I couldn't be happier with deciding to hire Justin for my proposal photography. He was quick and…read moreprofessional in setting up the details, and kept clear communication with me in the planning stages. I think one of the most undervalued aspects of his proposal service is his advice/suggestions on how, when, and where a great proposal in Austin can happen. He even scouted out different places for me to check the conditions! After comparing his services and prices against other proposal photographers in Austin, he definitely had the best bang for your buck. The photoshoot itself was great. Justin was waiting for us and captured the special moment, and the mini photo-shoot after the proposal turned out really well! What blew me away was that he offered to drive to a completely different location, 15 minutes away, to continue our "mini-photoshoot" at another scenic spot! He was so flexible and willing to go the extra mile for us...all without increasing the price! Plus, Justin is just a friendly person, so it was great getting to know him and work with him. I would highly recommend Max Photography to anyone looking for proposal, engagement or wedding photographers! Thanks again, Justin!

The photos we received from Justin are gorgeous to say the least - he is extremely talented with lighting and framing! He was very easy to communicate via email before our reception and made sure to get all the details he needed before our big day. She's confident, comfortable directing guests, and gave us (the bride and groom) clear direction so we'd get the very best shots. Since she's photographed at Chapel Dulcinea so many times, she knew exactly how to work within our 1.5-hour ceremony window to get everything we wanted. She then joined us at our reception brunch and captured all the sentimental moments with our loved ones -- memories we'll treasure for a lifetime. Amy is friendly, professional, and willing to do what it takes for the perfect shot. And she delivered our photos surprisingly fast! Highly, highly recommend.

I was convinced I'd look awkward in front of the camera for my engagement/wedding pictures, but I really wanted to make sure we had photos for both.. I searched around, tried to find a photographer with pictures that captured the romance without unnecessary filtering and editing. I stumbled upon Amy's pictures and fell in love with her style and beautiful use of natural color and lighting. Amy exceeded my expectations tenfold. She was so friendly and approachable the whole time and made me and my (now) husband super comfortable in spite of our concerns. The time we spent together was actually a blast, and she'd give feedback to make sure that we looked our best and help us lighten up. The photoshoot felt like it flew by, and even though we were excited about getting our pictures back, we had NO idea that we were about to get an entire album FULL of INCREDIBLE pictures. That's right. It wasn't a matter of just picking 5 that we liked. We had trouble narrowing down our favorites because Amy rocked it SO HARD and we wound up with 200+ incredible pictures. I'm already looking forward to working with her again in the future so we have more photographed memories over the years. Cannot thank you enough, Amy!

We could not possibly be more pleased with her professionalism, attention to detail, personal touch, and overall cheerful demeanor. Every step of the process was stress-free, and Elissa even went above and beyond on several occasions by mailing us chocolate (always a plus), and helping us get an idea of what to expect from other parts of the wedding planning process completely unrelated to photography. Beyond her incredible diligence (all of our wedding photos were edited and posted online before we returned from our honeymoon), Elissa is also a very talented photographer who is very light on her feet. For the most part, we hardly noticed her presence (with the exception of some great, and amusing direction during the crazy family formal shots), but the photos indicate that she has a way of being everywhere at once! My mother-in-law actually expressed concern on the wedding day that she thought the entire ceremony had only been photographed from behind my wife, such that there would be no photos of her face during a very emotional event. When I saw that there were in fact gorgeous, artful and intimate photos from just about every angle--I was relieved and elated that my MOL's worries were proven to be baseless (aren't they always? haha). Elissa clearly takes great joy, and great pride in her work. I have no doubt that whatever you hire her to shoot, you will be blown away by the results.
