Yesterday at 10:40-10:50 pm on a Monday night me and my hubs (My man is African American so let's…read morenote that) were at the Chevron located at 2528 E Copper Mine Rd, San Tan Valley, AZ 85143 we had walked into the Chevron needing to get a couple of snacks from here, while doing so when all of a sudden we were approached by the very first Cop who asked my hubs if he is supposed to be here and if he is aware that he is being trespassed, he said 'no sir you must've gotten the wrong person' respectfully and had asked him if something had happened and I asked the same while looking there was another cop right behind us within, while they had checked another cop had to explain they were in this exact store and that man that had looked similar had already been arrested and knew that it was not him at all but THANKFULLY and I MEAN THANKFULLY these two nice amazing cops known already that my hubs was no threat whatsoever and had confirmed that he is not the one after checking in the system that he is not who they HAD already arrested and had apologized within the store employee's accusations against my man. But then all of a sudden after getting confirmation of the two cops themselves two more had pulled in! What was said that had FIVE cops in FOUR different vehicles, absolutely f-ing not! This is where it gets even worse when This Caucasian (white) man, long black hair with a pony tail half-done, about 300 pounds, nearly around 6 feet with a smooshed face comes out of the Chevron and tries to start problems with my hubs stating that 'he knows that it was him that is needed by the cops' while taking pictures of him and ended up calling him a 'f-ing blackie' at the end!? (I am so thankful my hubby did not hear that oh my God) when the cops came inside to have a talk with him he stated that he doesn't want anything to do with him or me going off on him and that he feels 'uncomfortable' around him especially while I'm talking to my hubs that everything is going to be okay and to stay calm knowing that my man was freaking out knowing he is African American and he can be easily seen as a threat and that if I wasn't there yesterday things would have further escalated, the cops and I seeing the concern in my hubby and having to check his well-being had absolutely broke my heart and my hubby today had broke me even more to see how scared my hubs was at the end shaking and getting emotional is not okay nearly to where I was so close to having driving him home instead! He is the sweetest man I know & Is loved by many and that he shouldn't have ever been racially profiled/defamed and I will be more than happy to either have the General Store Manager contact me or I take this to Corporate hope they choose wisely because we will not go down until a fight is given to get that man fired and mentally checked on! He is SICK. All it was needed was for that employee to politely ask us to leave if he believed that my hubby was but instead left us both traumatized at the end.

Very nice cashier (working alone, long line) said "We've had a ticket in for days." I wish I had a dollar for every time the receipt didn't print, the car wash was down, etc. A couple of weeks ago (July) I called to see if the car wash was working. The guy said yes and sounded REALLY ticked. I think he just disconnected the call. I drove down and of course needed to get the receipt at the counter because it didn't print at the pump. He never made eye contact, was furious about being there, and hopefully has found other employment. To be clear the cashier tonight was very nice and was trying to assist as best she could, but there's not much you can do when Shell runs this place like a rinky-dink outfit. But...it's only been SIX YEARS since my last review...I guess that's not enough time to get things fixed.

It is conveniently located on a corner with a light, so it's easy to get in and out of, and it's the first gas station on the south side of Hunt Highway at any point between the downtown QC and Florence.

So today I went to cash in a lottery ticket that I won it was for the amount of $250. I took it to…read morethe cash register and the attendant advised me that I couldn't get the $250 only $100. I was like alright I'll go to a Fry's store. I went to the new Fry's on Ellsworth and Riggs, I explained the attendant there and she stated that I was the 4th person that has happened too! She also stated that a customer brought her a scratch tix that won them $500, she scanned the tix and was already charged and no value any longer. The customer realized that the circle k employee had already charged it herself! Be careful always get your tix back even when checking them!!!

But over half the times that I've gone here I've had to lock my car and go inside and wait in-line for a receipt. Not really sure what's going on with this location right now but about half the pumps are down and they have plywood on some of the front windows. It's unfortunate that it's one of the closer ones to my home.

Every time I come for a soda and a quick meal nothing is stocked. Half the time I have to dig through their cabinets to find a straw or a lid. They never keep the hot meals stocked either. I have tried on multiple occasions to purchase the weekend pizza deal for dinner, but they always tell me the kitchen is closed. I went once at 5PM and they said it was closed, so I went the next week at 4PM and they said it was closed. Not sure when they have their kitchen open, but most people are not eating dinner before 4PM. Would not recommend stopping at this Circle K. (Pictures posted here were taken at 5:30PM)
