The drive thru had several cars so we tried inside. The line was at least 8 people long and while we waited the line didn't seem to get any shorter. I would recommend adding some staff during the dinner rush. It is fast food, so it is easy for people to become impatient and leave after waiting 10 minutes. That is what we did. We came back around 7 after we finished in the grocery store. The restaurant was pretty empty. The guy at the counter was helpful, polite and suggested ways to keep the cost of the meal down by using the 2 entree option. It was clean and they even made my veggies fresh. Unfortunately they were under cooked and under seasoned, but at least you could tell they were fresh since they crunched when I ate them. Overall a fine experience as long as you avoid the rush times.

Absolutely worth the visit!…read more Tacos Del Gordo was amazing! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the quality of the food for the price is hard to beat. The portions are HUGE! I had the cheese enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the birria plate, and it came with so much tender, flavorful meat that we took enough home to make a couple more tacos later. Having lived in Texas for many years and visited Mexico for about eight weeks each year, we're pretty particular when it comes to authentic Mexican food--and this place impressed us. The salsa bar alone is worth mentioning. There were so many great flavors, and everything tasted fresh. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret so it doesn't get too busy , but they truly deserve all the attention and support they can get. Great prices, generous portions, authentic flavors, amazing salsa, and genuinely friendly service. Definitely make the effort to check them out--you won't regret it!

The eatery is relatively small, a dive bar style counter and 2-3 tables for dine-in customers, but the vibe is lively. The guys working on the counter and kitchen are also very friendly. I ordered the green chili burger with chicken and it was DELICIOUS. Flavorful, juicy, filling. The fries (to be ordered separately) complimented the burger very well.
