Floors dirty. No stop to wash hands. All coffee machines out of coffee except 1 and only had enough for half a cup still was charged full price, even after I mentioned it to the cashier. He replied with oh no and then the price. Very rude and very not wanting to be there. Just an absolute disgusting place. I get it it's a highway gas station and is frequently used by truck drivers, but when you have enough staff at 9am to cover the store and these types of concerns you'd think it be covered. 2 weeks prior stopped for a fountain drink and they all were out except one flavor.

If you're heading north on I55 and happen to pull off at this exit that's what you'll find here! You can easily and quickly get in and out of this gas station and get right back on the Interstate and keep heading north. My mom lives a couple miles away so I was using this spot to pick up beer and yes they do have a freezing cold beer cave with tons of beer, and seltzers. Gas stations in IL can also sell liquor which is a nice convenience that we don't have down south and I made sure to take advantage of during this visit.

We found this gas station puts a place hold on your card of $200 and says the correct amount will show up in 1 to 5 days. This is unacceptable and, in my opinion, is a path to fraud. We have lived in this area for over 16 years and never have had this happen before; but now that it has happened to us, we researched this a little and found it is perfectly acceptable for these gas stations to charge you a lot more "temporarily" on your credit card even if you only got a few gallons of gas. It may be legal, but it is harmful. I see this as a chance to be fleeced by gas stations. We will NEVER go to this station again; but since it is near an interstate, I am sure they get a lot of people with their "place hold" practice. I wonder how many actually check and see if they actually get the correct amount on their bill - eventually?

Fabulous. Easy enough to access, after the work was done I went inside to purchase a cold drink and to use their restroom. It's a Circle K and they had a huge selection of snacks and drinks. Not just wine and beer... however this location has a huge selection of beer and one heck of a huge walk in beer cave as well! It is so nice to be back in civilization. There were so many cool things here... real soft serve ice cream dispensers, a milk shake blender station, a pretty good candy selection, bunches of snacks and regular type drink selections. They are stocked here! They also have a pizzas and sub restaurant inside too. The price of gas here was on par with other local locations. The pumps were fast and there were lots of them. Their snacks, merchandise, and fast food restaurants built into the location are typically on point. This location was the first Love's visit of our trip. Clean bathrooms as usual, which is why I gravitate towards Love's for long road trips. Using the phone app, we got 10 cents off each gallon of gas we bought here, so that was also a plus. Employees were awesome as usual and everything was as to be expected at a travel center.

There really isn't enough property here for a gas station, so it is very hard to get in and out. It is not uncommon to be trapped, and unable to get out--particularly if you park to go in the store. And if you drive a big pick-up, forget it. Not worth the hassle. And now to the "convenience store" part of the business. They don't have anything other than alcohol, pop, chips, candy and junk food...oh, and Lotto. If you need a loaf of bread, or any other staple, forget it. They don't have it. 1 Star I've stopped…read moreat a lot of Love's locations over the years as a professional driver, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. After fueling, I pulled my truck away from the fuel island and into the staging area so I could run inside and grab a drink. There were no trucks waiting behind me, several pumps were open, and I was not blocking anyone from fueling. While I was already inside the store, my truck was called out over the PA system and I was told to move it. What made the situation ridiculous was that another driver was still parked at Pump 17, inside buying food and socializing, yet apparently that wasn't a problem. Nobody called his truck over the intercom. When I addressed the issue, a tall female employee wearing an earpiece spoke to me in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. Instead of treating a paying customer with basic respect, she chose to yell and act confrontational. If there was a concern, it could have been handled professionally. Instead, it felt like I was being singled out for no reason. The problem isn't that I was asked to move my truck. The problem is the blatant double standard and the disrespectful way I was treated. Professional drivers spend a lot of money at Love's and help keep these locations in business. The least we should expect is to be treated with courtesy and consistency. Management needs to take a hard look at how customers are being treated at this location. Based on this experience, I'll think twice before stopping at Store #687 again.

Pit stop on the road of a very long drive…read more I'm always certain and this Loves confirmed clean, well supplied store. The women's bathroom has plenty of stalls and clean floors & sink area. This location even has a dog park. Station clerk was friendly too.
