrive early and be patient because you might have to cruise the lot several times. The show promptly started on time, which I appreciated. Anu & Ash performed to s sold out crowd! The bar offers fairly priced snacks, as well as non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Pack your patience if you need to use the restroom because there's only two single unisex restrooms. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would return to enjoy another performance.

The hostess was funny during the preshow and the shadow cast did a great job. I really liked the prop gags they did during the movie that I haven't really seen at other productions. However, there were several cast dispersed around the audience yelling lines from what seems to be a mix of the more traditional audience participation script and one of LDOD's own organically grown quips from 25 years of shows. From what I could understand of what they were saying, it was funny, but they almost never yelled together in a comprehensible way so I couldn't understand about 70% of the jokes, and the dead space of the movie that offered the best time for the audience to actually participate and add they're own jokes was saturated with the cacophony of the cast. Unfortunately, overall, it seemed like the joke barkers were more worried about being loud and playing for they're own cast and friends than they were for the audience at large and didn't take into consideration a more coordinated effort to be understood. I feel like it would be more effective if the group of encouragers were all next to each other so they could hear each other and make their words more understandable. Also, while it's not standard, it would probably go a long way, if able, to add subtitles for the movie so it's more accessible to first timers and hard of hearing.

This time around, my experience was such a positive one! To start, the plushies were more consistently stocked throughout all the machines! You can tell that they were well-kept and were continually restocking the plushies. Second, the pay-out on these machines were updated to make all players feel like winners(on both the small and big claw machines) Regardless, if I felt like I was ever on a "bad streak", it seemed to end relatively quickly. I felt JOYFUL as my dopamine levels spiked, every time I saw a plushies fall into the hole. Third, I felt like a kid again! I'm so happy the owners were able to make adjustments and make it a fun environment to come with your friends/kids and have a good time! I'll definitely be back in the future!

These ladies know how to belly dance!…read more We had the pleasure of seeing them perform at Nicola's Restaurant in their first full length show and they did not disappoint! They had a troupe of dancers of every experience level there and their dancing incorporates a little burlesque, tribal, belly dancing, jazz/funk and probably almost every other kind of dancing! They used fire, swords, silk sheets and of course all the normal belly dance accouterments that you might know like scarves, coin chains, bindhi's and so on. The dancers all performed wonderfully and were mesmerizing to watch. Oracle and Carolanne were my personal favorites to watch because it seemed like they really got into their routines (not that the others didn't mind you, but these two really seemed to have a knack for moving their hips in just the right way you would think of a belly dancer moving!) They did two "sets" with each set comprised of about 8 different dances with all different dancers circulating between the dance numbers. These ladies truly know how to work a room. Everyone was watching intently, mesmerized you might say, and everyone looked as if they were having a great time. At the end of their show, they let everyone get out in the middle of the room and dance to the music. Oh, and the music was great as well! Some very nice middle eastern themed music for some of the numbers, but they also had some Squirrel Nut Zippers and one song from Godsmack (Voodoo! One of my favorites!) I would highly recommend checking these ladies out when they have another show! They are worth watching!

They are not strictly classical belly dancing, and that really works for them. Dance is a form of expression, of communication. They drew the crowd in with traditional middle eastern belly dance to more contempory music, still belly dance...but completley fun loving. Check them out in Lawrenceville.
