Fried green tomatoes (note we ate 2 before the photo was taken)

We started off with cocktails and wine. The bread was amazing and asked for a second round. Appetizer was a fried green tomato and a wedge salad. For dinner we had bison steak and a ribeye. The sides were amazing we got four different once's and they are large enough to share. Lobster mac & cheese, brussels sprouts, potatoes, and street corn! Shout out to are amazing waiter and bartender - Stewart!

    Medallions! And Brussel Sprouts... yum

This place was great, service was excellent and loved the food!! A little pricey but worth it!!

Nice ambiance and good variety on the menu. Steaks are a bit pricey and could have been more tender but a nice place to have a date night.

I had the filet, and it melted in my mouth. The food was delicious, but the service was what made this place over the top! We will be back!

First time eating here and they had no steak, no baked potatoes. I won't be back and we got to the restaurant at 4:45 pm

This is my second time here. Menu varies throughout the year and always very interesting items. My…read moreonly complaint is the serving sizes. For example, I love the meatball over polenta appetizer but there is such a small amount of polenta. And for the price, it would be nice to be have a little more pasta served with the entrees. I've never gotten a doggie bag here because the portions are small and after spending over $100 for 2, it would be nice to have a little bit of leftovers. That said, food is delicious and obviously all homemade. Cocktail selection is very unique, hip and good. Service is excellent and the servers really know their stuff! Service

We also tried the mussels, mushroom fettuccine and a rabbit dish that I'm totally forgetting the name of. The rabbit dish was amazing but it had too much salt. The mushroom fettuccine on the other hand was lacking something, it didn't have that umami flavor to it. However, both were really good selections and you could tell that the pasta was handmade. As for the mussels they were good, but I probably wouldn't order them again. Our server was wonderful and the inside of Ilda is super cute! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends, but I think you need to make a reservation in advance. Also - give yourself some time to find parking ahead of time - they don't have a designated lot.

My friend got the house salad, salmon and shrimp, mash potatoes, and classic cheesecake. My filet and Galicia mash potatoes were delicious! The shrimp lacked flavor. The reason I didn't write a review after the first visit was because I needed to give them a second chance. The first visit was not good. All I will say about it is thank goodness they removed the lobster bisque from the menu. And word of advice about most restaurants, you don't want to be one of the last tables before closing. No one wants to be there! Ok, back to January 2026! We had 8:15 reservations. We stopped by to see if we could be seated earlier and they said they had nothing available. Ummmmm, there was like 20-30 tables open! They just didn't have the servers. So we waited and got Kyle, who again was awesome. Because of something wrong with my throat, I could only order soft food. So I ordered the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli and Au Gratin potatoes. The ravioli was a table win for all of us! Best bite of the night. The potatoes were not a winner. Au gratin potatoes are supposed to be in a flavorful cheesy cream sauce. We got a bowl of diced white potatoes with melted cheese on top. No seasoning. No sauce. I was looking for soft food, not flavorless! It was not a good look for a steak house. Speaking of steak, JD did enjoy his steak both visits, so they've got that very important part going for them. The restaurant is huge. I saw a sign out front that its capacity is 600+. But with their staffing issues, at least they realize not to seat a full restaurant. They even had signs up that To-Go orders were not allowed the Friday night we were there. Would I eat here again, yes. Is it a must have when at the casino? Not for me.

I would never come here if I was in a hurry, but if you have 2+ hours to eat and want good food in a storied place with staff who will treat you like friends, you're going to love the Rampant Lion. NOTES: -In rural TN, it should not surprise you, but be aware that they have Trump displays in the restaurant. -The restrooms are single stall and accessed from outdoor. They're indoor restrooms - just the door to access them is on the outside. (No porta potties) They're solidly clean - just make sure to pack clothing that works for the temperature outside because you might be dipping outside a few times. -Parking lot is small and gravel. Relatively easy to get in and out of though. -Amazing gin selection with staff that *clearly* knows their gins. -Adorable photos of the owners on slideshow of their trip to Europe on the wall. It's adorably and clearly a couple who was on a good vacation. We've had a good chunk of their menu at this point. Pretzels: Delicious beer chese AND delicious pretzels. Quite a bit of food with this too. Bread, Oil, & Vinegar: Wasn't super fond of this one. A ton of oil in a bowl made it hard to get the right oil-to-vinegar ratio. Chicken Pie: Deliciously breaded with super-tasty french fries too. Served piping hot, so it took a bit to be able to eat it without burning myself but a wait well-made. Reuben: Partner absolutely loved it and said the bread was the absolute perfect consistency. SO much meat in there too (though he said it could use a bit of extra dressing). Bubbles and Squeak: Delicious. Just delicious. Zero notes, you should eat it. Beanie Weenies: Home-made right in the restaurant! My favorite thing on the menu. Super savory, semi-healthy (beans...at least?), and served super warm. Comfort food at its finest. Menu in-restaurant was different than online one on a few things.

They have an insane number of whiskeys so my husband was all about that. The food was good.
