I saw Echo in Redmond, Washington last night. It was absolutely wonderful. I've never been to a performance I didn't enjoy. Last night was the first time I did the VIP Experience. It was so worth it. From the moment our experience began, the customer service was impeccable. The staff was so very friendly, welcoming, funny and cared that your experience was beyond what you might expect. The food was so delicious. I was grateful that they had multiple choices since I am a vegan. I've been spoiled. Being a VIP is the way to go. Thank you @Echo_CirqueDuSoleil.

I am happy to say I went to see KOOZA recently. I've watched about 10 Cirque Du Soleil shows, this is my 1st in Seattle. The location at Marymoor Park is terrifc with plenty of parking. I was entertained by the silly, funny story for the show. The performers were very talented and impressive. I recommend seing it before the show run ends next month.

Cirque du Soleil KOOZA is at Marymoor park. It's a Great show for all ages. A little spendy but kids love it. Easy parking and it's in a safe environment. They perform through March 16.

I've been wanting to see a Cirque Du Soleil show for quite some time and am so thankful we got the chance to see 'VOLTA'. The entire show was so mesmerizing and fun. The cast did a fabulous job keeping the crowd engaged and entertained. Each performance was so wonderfully calculated - from the music, costumes, color, imagery etc. you could tell the talent on stage and behind the scenes. My favorites included the colorful costumes, gymnastics, social commentary and the woman hung by her hair dancing so beautifully in the air. This is a MUST see for all ages!

Thanks Yelp for our tickets! Volta was definitely a great show. The performances and acts were very high energy, but the live music and the singers really elevated this show. I can only compare this show to the Luzia show, which was more story telling, beautiful costumes and the stage is breathtaking. Volta is high energy focusing in stunts and acrobatics/ gymnastics. My friend really liked the comedian between show. He was really good as well. This show was seen in Marymoor Park. Parking is $20, they take cash and cards. Selling movie theater food with a high price tag. They serve alcohol and wine as well (I cried in the inside when I saw how small my wine cup was for $14). We opt to upgrade our free tickets for $10 each. Seriously, we didn't have to. We were surprised how central the stage was and even with the seats in the way back, they stage feels really close and you can see everything!

Great view from seats a little more than halfway up.

Another spectacular show by Cirque Du Soleil filled with daring acts, beautiful costumes and a hopeful underlying message! Volta inspires viewers to embrace the inner free-spirit and individuality that lies within each of us. The story-line follows a character who we learn through video flashbacks has been a "dreamer" since childhood, but is now outcast by members of the conformist society due to his differences. His encounter with the Free Spirits take him on a journey of self-acceptance to find true happiness. While the show was extremely captivating, the transitions between acts were not as fluid as I have seen in previous Cirque performances. However, perhaps that is the intent as to tie in with the "free-spirit" theme since it added an element of surprise and definitely kept me engaged. Nevertheless, I loved it all! The performances included aerial acts, a synchronized trampoline piece, an energetic BMX routine and "shape diving" just to name a few. You also won't believe your eyes when one woman flies around the stage by the mere strength of just her hair! I'm always astonished at how the performers make every move look effortless and the level of precision involved in the choreography. Between performances, a solo actor took the stage twice and delivered an entertaining pantomime-type of act that provided segments of comedic-relief. My only real gripe is that unfortunately, the show ended very abruptly following the BMX routine without closure to the overall story-line, leaving it open to interpretation. I really appreciated their use of the rotating stage throughout the show which allows for great views all around. I recommend choosing seats somewhere within top two-thirds of the theater since you'll be able to see the entire stage and all the action. We sat within the top one-third to the left side of the stage and could easily see everything. Note: For those bringing small children, they offer booster seats! While I enjoyed their Luzia and Kurios productions a bit more, Volta is the most uplifting and heart-warming out of the three. I'm already looking forward to the next time the Grand Chapiteau arrives in Seattle! As a final note, the portable bathrooms are clean with "plumbing" (they flush!) and actual sink stations! 4.75 stars.

Cirque Du Soleil always seems to deliver great shows that are entertaining, exciting, exhilarating, and fresh. The dazzling lights, fantastic music, colorful costumes, and incredible acrobatics keeps you on the edge of your seat. Volta is certainly different than other recent shows, with less mechanical showmanship, but far more performer action. In fact, at some points there's so much exciting action going on with multiple performers, covering just about the entire stage that it's almost (but not too much do) sensory overload. As a personal observation, I think Volta hits a great mix of theatrics that's good for all viewers, children to adult. It's relevant for the times, and I think brilliant marketing for future generations. Great family outing! As a side note, they offer upgraded seats for a little more money. The upgraded seats are still tight, but are certainly more comfortable and located in the premium sections.

