We saw the same corgis at buzz bomb-everyine was chills after a few barks He was just fine at Buzz Bomb, where we came from. There were other dogs at Buzz bomb and of course some barking took place then everyone was friends. NO PROBLEMS!! K? Keep that in your back pocket while reading this. Our family decided to go to JPs. Clyde didnt make a sounds the entire time. Multiple people came up to me saying how good of a boy he was being. He was minding his business. This couple with 2 corgis comes in, same people from buzz bomb, and obviously my dog is interested as is theirs. Their dog barked first*****, so mine barked after, duh. So a bartender came up to us (group of 10-12) and said if my dog barked again, we needed to leave. I asked another bartender why because the other couples dog barked first and his response was "well they come in weekly" ahhhh sooo it's okay since they patron there often and we don't as much. Although, their dog started it everytime?? So I was saying goodbye to my family and ANOTHER bartender came up saying we had to leave and don't come back. TRUST!!! We won't!! AFTER clyde and I left, the bartender told my brother in law that he told us to leave 3x which literally did not happen!! He told me the one time and we left. So please!! Roll the footage on that one I would love to see it. The bartender tried fighting my brother in laws dad after nasty comments were made about my niece.

When your foot hits the front stone step, it rests in a groove worn over the course of 80 years. That is a detail so interesting but no one would care about except me... So many of these original places are long gone, replaced by mega-chain stores. What they can't replace is the attention to detail and quality that a place like Jones Boys does very well. Apple brats. Never had a better bratwurst, and i've had dozens of different ones over the years. Grilled over indirect heat, they are perfect. English bangers are also very good as a mild breakfast sausage. They have a modest variety of grocery options, dry goods and necessities. Also of note are the dozen or so BBQ sauce varieties. Service is so helpful and friendly. I loved talking with the guy at the meat counter, who explained the history of the place, and it's growing popularity with foodie travelers abroad. Do yourself a favor and grab an assortment of brats for your next BBQ. CASH ONLY. There's an ATM at the Casey's gas station a couple blocks away.

Here's the story....when we were in Italy in 2007 we ate at a fabulous restaurant in Rome. When we inquired as to which wine they would recommend with our meal they suggested a Pinot Grigio. We thought...Yuck, why would we want a watered down wine like that when were in once of the best food and wine cities in the world? They said no no no, this is not like that. You will love it. We did. Back to the states....where can we find this wine?! An internet search led us to The Corkscrew, one of like only three places in the states that carried it. We had a friend pick us up a few bottles, but had never been there ourselves. So onto this weekend, we had to go have a look see. Well the place is chock full of special bottles just like the one we had from Italy (that winery is since changed hands and not the same). Lots of interesting and unusual wines from small wineries. In addition on Fridays they have "Friday @ Five" - wine by the glass 5-8pm. For 5 dollars you get a glass of wine that they are sampling that evening. US brewers from the Midwest, Colorado and the West Coast are well-represented. There are some Belgians and other imports as well. Plenty of bombers, six packs and sampler packs. Once we got home we opened it to find mold on the inside of the lid. Things happen out of many of our control but the low rating is because how they handled it. I had returned it within 15 minutes of the purchase and showed it to the same cashier who of course remembered me. He called the manager or owner and after telling him what happened handed me the phone. I was then told over the phone that they couldn't do anything until their supplier looked at it! I was willing to just exchange it but they would not even do that. They said that they would call me. I had yet to hear back so called today. They gave me an "Oh yeah, can you call back tomorrow?" This is very poor business in my opinion.
