We wanted to get married before he left and Live Oak Vineyard made that happen for us. Luckily the venue was available December 16,2017 which was 3 weeks away. Letti and her crew were unbelievable! Within 48 hours after calling her and explaining the situation, she found a date that worked for my family and FH's. She questioned me about cake design and flavors, flower options, colors and everything you could think of. The next day she had picture samples of bouquets, cakes, center pieces and catering options. By the end of the week we had caterer booked,flowers, center pieces and cake ordered. She also found us a wonderful Officiant,bartender,and DJ. Luckily the photographer I booked was available that day. They pulled it all together and in 3 weeks time. I don't know if what I had been planning in almost a year in advance could have been any better than the miracle Letti pulled off. Basically all I had to do was find a dress and show up. It was the wedding I dreamed of, even though I had my doubts about everything getting done in so little time. My family also rented out the Guest House on the property which was wonderful and very convenient. I can not thank Live Oak Vineyard, Letti and her team enough for the perfect memories they gave us.

My husband, Phil, and I waited for 3 years for this wedding because of COVID. At first, it was going to be at Wedgewood Brittany Hill in CO, then it got cancelled because of COVID, then Wedgewood Carmel in CA when things started to reopen, and finally we moved it to Hofmann Ranch because my mom is struggling with complications from her double knee replacement surgeries that were postponed because of COVID and she couldn't fly to CA. The day before our wedding, Southwest cancelled Phil's best man's and his wife's flights, Phil's cousins' flights, and my friend's flights and my uncle had to drive all the way from San Diego the day before the wedding. We were beyond worried and devastated. Because of the Hofmann Ranch team, we felt so secure and so loved and our families and friends were able to meet each other for the first time and connect with each other. Britney thought of everything: making sure that my mom had a place to sit so that she could march with me halfway down the path of the patio deck, she held onto my train, she made a water color Phannie drink sign that was gorgeous, she made sure that we ate, she thought of every single detail and schedule change when our families kept talking and singing (this is what happens when you get a whole bunch of Filipinos together LOL), she made sure that Phil and I ate food, and there are countless other things that I am sure that we don't know about. Giving Britney my bouquet was the only way that I could say how grateful I was for creating a magical place and experience in spite of all the obstacles. Phil and I are so thrilled and feel like we were destined to be married at Hofmann Ranch. You have a special place in our hearts. I hope that your mother liked the bouquet. We tried to secure a sloth experience for a corporate event through Zoomagination and held what…read moreseemed like two very positive phone calls with Jennie, the co-owner, in which we verbally arranged all the details. However, when we asked for a paper agreement to hold the date, she said they "didn't usually do them." When we insisted that for a corporate event with lots of money on the line (our entire booth is supposed to be themed around the sloth), we needed at least SOME kind of agreement and deposit in place, she promised multiple times across two phone calls to send us something...but never did. Two different members of our team tried patiently to follow up with her for OVER THREE WEEKS via email, phone, and text message. We didn't even get the courtesy of a simple message back saying she couldn't do it, and frankly, it left us in a difficult position and created reputation risk for us with other vendors. I absolutely cannot recommend this mobile zoo if you need someone reliable for your event, and candidly, the lack of responsiveness we received is hard NOT to perceive as extremely rude. It's sad, too -- a member of our team apparently saw this zoo present at a different event and said it was good. But how would you even know they were going to show up? I see they have lots of good reviews, but they all seem to be old. I can only guess they must be missing whatever management they used to have. All around just a huge bummer.

They are slow like they are portrayed. They are nocturnal. They eat veggies and fruit. They poop once a week and only at night. Who would have know ? I didn't book this experience, but the handler was accommodating. We were able to meet Osa in her environment, but I do understand that they can take her to your home too. Definitely a great experience It's my understanding, that these animals are all rescued.
