I have an older I phone and am older myself!! My phone won't forward any attachments to the designer or the staff to fax documents, print, e mail documents, etc.... UPS Store couldn't help me here or in another state. The employees immediately air dropped my info to themselves and then finished the project, whatever it was.... It's been a long time since I've needed any sort of copy service and I always wondered about this place, so in my time of need I came here. I just needed quality printing for a design I had created from a template I had purchased off of Etsy. They were funeral memorial cards, so also emotionally charged... I wasn't at all sure how to do this, so I brought in my laptop that had the design on it. They were really helpful. One of their designers came over and we opened the file. He made sure everything was ok to get the product I wanted. To top it off, my small job would be done by the end of the day for way less than I expected. I needed a quick turnaround on a design for some invitations and the invitations themselves. Desk staff introduced me to a designer, Ally, who talked to me about what I was looking for. She was great. She emailed me a (perfect) design for approval and with my ok, Hi-Tec had my order ready in under 24 hours from when I first came in. So great. The desk staff and Ally were friendly, professional and talented, and met my not altogether reasonable needs. Oh & I almost forgot, very reasonably priced, as well. Absolutely wonderful customer service. I recently needed some inserts printed, so I called Hi-Tec for some formatting advice. They told me everything I needed to know, and to come in as soon as I was ready to print. Parking here was quite easy, and I walked in and explained what I needed. They directed me over to someone who could help me with printing, and I stood right there with him at his computer as he got the file ready to print. It cut down on a lot of back-and-forth since I was standing there with him, watching him format it all. It was ready in a heartbeat, and ten minutes later everything was printed and cut. You can tell that everyone here is a true professional and extremely knowledgable. The price was hard to beat, as well, and I don't know why I haven't been utilizing Hi-Tec all of my life. Recently had Hi Tec Copy Center on Big Bend put some holiday art on to cards for me. They did a fabulous and very fast job.

If you're looking to print a sewing pattern here, I'd think again. I was chastised for not specifying what size I'd like the sewing instructions to be, so they assumed and printed the pattern AND the instructions on blueprint-sized paper. When the worker helping me got her supervisor, I was told that it was my fault that I didn't specify the size to print the instructions. This was my first time printing anything, how is this my fault when it's their expertise? Do their workers not look at the files beforehand if there's no size specification? There's only an option to choose the size of ONE file, not multiple. HiTec knocked $50 off my order for a grand total of $34 for a simple sewing pattern... something that should've been much cheaper and without gaslighting. read more

I walked in with three 3 digital music scores that needed to be emailed, printed and bound. The employees there were very helpful in helping me choose the correct paper and how it should be bound together. I was expecting it to be ready the following day, but they were able to do it in about 45 minutes. Great job! I'd highly recommend this place. read more

I'm giving them 5 stars for being a locally owned print shop with great service. I needed a few things printed off here and used their online interface to send my work to them and to pay at the same time. It was simple and the cost for printing full color sheets is in line or cheaper than the bigger, chain print shops in town. This place has a nice parking lot available. It is located next to dominos and Williams pharmacy. I will keep this place in mind the next time I have printing needs. read more

I have done business with Hi Tec for nearly five years. I regularly gave posters for comedy shows printed by them. Hi Tec not only does their business inexpensively, but also quickly and EXTREMELY professionally: on numerous occasions the designers have helped with correcting spelling and giving awesome suggestions on how to make my posters look better. I went to hi/tec at 12 o'clock today , right after they opened, asked the front desk lady who was (found out later )the manager if they could print my thesis. She said they are short staff and it will be a $25 rush fee. Other than that it won't be ready till Tuesday. I tried to ask her more question but she would give me short answers,she was rude and inpatient. Then couple hours later 2 of my friends tells me that they went to the same place and they got their thesis printed and bind in front of them. Of course I called the place and she picked up I asked her how is it that she had time for my friends and not me? She responded that she was misunderstood and also my friends asked for book binding. I had my friend next to me so I asked if that was the case, he told me no they also asked for their thesis to get bind and printed That means this manager was lying to me. She didn't even offered me to print my thesis for tomorrow. She kept saying she was misunderstood. I am really sorry that this person is in charge of hi/tech If she is not capable of answering a simplest question I don't know how she is handling other stuff . It's just so sad to see people so lazy and bad at their job in charge of a great place like hi/tec I'm going back there tomorrow and I'm going to talk to other managers. I'm just really annoyed that I chose this place based on their good rating , I went there to support a local business and tried to be there first thing after they were open but just because some manager didn't know her job I was ignored and refused to to be helped. read more

