This joint was out of mashed potatoes at around 6:30 on a weeknight. These are instant potatoes. Why? The mac & cheese was OK; the slaw was better than most, because the cabbage wasn't finely sliced; and the dirty rice was somewhat flavorful but gummy. If the biscuits here are "famous," it's only because they are spongy. I made better biscuits when I was a 12-year-old on a Boy Scout campout. -- The chicken strips are fine. Nothing memorable, but served fresh on my visit. The management at this location isn't the greatest. Perhaps they were having a bad day. More importantly, the person in the corporate marketing department who decided that bone-in chicken shouldn't be an option in this neck of the woods might want to collaborate with colleagues at other chicken chains that have realized great national success AND include strips on the menu.