Entertaining show with very talented performers! Facility sucked tho My thoughts on the show itself: Overall, great show with beautiful theming and music. I felt the show could've been a lot stronger without the intro--the "Wow" game show part. It was cheesy and not that enthralling. As soon as Waz, the main character, was laughed off the game show and the *REAL* performance started, I regained my interest and attention. My favorite scenes were the hair girl and the bicyclists: HAIR GIRL: I have never seen a person hang by her hair AND do insane acrobatic tricks like spin and float around the stage. I could not believe my eyes and I'm pretty sure I said "what the heck" maybe a thousand times during this scene. Honestly this scene alone made the whole show worth it. I went home and tried to recreate this but I couldn't. Guess I don't have strong enough hair :( BICYCLISTS: The bicyclists were insanely talented as well. I kept worrying they were going to crash into each other but they continued to do flips and tricks on their bikes. I also enjoyed the clown scenes, especially the washing machine part. I laughed a lot, probably more than the kids in the audience. My thoughts on the facility (Marymoor): okay sorry the facility sucked so much. They tried to charge $20 for parking!!! In Redmond! Where there's so much land you could roll around in grass for miles and miles and not hit anything! The worst part was they directed all traffic towards the parking lot without mention the $20 fee until it was too late to turn around. PRO TIP: there is free parking around the park, you just have to find it. We went behind the baseball stadium towards the exit of the park, right by the stop sign, and only walked 10 min to the venue. Another thing that sucked about the facility: they offered $10 upgrades on-site to the premium seats directly in front of the stage. I'd highly recommend this, as it made a huge difference (everyone was cheering and clapping in this section and the energy was super fun). HOWEVER the upgrades cost the same before and after intermission, so if you're going to upgrade, do it at the beginning of the show to get your money's worth! Additionally, they didn't check your tickets to see if you actually upgraded, as a cheap couple next to us illegally sat in our section. So, you could potentially get away with it, but for $10 a ticket... just buy the dang thing! Overall, would recommend. Volta is definitely not one of the high-quality classic Cirque shows, but it's not the worst. For context, Ka is my all time favorite, and I'd rank Volta at the same tier as Zumanity.

The woman attached by her hair. SO COOL

What an amazing show. First off, you can't have a bad seat...the theater is a circle, so no matter what side you're on, you're going to see the stage without a problem. (Unless you have a tall person in front of you, but that's my problem.) Did you know that VOLTA means turn in Italian? You will see a TON of turning, spinning....these performers lead dizzy lives. :) There was a great storyline to VOLTA, something I don't recall from seeing other Cirque shows. I recall a theme, but not a story. It was of a young boy reflecting on memories of his past. Oftentimes, you'd see a clip of a mom teaching a boy to ride a bike, which led into amazing BMX daredevils performing. Or a unicycle. The music was unique and beautiful. The dancing was emotional and touching. The performers were so spot on, they made it look easy. The timing had to be perfect on so many of these acts because otherwise they'd be crashing into each other and making a mess of things. Some unique things I've never seen before: the trampoline performances...but kiddo loved it! And there was also a woman that seemed to be connected to the sky by her hair? It was like she was levitating, it was nuts! A common pair that I remember from other Cirque shows is the pair of men that balance on each other to do crazy, insane stunts. This time, imagine them in the air. With no safety nets or restraints. Stunning. Scary. Amazing. Hands down recommend this show, wherever it may be. These performers are insanely talented and put on a helluva show.

Leaving after the Sun had set. Entire look of tents and atmosphere changed with lighting.

Impressive, Unique, Elite - From the time I saw the well designed tents, to the uniformed, enthusiastic staff, even the merch & concessions, the circular light trimmed stage in an atmosphere small enough to house all good seats, then the extravagant, colorful, personalized costumes, their physiques, athleticism, love of what they are doing, and the fact that they have worked a life time to achieve such. TALENT! It is worth the cost. Just Go!

The Scene I was a guest here for a five year old girls birthday from 1-3 PM. The child's class was invited and it was a mix of girls and boys. The format was, sit in a circle, introduce each other, start practicing lyrics and gestures to a song. Kids all go to the bathroom as a group. Eat Pizza / Fruit / Cake. Parents stand in a line behind a table. Performance of two songs. Some observations: Some kids were warmer uppers, like mine. They suggested I could sit in the circle with my kiddo to help her get acclimated. We were 6 minutes late. I did sit for a bit, but had to move to a chair. I did suggest my kid go and talk to a teacher and that seemed to help. There were two boys who kept playing outside the circle and not paying attention and following the rules. I was a bit bothered by this and am not sure what should have happened. 1. I wondered why the parents weren't encouraging their kids to participate. Was it because they were boys? And boys don't need to participate and follow instructions? 2. Why weren't the teachers trying to encourage the boys to participate? Were they assuming that because this was Disney princesses they wouldn't want to? All in all, I can't see everyone ignoring two girls not paying attention and doing their own thing and distracting the group. I feel like boys should be looked after and encouraged just as much as girls. While yes, the parents should have maybe done something, in situations like this, I try not to jump in, and assume the people who are being paid to run a two our event can work to include everyone. Loved that they had all of the kids go to the bathroom. Smart. One of the teachers seemed new, and didn't quite know the songs, she was looking at the more experienced teacher most of the time for guidance. I could see this made the students not know if they should look at her, or look at the obvious leader. Thought they could have done one dress rehearsal before showing the parents. Only one boy participated out of a group of aprox 25. 5-6 boys stood there. To me, this is a failure of inclusion.
