Medium gelato with chocolate, strawberry and cappuccino
Stuart O.

Ok, this is a small gelato and creperie in Cape May. The owner makes the gelato fresh daily. This is SUPER good gelato, like the gelato I've had in Italy. Skip the chain ice cream on the mall and walk down to Cione. I had strawberry, chocolate, and cappuccino. All were delicious. I also watched the owner make a crepe--again, she has a real crepe griddle and it looked great!

Absolutely amazing! I'm a huge chocolate and hazelnut gelato fan. Never before have I had chocolate sorbet at a gelato shop, and it was unbelievably creamy...and a deep dark rich chocolate. NOT what I expected, but MORE than pleasantly surprised. Excellent service. Highly recommend!!

My first time here and the gelato is absolutely awesome. New flavors every time we have gone and it's just sooo delicious and creamy. Definitely is a great hidden gem.

This place is great! It is a small Italian gelato shop in Cape May. It is a great alternative to ice cream, not only is it tastier, but it is more healthy. My family and I have been there a few times and we have never been disappointed. They have a good assortment of flavors, my favorite is the strawberry! You can taste the freshness of the fruit in each bite. I crave this treat and whenever I come down to Cape May I make it a point to get it! A little tip, it is cash only and for a small it is $3.50 and goes up from there.

14 different flavors that night we were there.

Small little gelato house in a group of stores. When we visited they had 14 different flavors. I settled for a small lemon and a peanut butter fudge milkshake. The lemon was definitely of true Italian consistency. And the peanut butter milkshake was nice. It wasn't too strong or over bearing. Their prices were about average for the area. Any less and I could see wouldn't make money and any more people wouldn't buy.

First time I didn't finish ice cream. It's not gelato but regular ice cream... Save the calories for elsewhere.

It is by far the best! Reasonably priced and healthy too. Doesn't get any better than that.

Creamy, all natural, and having less fat than ice cream, you'll probably end up coming here again and again.

Cute ice cream shop in Washington Street Mall in Cape May! I'll be honest I can't remember exactly…read morewhat the flavor was but I think it was salted caramel pretzel lol! Very good. You can try some samples while you're there too.

I had Fine Fellows Creamery bookmarked for a few years now, well before I ever made any plans to…read morevisit Cape May. However, I always knew I would be back, and when I did I wanted to check this place out. I love ice cream, and while they can be a dime-a-dozen on the Jersey Shore, FFC stood out with their great Yelp reviews and the high visibility of its owners across social media. I had finished dinner and was looking for dessert, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to stop in for some ice cream. FFC is located on Beach Ave, right in the heart of one of the main drags in Cape May (also, conveniently around the corner from where I was staying). The decor is super fun - the entire space is decked out in Pride decor, with colorful ice cream aesthetics on the walls and an overall upbeat vibe. FFC serves Bassetts Ice Cream, I'm not familiar with the brand but apparently their cream content is higher than average so how bad can that be? They have several flavors to choose from, as well as a number of toppings, sundae combinations, and milkshakes. I decided to go with Moose Tracks in a cone - I was able to choose the number of scoops I wanted (I got two), as well as the type of cone I wanted. The ice cream was really good - super creamy with lots of peanut butter cups and fudge; the moose were stampeding. Service was also great - I was taken care of promptly and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Overall, this was a yes - with the plethora of ice cream spots in the area, FFC stands out by serving high quality product in a fun and inviting atmosphere. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Cape May.
