Gifts for all types of occasions - housewarming, bride, baby, yourself! They actually have a large selection for clothes, outside of typical personalization or gifts. I was pleasantly surprised with the large selection! I worked with Margy who was super patient and helpful with all my questions and ideas for personalization. She helped me find the correct item, size, use the dressing room, etc. She went above and beyond in terms of customer service! The wait time was 5 business days to personalize which is very reasonable. I got the call my items were ready on the 3rd business day. I imagine the wait time might vary! They are willing to personalize outside items if they can. I was disappointed but understood that stuffed animals I brought could not be personalized because they were not flat. Similarly, the tricky thing is knowing what can be personalized and how as a customer. Some things are clear or there's samples but lots of items especially for stuffed animals, I wasn't sure. Items turned out as expected and perfectly! They also offer free gift wrap which was nicely done. Convenient location for me as well. I'm excited to come back for future gift needs - and for things for myself :)

I brought in a sweatshirt to be embroidered. I thought it was unnecessarily expensive. Some shops in the mall can do custom embroidery in an hour for about half the price but I try to support local businesses. Then when I picked up my item I felt like the embroidery looked awkward. Maybe I just picked a bad font but it is a cursive and it didn't flow. I'd be willing to give the shop another chance but I'm hesitant to recommend the embroidery. If you're just looking for gift ideas this place is very fun.

Today I had a very disappointing experience @ The Woke Brand inside the Saint Louis Galleria…read more I walked into the store to look at patches because my daughter was recently hired to create a custom 314 Day performance outfit for a rapper. I was on FaceTime with the client showing them the patches available in the store. While I was browsing, the fat head lady behind the counter told me to take pictures of the patches I was interested in and bring them to the counter for pricing. When I came up to ask about the price of one of the patches (a rice box patch), she asked if I had taken a picture. I told her I thought I had but realized it didn't take while I was on FaceTime. I then asked, " you have more than 1 patch thats a box of rice?" She stated "possibly!" She then asked what was wrong with me. I told her I was irritated and simply being honest that I'm human and having a moment. Instead of continuing the conversation or helping me, she told me my energy was bothering her and refused to serve me. She stated that again when I advised her she still diet answer my two simple questions. I left the store feeling disrespected and shocked that I was denied service for simply expressing that I was irritated. I was in the store trying to support a Black-owned business and help an artist prepare for a 314 Day performance. My u you would think with a name like Woke Brand one would know the power in being able to read energies if your chakras are alined. I came in that store happy and excited and with a pure heart so the only energy She should have read was the one that tells her to mind her business she pulled up a stool and sat diwn to ask me that. Like huh. I gave her an answer twi e calmy with no disrespect intended because she actually had nothing to do with why I was over stimulated. Shit my dog couldve just died‍. I regularly support and promote Black brands, so this experience was very disappointing. Businesses should treat customers with respect and professionalism even if someone seems to be having an off moment. I really couldn't adjust fast enough for her and actually did the best I could do at the moment. I will be filing complaints with the proper consumer and business agencies because no customer should be refused service for something like this. I'm sharing this so people know what kind of treatment I experienced today. You never know who you are talking to and who people know. It saddens me to have to go this route especially with a brand I myself was promoting free but you don't get to cause me pain and suffering and not have any consequences.

To add fuel to the fire the "fake 50%" off sale was a scam! Drove all the way from Illinois to be disrespected. Was a repeat customer no longer will be!

For the…read morepast seven years, Ink Spot has printed many meaningful items for my family -- from my wedding invitations to my children's birth announcements and birthday party invitations -- in addition to larger orders I've placed through the department where I work. Unfortunately, today that relationship ended over a $1.61 charge for envelopes. After being misquoted for a set of double-sided birthday party invitations and requesting matching envelopes, I received 14 invitations but only 7 envelopes. When I emailed to share that the envelope count seemed short, I was told not to worry and that additional envelopes would be set aside for me. When I returned to the store to pick them up, I was asked to pay $1.61 for the envelopes. I explained that I hadn't brought money because I didn't expect to need to pay for something that appeared to be part of correcting the order. The situation was reviewed, but the interaction was handled with a less-than-helpful attitude. Ultimately, I chose to walk away rather than continue the conversation over $1.61 -- because to me, it represented something larger. Over the years I have referred friends, family, and colleagues to Ink Spot, and I've valued supporting a local business. Situations like this are rarely about the dollar amount; they're about customer care and recognizing when a miscommunication has occurred. With that in mind, I'll be taking my business to HiTec moving forward, and I've shared my experience with those I've previously recommended. I share this feedback sincerely and in the hope that it helps reinforce how meaningful thoughtful customer service can be to long-time customers.
