Parking- this is where the lost star rating comes in. It's a really small parking lot and there are only 4 designated 'free' spaces. Any other spots within the lot were a $15 fee through cash or zelle. When I walked in there was a class already in session and our party assembled in a small room at the back of the studio. Everything else about my experience (other than parking) was great! I loved how supportive the instructor was to ensure that we are not only getting the most out of our experience but was doing so in the safest way possible. I had a bit of a challenge with some maneuver as an anxious first timer but I know for sure I'll definitely be back to this studio if the opportunity presents itself but for sure other local studios with similar aerial fitness classes. I love that it wasn't a mixed group, we were able to just laugh, be in community and celebrate our friend! All this to say- highly recommended!!

I was greeted by the instructor and assigned a spot. The class was mixed with experienced patrons to a couple of us newbies. The instructor did a nice job of working with everyone at their level. This is a WORKOUT but I felt supported and was able to push myself and complete multiple poses in my own. I felt sore all over the next day which to me is a sign of a good workout!

Hana is a fantastic teacher covering beginner to advanced classes and able to fluidly adjust depending on class size and participant capabilities. Both the trapeze classes and aerial silk classes provide physical challenge, strengthening, flexibility and more. After a month of taking classes here, my body and my mind both feel much stronger. The studio has a number of classes that use silks that hang from the ceiling for various classes. Although I was not there for that type of class it looks like a great class to try in the future. The owner of the studio was so welcoming and open her studio for the sound meditation event. If you haven't been to a sound meditation it has to be one of my favorite experiences. It was an hour and 15 minutes where you relax laying down on a mat as the instructor plays metal bowls which create a vibration that goes through body. At the end of the class I left the studio completely relaxed. Thank you to Katrina that led the class such an amazing experience.

Aerial yoga is no joke but super fun and luckily I was in a class full of other first timers so it wasn't too intimidating or fast paced. Their HIIT class allows you to incorporate some weights and bands to make it even more of a challenge, along with the room already being hot. The Power Yoga class is NOT for the weak so prepare to sweat and get into some tougher poses. The Barre class took me by surprise as I assumed we'd be doing some ballerina-ish movements, it was more similar to a Zumba class and Liz's energy makes it super enjoyable. I had the pleasure of booking with each one of the instructors and I can confidently say each person was a delight. They have a good amount of free parking, but I would show up no earlier than 10 minutes before so that you can take the parking spaces of the previous class right once they leave. The studio feels very homey upon entering and I love the no shoe policy upon arrival. There's cubbies right outside of the heated room where you can put your phone & other belongings. Overall, I'm happy to know this studio offers classes beyond just hot yoga. It's conveniently located nearby Downtown Hollywood and they're open all 7 days of the week which is great! 1-Star -- Extremely disappointing treatment after 13+ years as a member…read more I've been an LA Fitness member for over 13 years and have the higher-level membership that allows me to bring guests. I have been bringing my girlfriend with me regularly, and today was no different. We both checked in normally, including scanning her registered guest barcode. I had to briefly go back outside to my car because I had forgotten my gym bag. While I was going outside, a manager came running to the entrance and told my girlfriend that she could not stay inside because I was no longer in the club and that she needed to leave. I understand that there may be a policy requiring the primary member to accompany their guest, and if that's the rule, that's fine. My issue is the way it was handled. There was absolutely no reason for this to become a public confrontation. My girlfriend was spoken to in front of other members in a way that was extremely embarrassing and humiliating. She became so upset that she started crying. We ultimately decided to leave the gym altogether rather than continue our workout. After being a loyal member for more than 13 years, I expect basic professionalism, respect, and customer service from management. Policies can absolutely be enforced without making a member or their guest feel publicly humiliated. What makes this even more disappointing is that I have been coming to this location and using my membership for years. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. Instead, the way this was handled completely ruined our experience and caused us both to leave without working out. LA Fitness needs to do better when it comes to how its managers communicate with long-term members and their guests.

I have been trying for weeks to resolve an issue with the Personal Training department at LA…read moreFitness North Miami, and I have been met with nothing but silence, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability. Throughout my membership, I experienced repeated trainer no-shows, inconsistent scheduling, poor communication, and a complete disregard for my time. After these ongoing issues, I requested to cancel my personal training agreement and receive a refund for services that were not delivered as promised. Since then, I have spent weeks calling Corporate Customer Relations, emailing, and following every instruction I have been given. Corporate Customer Relations and HR have both told me that the only person who can approve my cancellation is the District Manager, Jesus. The problem is that he has never contacted me despite repeated requests and follow-ups. I have been waiting for weeks with no response or resolution. No customer should have to spend weeks chasing management just to receive a response. It is unacceptable that a company of this size allows one unresponsive manager to prevent the resolution of a legitimate customer complaint. I expected professionalism, accountability, and respect. Instead, I have been passed from person to person with no resolution while continuing to worry about additional charges on my account. I am still requesting: * Immediate cancellation of my personal training agreement. * Confirmation that no additional payments will be processed. * A refund for the services that were not delivered as promised. If you are considering signing up for personal training at this location, I encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the level of customer service you are willing to accept. I sincerely hope LA Fitness corporate leadership takes responsibility and addresses the serious management and communication issues at this location.
