Unable to listen to simple orders. Forgot my brothers food off the order when it was clearly ordered. Their "subject to change without notice" policy for prices is ridiculous during this economy. Very poor establishment. Would avoid. read more

Small and a medium for nearly $50. Are you kidding me? A giant glob of uncooked dough with maybe 5 pieces of pepperoni and 5 or 6 strips of bell pepper. Been going here a long time. No more. Can't blame this one on Covid. read more

One star because they charge $30 dollars for a 20in pizza after hours or "late night" . The menu says $20. What a rip off. read more

Circle Pizza - Reciept of late night charge - Pizza Near Me - Avalon, New Jersey

I know everyone is raising prices now but $32 for a 16-inch buffalo chicken pizza is outrageous. It's decent but not as good as the $27 one at 7-Mile Pies. Sad what Circle has become. read more

Went there for the first time and ordered a simple cheese pizza. Paid 25 bucks and waited in the restaurant and was never called....50 minutes later I check and found it had been ready. Found it was cold. Got a refund. Don't waste your time and money. read more

Late night must eat, but be warned, the quality of the food depends on the hour you're here (and the amount of alcohol in your system!). I'm giving 3 stars because as I stumble out of the bar across the street I would give it 5 stars, but I've tried slices before walking in and when I'm sober I'd only give them 1 star: At 2:30 am after a night of drinking, these slices are good enough to pay the $20 per pie they charge at the window...you will throw down 3-4 greasy and hot slices while your friends fight you for more of the pie. If it's lunch time or an early dinner and you've only got 1-2 drinks in you, it's like eating soggy cardboard with ketchup and sawdust on top...what's that you say, no alcohol in your system??? then don't even attempt to eat a slice! read more

The pizza here is so wack, so do not go here aiming for a dope slice of jersey shore za. Crust is blah, sauce is tasteless, slices are under-cheesed. Drunkies roll up to Circle in masses after a sweaty P / Whitebrier session looking for a $20 pie, when they really should be heading Tonio's on 24th, which is now open late. ** Cheesesteak egg rolls here are weirdly tasty after a long drinking sesh... read more

Surprisingly bad. $12 for 2 slices of barely warm greasy pizza and a fountain drink. Won't be back.

Omg we have been loyal customers since 1997. This evening I ordered a 20" cheese pizza and onion rings online and paid w my cc... 45 min wait, then another 20 mins as my husband sat at the pick up counter. And to add insult to injury they gave him a cold left over cheese pizza obviously from lunch that didn't sell and burnt onion rings!!! NEVER EVER COMING BACK!!!! You don't deserve loyalty and you obviously don't care. I will take my business anywhere else. And we are not renters, we are owners down every weekend during summer and lots of off season time. DONT DONT DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE BECAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT CARE!!!! Try Stone Harbor Pizza or any other place that would love to have repeat business. You've been warned so don't waste your money or time. read more

Friendly and delicious at the same time! This pizza place converted-garage eatery is a great place for large groups of people to eat thin-crusted pizza with amazing cheese. Granted the pizzas are a bit greasy, but it's the good grease, seriously. If you appreciate NY style pizza, you will love this place given the distance you are from the Big Apple. The slices are priced average, sized average, and they are served by a friendly worker behind the counter, (at least at the time I was there). When a friend of mine asked for a soda cup, he was asked how many slices he ordered and after my friend said an unusually high number for a small person such as himself, the worker gave my friend the soda cup for free. I tried a plain cheese and an onion slice and both were delicious! read more

Seriously, it might be the worst pizza in NJ. The only reason and I mean the only reason to go here is that you pour out of the Princeton and can't stagger down the street to any other good pizza places or any other place to eat. I'm not sure what you'll regret more - your hangover the next day or the pizza you ate the night before. The pizza is flavored cardboard and even that is giving cardboard a bad name because the pizza is so inconsistently cooked you have no idea what you are getting. read more

I suppose this place survives because of its location and hours. I've had 6pm pizza, and I've had 3am pizza. Neither of them impressed me in the very least. Pretty low quality stuff here. And we're not even talking cheap. Two pies ran me over $40, and the one time we tried delivery was about an hour wait. Plain Cheese pizza's only after about midnight. I consider a successful night one in which I don't drink so much that I stop here. Unfortunately, I don't always succeed, but at the very least, I've never gotten food poisoning. That's something, right? read more

This is probably my favorite pizza place in Avalon. Their sauce is delicious, cheese is gooey, pizza is thin and crisp, what more to ask for? Their new renovation looks laid back and cool. Great staffs too! read more

Awesome I love the workers they are the best. They are always nice and they should be tipped heavily.

Great selection for gluten free items. I tried the Classic Italian with a gluten free roll. Excellent customer service by the employees to ensure my meal would fit my dietary needs. read more

Pizza was ok, but delivery was delayed. When we called to check on it we were rudely advised it was in route.

