Bounce house! No hidden vendor fees!

Choosing the Wildflower Barn as our wedding venue was the best decision I have ever made! My dream wedding came to life here. From the amazing & friendly people who work there, to the property, everything truly was above an beyond- I cannot say thank you enough! No hidden fees, and great for DIY weddings! Things got even easier when we found out we were able to have both the ceremony AND reception all on the same site. We were able to bring our own vendors, without any hidden fees. The entire experience was a breeze, completely stress free! Not to mention, at night it looked like something straight out of a fairy tale! I loved the add on for a "day-of coordinator" [S/O to Andrea! The best of the best!, plus the luxury walk away, it made my entire wedding day & night such a breeze! You won't regret choosing this beautiful location. I know I will forever cherish the memories that were made there!

This review is specifically about The Wildflower Barns Photographer Amber! She is the sweetest women ever, and let me tell you the girl knows how to take some pictures! We pushed back our wedding due to the pandemic, and therefore have not had our actual wedding reception yet, and therefore that is why this review is only about Amber for now...even though everyone at The Wildflower Barn has been so amazing in our wedding planning so far! Even though we postponed our reception, my husband and I still wanted to be married ASAP! Therefore we reached out to Amber to see if there was anyway we could still use the Wildflower Barn for a quick ceremony with me, my husband and our officiant, along with having her take some photos of us! She was more than accommodating and got everything set up for us right away! And for a reasonable price might I add! I showed up on the morning of our elopement, and I'm honestly not worried about getting married, but instead worried about getting photos taken of myself because I have always thought of myself as not photogenic! Amber immediately made us feel so relaxed and at ease, and made sure to give us lots of guidance to make sure we were posing in the best way possible! She is someone I will keep in mind for any potential photos my family needs taken! I am so happy that she will also be there to photograph our wedding reception, and I know already those pictures will turn out better than expected!!

Class act. My daughter and new son-in-law booked their destination wedding at this venue and I was skeptical at first: An old barn out in the middle of nowhere . . . But wow. Just wow. Everything was picture perfect, even in early spring. The clouds knew when to part and stop the rain so the wedding could begin! The venue owner is patient and knowledgeable and helped us to anticipate every obstacle. Even though we had the wedding at the onset of the novel coronavirus, we were advised well and feel we did everything possible to accommodate our guests that were able to attend. I highly recommend this venue, and I highly recommend listening to the experts and their advice. This is a great location for ALL your outside events.

The Wildflower Barn was truly an experience that all our guests loved and enjoyed. We had so many compliments about the venue and if we had to do it again. We would. The owners and management were very friendly and professional. They took care of since our first tour up until the day of the wedding. The venue allows you to bring your own drink, food, and decorations. A huge plus in our book to customize our wedding to our likeness. We had an amazing time and we're glad we choose this venue. The pictures and video really came out well with the scenery. The venue also provides rentals that you can purchase, a service for cleanup, photography, and list of recommended vendors to help.

We have nothing but great things to say about The Wildflower Barn. The team was so accomadating throughout this process. We knew from the tour that we absolutely had to book this place. It was perfect for our guests! Flowers were in bloom and everything looked so beautiful under the lights. We had the Luxury Walkaway package and are so thankful for everyone that helped set up and tear down. If you want a lowkey, DIY, beautiful reception venue in Texas, this is it!! Thank you guys for making our big day so special.

Amber is absolutely Amazing, I chose her for my wedding photography and then for my maternity photography. She is VERY patient and is open to my suggestions, I show her ideas from my Pinterest board and she delivers each request.

The Wildflower Barn provided just the right mix of being relatively affordable, letting us do what we want, and of course just being a beautiful setting that felt right to us. I had no idea how many restrictions most wedding venues have until I started doing a lot of research. The Wildflower Barn is awesome in this way. We did our own flowers, made our own cake and cocktails, had plenty of "friendors," and even hired a petting zoo! I loved that we got to make our wedding everything we wanted it to be. Speaking as a gay couple and also just as silly people, they were always supportive of our ideas and excited for our wedding. We went with the wedding coordinating service (granted, I think it was a simpler and less expensive package than they now offer) and the luxury walkway service. The wedding coordinator was always super sweet and helpful. I'm a very organized person so I'm not sure if it was entirely necessary, but for the price we paid it was absolutely worth it, especially because she did all the coordinating with vendors on the day-of. 100% just get the luxury walkaway service!!! Having the tables and chairs already set up when we arrived (we did the linens and flowers and everything, but the hard part was done) and then having them take care of trash, sweeping, and whatever else at the end of the day was worth everything. We just got to enjoy it all. We had a couple challenges outside of everyone's control, but The Wildflower Barn came through for us. First, it was supposed to rain on our wedding day (all day) so we had to plan to have our ceremony indoors instead of in the meadow that I fell in love with. It actually stopped raining so we were able to do it outside, but I recommend thinking about how to fit everyone inside the barn and then flip the space to be your reception area if needed--or get the coordinating service and they will do this. Second, we got married on March 15th, right when coronavirus started escalating exponentially in the Austin area. We had no idea, and close to 20 guests declined within 24 hours of the wedding. Since it ended up being such a tiny wedding, it sort of ended before we wanted it to end, but we got to enjoy the beautiful space and the fire pit all to ourselves after everyone left and it was lovely.

