I had them digitize 11 Hi-8 tapes for me. I also bought a 32gb flash drive from them for the files for 20 bucks. They just made .mp4s for me. I guess I could have asked for preservation files, but that seemed like overkill. Easy to communicate with. I personally just dropped off and picked up my tapes since I live in STL, but you could ship your media. I was told 3 week turn around, but they were finished in 2. i contacted Cintrex to get 1 vhs tape transferred to digital and emailed back to me. they wanted to charge $25 for the one way shipping (i didn't need return shipping), in addition to the $25 fee for the transfer, so $50 total. well that is twice what all other companies charge for this. one way shipping is $25. seriously? i could have mailed it to them myself for $3.00. what a joke. i will find another company and pay them $25 with no shipping fee. thanks anyways read more