If you base a rating on the quality and taste of the food I'll give Circle pizza three stars. However the service is worthy of two stars at best. Summer beach kids having fun, not caring a ton. Had to ask for plastic ware, sauce, napkins, the salad dressing... you get the idea. Pizza and Stromboli were tasty. I'd go back but set Beach pizza shop expectations. read more

The buffalo chicken pizza is one of the best I have ever had. They are open late and sell pizza by the slice. If you're thinking of heading there for a slice I would suggest you call to see what they have if you're looking for one of their speciality slices. They will put one aside if you ask them too usually! read more

I saw the other Yelp reviews, and I still assumed that it couldn't be THAT bad. Oh my Ford, it was THAT bad. It was a FOURTY minute wait for a large plain pie. There was one person waiting ahead of us. And maybe two pizzas waiting for pickup behind the counter. What was going on back there? When I finally asked the fat blonde teenager behind the counter what was taking so long, he rolled his eyes and walked away to check. They wound up giving us one of the colder, older pizzas waiting for pickup. I took it just because I wanted to get my family out of there. Seriously. Bad. Don't go. Don't. read more

I have only been here in twice but both times were nothing special. First time I got the caprese panini (mozzarella, basil, tomato, balsamic drizzle) and the bread was so thick and stale I ended up just eating the filling which wasnt bad. The second time I went I got a turkey sub which wasn't bad but again did not like their bread. Also the lettuce was not cut thinly, felt like took the salad and put it on the sub. However, the turkey itself was tasty. Also - the guy working befind the counter didnt seem to know what he was doing - told me 'the turkey is really good - doesnt have any of that fake shit it in" lol not sure exactly what that means but ok.... overall - no interest in going back except I love the set up, with the open air feeling and out door seating. read more

BEST PIZZA EVER YOU GUYS But everything eles is average. The chicken parm and the Greek salad were good, but if your going to come here, stick with the pizza. The food was excelant, but they atmosphere was not. We sat on a dirty picnic table, and the floor was wet with soda, and no one bothered to pick it up. They lost another star for the drinks. No diet drinks, and you had to scoop your ice from a dirty bucket! (Most of the other drinks were out of order) Stick with the pizza read more

Circle Pizza - The horrible drink selection at circle pizza, they did have coke tho - Pizza Near Me - Avalon, New Jersey

This place sucks. went there hoping to get a late night snack was not allowed inside of the dining room. they charged me five dollars for one slice and a dollar for a side of ranch. employees were rude and not helpful AT ALL. The employees forgot to give me my change and were very rude when I went up to ask for it. overall one of the worst experiences ever. will not be coming back. EVER!!!! read more

Disrespectful and rude service. After purchasing 4 slices of pizza ($20) and kindly asked for a few cups of water, they flat out refused. Crossed arms and wouldn't make eye contact, continuing to argue we had to buy bottles, even though server had clear cups in hand prepared to give us water.... As paying customers of the restaurant and tax payers of the city, we feel it is ridiculous to deny such a small thing.... A simple cup of water could have helped us out and make the night tremendously better. Hope the owner is able to address this issue for future patrons... until hen I'd avoid this establishment and the rude night shift manager read more

This place is bad, even by Avalon standards. Outside of a drunk slice after the Whitebrier or Princeton, don't waste your time or money.

The cashier/employee who helped us did not wear gloves when touching our pizza. He handled our money at the register, then used his bare hands to wrestle our slices out of the pies. Not only is this gross, but violates restaurant health codes. This also raises covid-19 concerns. read more

I gave circle another chance mainly because nothing else on island was open. Yesterday my cheese steak rolls were all grease and gross, of the two I could only stomach one. Tonight I wanted pizza but Mack's was closed. I opted to give circle a chance since I stopped ordering pizza from them when they changed their sauce. Well... They did not fail to disappoint. I got an extra cheese pie. The pictures should tell all. And the taste was worse, if that's even possible. Their fries have even gone to the gulls. read more

50 minutes for a small overpriced pizza! They have the nerve to charge $15.50 for a 12" pizza with pepperoni. Not only did the pizza suck, the wait was outrageous . I watched as one after another potential customers walked out the door after waiting in line only to hear other customers grumble and complain about the wait. When I saw what I thought was the manager finally appear, the only thing he did was set up a fan and then disappear. How about pitching in and making some pizza's fool?! From what I could see, the pizza makers were kids on their own. Nobody telling them to at least make a few plain pizzas in advance. While waiting almost an hour for the crap pie, I saw them run out of slice pizza's at least twice. Crap management. Guess they are banking on the one and done customers and kids. I am one and done. This pizza is good, but the service is AWFUL. Avalon is a town all about friendly pizza and good service. Circle pizza defies that standard. It's a shame, they could do a lot more business with the general public if they had better service. read more

It is a shame. I have been going here since I was a kid. Went there this week (both a slice in house and 2 pies delivery) and the experience was terrible. The pizza was literally like frozen pizza. I have no idea how you can mess up pizza this bad. Additionally, I ordered some bread sticks. They were a quarter of a pizza pie dough thrown into the oven, with nothing on it, left to die a dry death. Wow was this bad stuff. Going elsewhere from now on. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I called tonight, yes the Friday of Memorial Day but they answered right away and when I placed my order for 4 pizzas at 6:59 they told me 45 minutes. We were given 25% off after calling at 8:17pm an hour and 2 min after our initial call! We should have also been given 20% off after waiting ALL that time!!!!
