Delicious, my family tried the old skool and Cookie Monster. We'll be back but we'd love to see a menu without seed oils.

Great cinnamon rolls and lots of frosting! Store was clean and I liked how you could smell fresh cinnamon rolls as you walked in!

The perfect amount if you want to split something and not be overloaded after. Chicken was so hot and fresh and the waffle was perfect. Clean environment, nice staff, and always so good.

I finally tried Mess Waffles in College Station after hearing so much about it, and overall I'd…read moregive it about a 7.5/10. I ordered the Upcluck and Away mac and cheese, plus a snack portion of the chicken and waffles with the maple aioli sauce. The food was definitely the highlight. The mac and cheese was really good, and that maple aioli sauce on the chicken and waffles was so good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the portions were decent for what I ordered. I also got the banana brûlée matcha. It was good, but the matcha itself didn't taste ceremonial grade. It had a slightly chalky texture that took away from it a bit. One downside was the wait. I stood in line for about 30 minutes, which was longer than expected. Overall, the food hits, especially if you're craving something savory and indulgent, but the wait and the drink quality keep it from being a higher rating for me. I'd still come back, just maybe at a less busy time, so not the weekends at all!

We had almost given up home on dining experiences in College Station but decided to take a friend's…read morerecommendation and check this place out and we were so glad that we did. From the minute we walked into the place, until we left, service was friendly, attentive, and top notch. We came in without at reservation but had no problem sitting at the bar. The vibe was great. While the service and ambience were great, the food was the star of the show. My husband and I often order appetizers for meals so this place was perfect for us. We had the bacon-wrapped dates, Spain on a plate charcuterie, the ribeye pinchos, and the special stuffed pepitos. Every morsel was delectable and you could tell that a great deal of though was put into ensuring that each bite was special. This will definitely be a place we seek out on our next trip to Aggieland.

The girl asked for a card on file for parties 9 or larger(that was no big deal) it was after that she told me 9 will not be sat comfortably "it will be a tight squeeze". Why would I reserve a part of 9 & put my card on file to sit uncomfortably. I was very surprised how un-accommodating it was. I ended up canceling & reserving elsewhere we can sit comfortably. It's not worth showing up & someone is sat on an awkward corner or we are smooshed together at a table. It was for my bachelorette, so that's their loss!

Our time at Urban Table was marked with highs and lows leaving me with mixed feelings…read more Pros: -CocoCrunch shrimp were good, perfectly fried, and the shrimp were a wonderful texture. The sauce they compared with was also delicious -Brussels sprouts were crispy and had a nice char -our waitress was the only person on the floor while simultaneously managing the bar. She was trying her best to keep everything afloat during lunch and was very sweet. Neutrals: -the margarita I ordered with mezcal was fine. It tasted like it had a premade sweet and sour mix. -the chicken Parmesan sandwich my husband got was nothing to write home about but was exactly as described. His sweet potato fries were also generically good. Cons: -the restaurant didn't appear to be too clean. The floor was a bit dingy and there was visible food debris on it. -I was served water in a glass where the rim had a brown syrup like liquid on the rim. Not sure if that was from a past drink or perhaps soda syrup? -the basil in my husband's drink was very unappealing. I know basil can be a finicky herb, but putting it on display in his cocktail was off putting. He removed it immediately. -having only one staff member tending to lunch seemed odd. Considering the building is two stories, I believe she was having to leave to potentially go downstairs to retrieve food. There were multiple times no one was upstairs. We felt uncomfortable asking for anything because we didn't want to overwhelm someone just trying to keep their head above water. Overall, I wish the best for the establishment.

So the actual restaurant area is pretty small with limited seating. The inside was quaint and clean. Service was on-time and friendly. I got the give a dog a bone drink which is a sazerac that had dominant flavors in citrus so it wasn't too bitter. Started off the meal splitting a side Cobb salad which had candied bacon, deviled egg and avocado with buttermilk dressing. Our 2 main were the chicken fried steak and the black truffle sacchetti pasta. The CFS was good, well-seasoned and had good breading. But the size was a lot smaller than expected. Definitely not a shareable dish. Came with typical green beans and mashed potatoes. The black truffle sacchetti pasta was great! Sacchetti pasta is cheese stuffed pasta. The black truffle wasn't overwhelming, yet noticeable. And came with decent amount of grilled chicken. Very creamy and cheesy dish- this was shareable. Overall a great meal and we left stuffed.