I've had to get a few readers from WashU at this copy center location. I guess for the price (~$50 for a 350 page reader), it's a rather good deal, but I cringe at the thought of shelling out that much money again for a collection of photocopies. They have a really nice bind to them that's pretty durable and they put a thicker cover on them. Last time I went, I had to wait awhile, but ultimately got the reader that I needed. It seemed like they probably could have used a few more staffers helping walk-in folks because most people seemed preoccupied with projects they were working on. Hi-Tec also provides copy services for different people and companies. It seems like overall, they know what they are doing. And it's always nice not to have to go to a chain. read more

I had scanned a copy of my driver's license to have with me when I exercise. I wanted it laminated and went to Hi-Tec. The nice lady neatly trimmed my scan to size, laminated it and handed it back. It looked great. Charge 81¢. Can't beat that! read more

hi tech was a lifesaver when i was wedding planning and needing a place to print our place cards and programs. nick helped us. he was terrific. he even fixed our template (without being asked) to make sure everything was aligned properly. we printed on perforated paper that had indentations and had already gotten stuck in our printer. they had no problem at hi tech getting everything done quickly and affordably. you can bring in your own paper or they have a selection of paper for purchase. they can even 3D print or print signs and posters. i definitely recommend hi tech and will be back for future paper projects. read more

Absolutely useless service if you're doing anything that requires precision or color accuracy - got a project printed here and the colors are so off that I just threw the final product away. The same color appears multiple times in the book and it changes throughout the book as well as on the same page - maybe due to a lack of ink? The image and color quality I printed myself in mockups was better than anything they could offer. They also printed it at the wrong page size. The clear disregard of craft was troubling for a company that specializes in printing. I want to support local businesses; but not useless ones. read more

Whenever I need to get copies for different publishing projects or for other reasons like copies of letters to my lawyer or family letters to and from different family members, I always use Hi-Tec Copy Center. Their customer service is always good, friendly and their work is always efficiently done. Different people have waited on me at different times, but they are consistently nice and helpful with whatever project that I have when I need copies. Some of their prices are competitive with the other copy places, but some are rather pricey; however, because this is a locally owned and operated store, that is a huge advantage. They don't have the "I don't care" attitude that the chain copy places have, and for that, I will always come to Hi-Tec Copy Center before I go elsewhere. read more

I just picked up my order from Hi-Tec Copy Center, They did a fabulous job. This was a complicated job. They had to shrink some pages and print others double-sided though they were given all single-sided input. They then assembled all the pages in order. After I dropped off the job, I was very worried about whether it would come out as I wanted. I am delighted to say they got it 100% right. Most importantly, the quality of their color reproduction was fantastic. This was the third place we had copies made, and they were the best at retaining the vibrancy and accuracy of the color. Hi-Tec is my go-to for any printing or copying needs. I used to always go to a slightly more conveniently located big chain copy place. But Hi-tec was between my job and home and I decided to give them a go a couple years ago. I have always received excellent service, very knowledgable and crazy helpful staff, and excellent products. What surprised me most was that their prices are very competitive, if not better, than the big chain I had previously frequented. I am surprised to see so many good reviews. I walked at 2:40 this afternoon and asked if I could get some photos printed on heavy paper stock. The employee said yes and showed me some samples of paper. He said there were only two designers in the center and it would be a few minutes until someone was free. At 3:20 I inquired of the person who initially helped me if it would be better if I came back tomorrow. He said as soon as "Justin" got off the phone, he could help me. In a couple of minutes, "Justin" hung up from his call and the employee told him "a walk-in was waiting to talk to him". It appeared a few words were exchanged so I just said forget it and walked out. No one even was interested in salvaging the situation and while I know I won't be back, I have to say that the few times I have used their services, it was like pulling hens teeth to get someone to come to the front desk. Aloofness and attitude are a couple words that come to mind. I know you do good work, Hi-Tech, but your customer service stinks. read more
