So I went into the Circle K on Euclid Street in Anaheim to purchase this drink which is $.89. I gave the older Indian man a $1.00 bill. He took my money put it in the register and said "Next Customer". I looked at him and said "isn't the drink $.89". He says "yes plus tax" and I said "well you didn't give me my change and I want my change". He got an instant attitude and threw the 4 pennies in my hand. It's not that I'm being petty but treat me just like you would treat your Middle Eastern customers that patronize your business. Let me also add that the Indian lady is following Black and Mexican customers around the store as if all the Black and Mexicans are going to steal. Best place to grab a cheap fountain soda My husband buys his cigarettes here and I like the fountain drinks. Both are better priced than other convenience stores. An x-large, which is comparable to a Super Big Gulp is a much better value at 1.07 including tax. That is the price after a recent increase. The people who work here are nice. They also have an amazing selection of snacks ranging from healthy to not so healthy including so many different dietary options like gluten free and vegetarian. It's a good stop. They used to have a major problem with people without permanent housing sleeping and laying all over the sidewalk but that seems to have been recently resolved as have the pricing inconsistency issue. read more

Shady... shady... shady... Came in here to get some things a drink, chips, lotto tickets... As I'm going up to pay I see the manager obviously training a new hire. I put my things down on the counter and watch as the trainee rings them up under the watchful eye of the manager, So as the total pulls up I take out my plastic to pay for it. Note: At the time of visit there is no notification of minimum charge required to use plastic aka credit, just the usual ATM fee for debit cards. I swipe my card and then tell the guy to charge it as credit. Now I'm less than 3 feet away from the both of them and I hear the manager tell the guy to OVERCHARGE me because they get dinged on credit transactions. At that point I look at him and say "You know what you are doing is against the law." " Not too mention it's a violation of your merchant services agreement." The manager looks dumbfounded and tries to act dumb about this.... Never again... left my crap and took my business elsewhere. read more

I do love this place. Won't lie. Go here 2-3 times a week for a variety of things. All the staff EXCEPT for the older gent with the beard are nice, polite, and helpful. But it seems there is some sort of a "napkin limit" with this older bearded guy. Seems the limit is 2, cause the old guy with the beard scolded me for taking 3 of them. Weird. Kind of off-putting. I went in with my daughter to get ice cream and something to drink . They had a deal on Snapple 2 for 2.50 and my daughter got a scoop of ice cream which I believe was a 1.97 and the guy told me it was 6.70 . At first it didn't click I handed him a 10 then I said wait that doesn't add up . And instead of saying oh I'm sorry let try again he just tried to do in his head still gave the wrong change and I am furious if you can stand by your deals or give correct change maybe find someone who can . He also was wiping his nose like he had a cold and then scooped the ice cream without gloves or washing his hands . Very unsanitary. I hope they can fix this issue! I stop into this clean, well lit circle k on almost a daily basis. Whether its for a good, always fresh coffee in the morning or something to snack on with a fairly priced beverage later in the day i always find whoever is behind the counter to be in a good mood, friendly, and polite. The slushies are always cold and the torpedos crispy on the outside and melty on the inside. The selection of brew, liquor and tobacco is larger than average and that can cause it to be slightly crowded at times. Other than one regular bum that hangs out in the parking lot occasionally, this is everything and more than i have come to expect from a local liquor store and if you are passing through Garden Grove on the edge of Anaheim its definitely not a bad choice. read more

Not a bad location. It's been a staple at Euclid & Orangewood for years and years. I used to go here in high school quite a bit. Even got nabbed by the principal one time when he went in to grab a cup of coffee and saw a few of us getting back into the car to head back to school. Its a tamed-down location. I was in there today for the first time in several years. The stock isn't as bountiful as it used to be, but it appears that all the drinks, beverages, alcohol and fountain drinks appear to be well above average. The guy working the counter this afternoon cut a guy a break who was cash-strapped, and let him pay fifty cents for a large drink. That's class. read more

I have been a customer of this Circle K for years. I stop almost every morning for the great coffee. The girl that works in the morning is always so friendly and goes above and beyond to help you, and the place is always clean. I see a lot of the same people when I am there, and have even made a few friends..... I don't go at night that much unless I need to because it is a totally different place! The employees at night are rude, I have been overcharged a few times and the store is always dirty! I was even accused of stealing something one time. Well the last couple of days my morning girl has not been there so I asked where she was..... I was told she quit!. Wow I don't know what happened but they sure lost an asset to their store. I have to add the coffee almost always tastes burnt. Might have to find a new place. read more