    S'mores were a hit!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!…read more Do not plan your wedding (or event) WITHOUT the help of Yellow Umbrella Events! My wife and I considered doing this on our own and I couldn't imagine how much stress this would have added to our wedding planning. We got married this past weekend at Xcaret Hotel Mexico and had 56 guests that Yellow Umbrella took care of all the rooms and logistics for. Shea, Mia, and the team made it so easy for us and all of our guests every step of the way. They took care of all our guests, booking, correspondence, deadlines which allowed us to fully focus on our wedding. In only a few days after our first meeting with them, we had an incredible website set up for our wedding with every possible detail for our guests. The room booking experience was seamless and we literally didn't have to worry about any of it. What a relief! On top of that, they went ABOVE & BEYOND in making sure we had not only the best wedding experience possible but as well as our week stay afterwards. Not to get into all the details but we had a few communication issues with the venue and Shea and Mia went WELL beyond their scope of work to get things handled for us. Many of our guests have been messaging us this week telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to and that makes us so happy. I highly recommend you at least explore a conversation with the Yellow Umbrella team. I will certainly go with them for any group bookings we do in the future!

Amazing team, so lucky we found them!…read more My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl and Shea. They are seriously the dream team of wedding planning (and really any event). We had essentially a 4~ day destination wedding in Hawaii and they helped plan a day for rehearsal and welcome party, and the actual wedding. The other two days were one for family where they suggested the event and a beach day after the wedding that we handled. We started planning our destination wedding in Hawaii in September 2019 to get married in January of 2020 and it was no easy feat but we were lucky to have the best help to make our special day incredible. We first heard of Cheryl and Shea through my friends whose wedding they planned in Austin. While planning our own wedding, I commented to my friend that I wanted to find a team as great as hers and lo and behold we found out they specialized in destination weddings. We originally interviewed 4-5 local planners as we wanted someone on the ground but after speaking with Cheryl, we knew they were the perfect fit. Cheryl was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with on our realatively short timeline. Did we mention we also left the country for a monthlong, pre-wedding honeymoon?! Cheryl and Shea helped us source vendors in Hawaii, managed the relationships and timelines, and was there whenever we had a question or follow up. Here are some of the highlights they helped us with; -Suggest a fun family day event (from 12-9 PM!) -Source our amazing hair and makeup artist -Find us a bartender who made bespoke cocktails to service in freshly shucked and cored coconuts and pineapples -Source a hotel for our guests and get travel planner rates. -Managed difficult vendors and made it look effortless -Deal with my difficult mother and helped me deal with it (honestly this can't be emphasized enough) Don't hesitate to book Yellow Umbrella Events for anything you're planning, they're amazing.

Robert and Mari are both amazing people and they make an awesome team! My husband and I feel like we not only left our wedding with amazing photos but also gained 2 lifelong friends. My husband and I are both very particular in our likes. We felt the photographer was the most crucial part of our wedding because they would be capturing our first steps in our journey together. We looked at their website and became instantly drawn to their unique and artistic style of photography. There were other photographers that we were considering, but none that we felt that instant connection to, and this feeling was only heightened once we met them. Robert and Mari are the type of people that are very professional but very personable. They made us go from the awkward stage of kissing in front of the camera to joking around about "glowsticks." (Ask Mari) What we LOVED most about Robert & Mari was that they constantly had us laughing and took amazing shots of those moments. They exhibited a great amount of passion for their job and it was clear to see the amount of love they have for one another. This wonderful interaction drew out our personalities as well & helped us to "loosen up." As a bride, you are going through so many steps to have your perfect wedding and of course, this can cause anxiety. Robert & Mari relieved us of our anxiety, made us feel at peace. The one thing that stood out to us that we absolutely loved was that they go above and beyond to ensure that your photos will come out the way you've always dreamed them to be, such as visiting the sites prior to the event, and even laying on the floor to get the perfect angle. We NEVER had to worry about whether they would be there on time, be at the right place, or whether or not their photos would match our creativity. What I loved most about this company was the vast selection of photo arrangements at a competitive price. This company is continuing to grow and expand their selections, which is very important for when it's time to choose your photos. Our final photos were breathtaking, from our engagements to the wedding day! Words can hardly describe the joy I felt when we viewed the final product. I can only imagine how my maternity photos will turn out!

At that time, there was nothing going on and nothing growing so we decided to come back around when spring was happening. So this time around, definitely more popular, more cars and people wanting to check the place out. Essentially I was expecting this to be more of a field of flowers. But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea). The trail itself was open, spacious and a great way to get some fresh air. You can be lucky enough to catch some glimpses of some flowers that could be sprouting out even though there's not much! The shops: they had different types of store fronts, one for food/snack/pickled items alongside a small cafe where you can order beer and wine, another for more accessories, clothing and some planting items too! They had standing wine tasting area near the trail walking area if you want to walk around with some wine. Parking: so much parking, so definitely not to worry although I can image it being more difficult when the flowers really bloom in their field.
