    This is for the building in Downtown Santa Monica, although there was construction going on which…read moremade it a little difficult to ignore, I do have to say that the view is amazing from the offices. I was shopping around for a space to conduct my business and have clients come in for consultations with ease. I spoke with Libby Marquis on the phone who initially persuaded me to come in and take a look for myself. Everything she explained to me through the phone was exactly how I pictured it and more! I was so impressed and most importantly HAPPY that I was able to get all the information given to me upon arrival. Unfortunately, the spaces available were a little too excessive for what I need at the moment, but as soon as there is one available with the right floor plan they will inform me. I received a follow up call about a week later, thanking me for looking and informing me that there might be a space available soon. Thank you so much, Libby! Great location! Great Manager!

    If I could I would give zero stars, but I guess one star would be enough to help get my point…read moreacross. I applied to Barrister as a front desk receptionist, I got an interview (I think it went well) and that was that. I had emailed Emma, asking about how long it could would take for me to potentially hear back about a second job, she replied to my email. No issues with that. When the time came, I emailed her asking for a follow up about where I stand in the hiring position. Keep in mind by this point I knew I didn't get the job, but I emailed Emma just as a virtual confirmation to know that I did not get the job. She never replied to my email! It has been weeks and she never replied. I eventually found out someone else was hired. I was upset BECAUSE my email was ignored. Not because I did not get the job, but because she had a week to reply to my email and tell me "I am sorry you did not get the job" or something similar to that, but no. She didn't even bother to reply with a simple sorry no or "sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I was in the dark about the job for a week. For A WEEK Miss. Emma did not reply. When she clearly had the time and chance to respond back with something. This really upset me because it just shows the lack of professionalism she has as well as the company has when it deals with communication; communicating with their workers, clients and potential hires. The lack of professionalism from that company is very evident. I'm glad I didn't get the job there, if they couldn't disclose with me the status of my application who knows what else they wouldn't tell me if I worked there.

    Came to Thousand Oaks with my business partner to drop off something for a client. We looked on…read moreyelp for a Fedex/Kinkos to print some labels. I found OfficeLocale and decided to give them a try. Little did I know that this was a one stop shop not just for printing services, but you also get an office space you can rent, P.O. Boxes, and amazing customer service. The owner, Zee, is very informative and charismatic. Has a lot of products to offer that are unique and also standards in the industry. If I'm ever in Thousand Oaks again and need to get any printing services done, I'm coming to OfficeLocale!

    I came here for a Live Scan appointment and due to my strange work hours, I chose this place…read morebecause they offer flexible hours. They're technically open "24 hours" and the owners states that you can call any time and he can meet you at the office. The primary office is a rental space but they offer other services such as passport renewal, notary, etc. When I first went I was grateful for the flexibility and Zee was very friendly. There were some difficulties getting good quality fingerprints and he submitted it saying that it should "be okay." A couple days later, I received a notification that my fingerprints had been rejected and I needed to return to the same site to get a repeat Live Scan done. I was in TO visiting family but I work a couple hours away, so I had to re-arrange my schedule to drive all the way back for a Live Scan appointment. When I had scheduled my first appointment, I had called about 1 week in advance and he requested that I call the day-of instead, preferably a couple hours before I could come in. So for my second appointment, I called the office the morning of and no answer. I called a couple more times, and still no answer. I finally got in touch with the operator (who I'm guessing works remotely) and at first she had no clue what I was talking about when I requested a Live Scan appointment and asked if I had called the correct number. She said she'd leave a message and give me a call back shortly. She didn't get back to me so I called again 1-hour later. She had no clue who I was even though I had just gotten off the phone with her, and we had to start over again. She then told me Zee was "not online" and would try to get my message to him and give me a call back. Again, no call back. I called her a third time- she still didn't know who I was and we had to repeat the whole song and dance. I decided to just show up to the office to see if anyone was there, but of course it was locked. The next day, I tried calling a couple times and no one answered. I ended up having to chat with the business through Google just to find out Zee was out of town and that he would get back to me. He gave me a call back the following day stating he was out of town with no service. While this isn't entirely his fault, I was really frustrated by the lack of communication and even more frustrated because I was specifically told not to call too far in advance (which would've prevented this whole fiasco). He is very friendly and I think the services are convenient... until they're not... but I was also uncomfortable because he sort of pressures every customer to leave a 5-star review on platforms such as Yelp and Google. Based on the other reviews customers have left, I'm sure my experience was an exception to the norm but next time I will try to find a place that is more consistent and reliable.
