This Circle K is a brand new one and is very nice. Always busy and the lines usually go fairly quick. I've noticed every time I've been in there that the floor always seems sticky, especially near the Thirstbuster self-serve area. This is a really rundown Circle K. Even the employees come across as pretty unsavory. Right when I walked in, there was a massive spill near the entrance that looked like Gatorade, and no one seemed to care about cleaning it up. The floors are already usually sticky in most Circle K locations, but this just made it worse. What really stood out was the employee working, who I believe said his name was David. He had a beard and seemed really frustrated, but the way he handled it was completely unprofessional. He was loudly saying things like "what the f* this f* s* s* f* I don't know what the f* this f* thing" and then told a customer "it's not your fault this s* is f*." I get that people have bad days, but that kind of language and attitude in front of customers is not okay. It just adds to the overall rough feel of the place. I had a horrible day yesterday on my way to the ER/ ICU at Banner Desert. I stopped by for some snacks and decided to get me some scratchers to while away some time at the wait room. I put in $15.00 into the lottery machine but only got a card. I called on 2 staffs to assist me and both were reluctant to help. I was told I'd need to call the 1800 number behind the lottery card to ask for my funds back. Even though the machine shows that my $ was stuck inside it. They walked away from me and I just was beside myself and didn't know what to do. It's like you snoozed you lose sort of thing . Only it wasn't funny ! I decided to proceed and played with the machine and chose whatever card that I can get so I don't lose out on $15.00. I'm still amazed and have not played the game.... If the sticker has been removed and reapplied, the word "Void" is visible. I've already found one that was tampered with. I don't feel to safe using the card reader at the pumps after that, so I started walking inside to pay for my gas. (I used to give the card reader a good wiggle and tug before swiping my card, but not anymore!) Sesame Street hint #2: if you leave your purse or valuables in the passenger area while pumping, do yourself a favor and lock your doors so you are not giving a sneaky little thief a chance to swipe your stuff. This location doesn't know their own return policy and are clearly rude and racist. Recently, someone I know, who happens the be a black man but that shouldn't matter, was trying to return a phone charger with a receipt after only 5 days and it was unopened. Maria and Miguel, both managers, denied the return saying it had been more than 24 hours since purchase even though their return policy is 30 days. They even threatened to call the cops on him for simply trying to return an unused unopened item. This is bullshit! You should do better. I remember when this place was built, back in 2010 when I was in town. I was impressed with their inexpensive gas prices plus their acceptance of credit cards with no extra fee. I was probably one of their very first customers. Eventually their prices went up so they are no longer as competitive with ARCO, tho not as high as Shell, etc. I ran in here with my daughter tonight, she to get some snacks for movie watching and me to check out their prices on milk and beer. Since I didn't need a gallon for the motel, just a quart, I zeroed in on smaller containers which ran about $2 each. I passed. I checked out the beer and found a six-pack for $4. 29, not as cheap as Walgreens or Fresh and Easy but acceptable, so I bought that and a 24oz cup of coffee for the morning (it'll probably last me two days) for $1.59. I paid the nice lady and headed home. I have to say they kept the line moving. There was a long line when I got in it and in just a minute or two it was my turn to pay. Good job ladies. On the negative side I didn't like the nefarious characters hanging around outside dropping the f-bombs and my daughter said she nearly got high from four guys who passed her reeking of pot. read more

I have NEVER in my life had such bad service from ANY other Circle K. I worked with "Taylor" (she hesitated to tell me what her name was after her rude service) I stood in line at a CONVENIENCE store and was treated like I was such an inconvenience to the cashier. Not only did she rudely scream out for the next person in line as I was standing right in front of her register but she rolled her eyes and gave me an attitude. When I asked how her day was going she ignored me. I work in customer service. I get it. Sometimes its stressful, but after a full day of work, I understand that you can be a little peeved. Sometimes you just need to suck it up and treat people kindly so you dont lose your customers. I will never return to your store and neither will any of my residents at the apartment complex I work at across the street that goes in to get money orders, nor will any family and friends of mine. For the past two years I have been able to get maybe 1 milkshake. Every time I go they have the machine turned off or a out of order sign taped to it. Whenever I ask why, they claim because no one knows how to run the cleaning cycle. So they have to wait for corporate to send a technician just to clean it. I am very disappointed in the staff. Especially the young male with the rose tattoo on his forearm. He is very rude and shouldn't even be an employee for how he treats his customers. I was in here Wednesday Oct 2nd and wow this male decides to get an attitude with another customer. The customer had him and a female and they were buying cigarettes. The male was obviously old enough and he showed his ID the male refused to sell him the cigarettes due to the female beside him (who was also obviously grown) the woman did not have her ID on her so her would not sell. I like how close it is to where I'm currently living. It's usually pretty busy but they move the lines pretty fast. Sometimes when it's busy the soda fountain area will get trashed while all the employees are at the register. Decent prices, ok staff. But like any place in this area there's almost always sketchy people outside looking for free stuff, cigarettes, drugs or trying to sell you their mixtape. I always regret going to this location, which happens about every 4 months or so. Long lines with staff that don't seem to care, and sometimes chatting with what seems like visiting friends. Evenings definitely seem to be worse. Sometimes there is only one person at the register when there are 8-10 people waiting in line. I always get error messages when using my card at the pumps and I have to go wait inside to pay. It's a busy location, but so is QT and they seem to handle it almost perfectly every time. There are plenty of other places in the area, so I just don't bother with this place anymore, you might want to do the same. read more
