Bridget and Cat at the Done Dept are my heroes! I created a custom invitation for my friend's baby shower and ordered through an online printing company. It took 2 weeks to deliver and then it was someone else's wedding invitations! I was pissed off and in need of a quick reprint. I got on Yelp and found the Done Dept, went to their website and emailed Cat on Sun night. Cat responded and copied Bridget first thing Mon morning. Bridget got me a price quote quickly and an emailed online payment link and had my invitations and envelopes printed that same afternoon. I was able to pick up my prints 18 hours after I sent my first email! The prints are high quality without printing errors. One of the nicest touches was my name written in beautiful calligraphy on the bag. I will be doing all future printing locally snd at the Done Dept! read more

I'm almost 70yo, been in business for myself since I was 18, and overall my experience at the Done Dept was one of the most pleasant encounters I can ever recall - business or otherwise - WHAT A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! The Done Dept had great ratings when I searched for a place to get my copies made so I gave them a call and immediately found out why. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, listened to and understood my concerns and issues and were extremely accomodating. I drove almost 100 miles each way to get there and it was worth every inch of the trip! They scanned and also made 4 copies each of 20 pages of 24' x 36" pencil on onion-skin paper engineering/blueprint drawings for me. I had been searching in Southern Illinois for months and the least expensive place I found wanted several times as much for a SINGLE set of copies and scanning as the Done Dept did all this for. In addition, the Done Dept did all this for me in less than an hour and a half while the other places I had talked to wanted me to drop them off and leave them with them for anywhere from 2-3 days to over a week. I didn't want to risk leaving them anywhere so the speed the Done Dept did them for me with was absolutely wonderful. These are very valuable original drawings of blueprints required to build a of a very complicated scale model steam engine and accompanying sawmill and without them the molds and casting sets I make would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to machine, fabricate or assemble. If they were ever lost as a result of fire or flood or whatever, they would be extremely expensive and time-consuming to duplicate, if it would be possible at all. Their excellent work has given me a lot of peace of mind since I now have scanned copies on a drive I can put in a safe place and superb backup copies of the originals on paper. I am also very excited that now I will be able to get affordable copies of them made in the future for others interested in building one of these projects. The other places wanted such an exhorbitant price that this was not possible - but the Done Dept has now eliminated that problem! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE DONE DEPARTMENT HIGHLY ENOUGH! I used the Done Dept for my wedding invitations, welcome cards, place cards, wedding ceremony, a giant wedding sign, etc. Basically, they were my wedding stationary providers! Jocelyn did an excellent job with communication. She was speeding with emails and to return phone calls. Once all my proofs were approved, the print shop was extremely quick printing. I was so pleased with how everything turned out! Everyone raved about our wedding invitations. We went with a purple envelope (which was a bit more expensive but totally worth it)! After receiving my business cards, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that you'll get what you pay for and more from this company. My order was tiny (the minimum amount they offer) but Jodi still treated me like my business was important to her. After waiting 20 minutes for some numnutz at Kinkos to finally help me with a large format BW print, he tried to charge a "sizing fee" on top of the regular fee for typing in a print percentage in the print dialog box. This is my new go-to place for anything I need ever. Greg gets things done. Period. And he's incredibly positive and excited about the project you bring in. My fiance and I created our own wedding invitations with some design tools. We found the paper and envelopes, but had a hard time finding someone to mail merge our invite list onto the envelopes. Finally, I found three vendors, the Done Department being the last. Greg was the only one to get me a quote within a week - his was sent that evening, and his price was literally one half and one third of the other vendors. He was supportive of our project, gave advice, and positively dealt with our last minute changes. Even though we had several amateur mistakes, (including HIM catching spelling errors in our address list), Greg knocked out our project within two days of getting everything, and it looks AMAZING! I can't thank Greg enough. Without him, the invitations would have blown past our budget, been done a month late, and several sent to the wrong place. To put it lightly, Greg is the greatest! I have to start by saying I am pretty particular when it comes to customer service and stellar experiences are getting harder and harder to come by. The Done Dept however, exceeded my expectations when it came to creating custom wedding invitations for me!
