Ok, I avoid ARCO, I do...because they are usually arranged poorly from the start and people drive in and out like they are trying to run you down. They have two different prices for cash and card but to do cash you HAVE to go inside and deal with whatever angry human they shove behind that register (and I have had some insanely nasty ARCO employees) making the extra money savings not at all worth it....especially now that you have to walk in to pay, walk out to pump your own gas and then go back in to get your change! SOOOOOO, imagine my surprise at this location that I use my debit card and get UNDER the posted cash price...WHAT??!? I get to pump my own gas (yes, I am one of the crazy folks who prefers to pump their own gas!) but it is soooo cheap. Another thing I did not like about ARCO is that they ping hold a ridiculous amount on a card - and I get it...I pull up and see the person prior to me spent $80+ to fill their tank but I fill for under $30 even when prices are truly tragic so I did like that I can enter my "fill" amount. The downside was that I figured I would just add $15 an go to one of my actual super cheap gas spots when over on that side of town... and then I see that nope, I am getting a cheaper than that price. So I fill the $15, replace the nozzle, grab it again - rerun the card for another $15 and it draws another $8.13 to actually fill my tank. I am so happy to know the secret though - use your debit card! This is close to home too, runs all night and I love having gas up options.

Then why you working that's highly contagious. Anyways she just didn't like that I said something so she called the cops on me. Drama queen! Hope corporate looks into her. Shouldn't be sitting texting ignoring customers and rolling her eyes. We are trespassed until we get it in writing we can go back. But won't ever go back and not letting friends family coworkers stop there either. Worst service and horrible rude worker!

Even when we were the most tragic as far as the gas prices go, I was still way less at the pump than most cars since I have had 7 gallon tanks. I still tried to go back and forth between gas points pricing at Fred Meyer and my Costco membership... I refuse to negotiate getting cash to try to save money going to Arco since you then have to deal with going to (AND INTO SINCE CASH WHICH ADDS TO THE FUCK NO) and also dealing with the folks who angrily work and Arco and discover why they are so mad since you also get to deal with the other customers. I then started doing delivery driving so I am not just filling my tank a whole lot more BUT I need to watch my money more and am EVERYWHERE. Of course there are many main streets which I am often on. But I see A LOT of gas stations and notice the price differences which are pretty sizeable. There are certain gas stops which just have better prices. I filled up at what I thought was the lowest (Astro) and five minutes later I drive past Space Age which was nearly ten cents cheaper! SHOCKING... but instead of plugging in Astro first I go for Space Age. I did exactly that this time and then discovered this gas station was so close for so long that I genuinely just found the other day. Even better is that people in Oregon are not used to self serve so they all sit in line waiting for someone to do it for them. Take advantage while you can, like I did and roll right up to a self service pump and then out. Unlike Astro, they have a snack station too. I cannot report on that as I just grabbed some gas.

He greeted me with a big smile and was eager to help from the moment I walked in. When he noticed I didn't have an AMPM rewards card, he even scanned his own card so I could get discounts, completely unprompted. That kind of generosity from an employee is rare and really touched me. He went so far above and beyond what was expected of him. I left feeling really uplifted, and honestly, that's not something you expect from a quick convenience store stop. This employee is a true asset to this location.
