But the real star here is the bakery -- it's absolutely out of this world. My personal favorite is the chocolate rum ball -- rich, moist, and perfectly balanced. The mini chocolate cannoli are incredible, with creamy filling and a crisp shell. The cannoli cookie is also delicious and unique. We took some pastries home, and even after being left overnight in the refrigerator, they were still fresh and tasted amazing the next day. We heard they also have another location in Pembroke Pines, which we're excited to try next. If it's anything like the Sunrise store, we know it'll be fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian pastries and market goodies!

It did not disappoint. The manager who handles the bakery was also very accommodating. He made sure that the cake is ready. My boyfriend and I visited today on New Years Eve since we will be making our own pasta for the new year. It was busy since there were a lot of catering orders but it was so organized. The team was very efficient. We ordered two subs from the deli, one is a chicken parm and the other is a meatball sub. It was really yummy. We sat at their dinning area that is super clean. Everyone there was so helpful. We will for sure visit again!

The space feels warm and lived‑in, and there's a steady flow of regulars who clearly treat it as part of their routine. That alone says a lot. The pastries are the first thing that catch your eye--rows of croissants, cookies, and cakes that look like they were made by someone who actually cares about the details.

I also tried one of their empanadas, which was delicious and packed with flavor. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed! The real star here, though, is the pastries. I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!

I had the French toast muffin and it was delightful. I skipped using the fork they gave me and devoured it. They do have a wide variety of coffee flavors as well as signature and seasonal coffees/lattes they seem to have on rotation. The pistachio iced coffee I decided to go with and what I really like is the option to add condensed milk which you don't hear very often and really reminds me of home overseas. The staff was great in making recommendations, extremely pleasant throughout the buying process and even there after when I was leaving. I'll definitely go back especially to their other pastries!

The Wild Mug Coffee Bar…read more It was a pleasant surprise and my fiancee and I really enjoyed the time we spent at this cafe. Today, we ordered the Iced Caramel Macchiato, Iced Cinnamon Roll Latte, Spicy Beef Empanada, and their Key lime Pie. The coffees were good, but in my opinion, their pastries and snacks tasted better and left a bigger impression on me. The coffee flavors, I felt like I can find them elsewhere but the key lime pie was nice- just sweet enough and right level of tartness. The spicy beef empanada was nice too or maybe I was just hungry. You make sure to try it and let me know if it was really good or no. They offer indoor and outdoor seating but are both limited so get there at the right time or be ready for Togo. The interior is cleanly decorated and they seem to have put in a lot of time hand writing out the special menu and seasonal items. Yes I would recommend this place to others. Yes I would definitely visit the Wild Mug Coffee Bar again.

I tried the Chicken Avocado BLT ($11) and a beef empanada ($4.25)--both very tasty. They also offer a tempting selection of traditional Colombian and classic sweets. For takeout, I got French bread ($2.55 for four) and cheese bread ($7.50). The French bread was a bit dense, better at Brazilian bakeries but the cheese bread was excellent--rich, cheesy, and worth the overprice. Overall, a great spot, especially for weekends when you don't feel like cooking.

It is large enough for a catered work party, if needed, and very clean. The menu is available at the counter, as well as on the wall behind the counter. Speaking of behind the counter, friendly faces are there too. Ordering was not only easy, but had a brief turnaround time. Sancocho de Costilla and Cuban sandwich/Pernil sandwich were our choices. The beef in the soup was tender; the sandwich was tasty. Neither required additional seasoning! But there is far more to explore than plates, soups, and sandwiches. Don Pan [pan is Spanish for bread] is also a bakery. It seems you must arrive early for a larger selection of items. By the time we arrived, the bakery stock clearly had taken a hit, which means popularity. If you want chain restaurant Latin food for very affordable prices, Don Pan is the place. Your stomach and purse/wallet will be thank you!

My Go-To Spot for Good Vibes & Great Coffee!…read more Ella Cafe is hands down my favorite place to be! Today, I had some time between appointments and decided to finally sit down, relax, and grab something to eat along with my coffee fix. I ordered a croissant and a cafe con leche. Even though it was busy around midday, I was able to find a cozy table. My light meal was brought out to me, and I enjoyed every bite of the perfectly made croissant while sipping on my requested extra hot coffee. As people came and went, I found myself admiring the decor and the friendliness of the staff. The whole place feels cozy, hip, and welcoming. Before leaving, I decided I wasn't done yet and ordered a cortada (hopefully I'm spelling that right). I waited by the counter, but the lady kindly told me she would bring it to my table, even though I didn't mind waiting. It was divine as always. Even the unique little glass cup with its interesting handle stood out to me, and yes, once again, the coffee was perfectly extra hot just the way I like it. I truly enjoyed my alone time there. It can get a little noisy, but honestly, once you settle into your own little zone, you barely notice. I'm off for the week, so I'll probably end up back here again in a couple of days since I'll be in the area. All in all, Ella Cafe is a must try coffee shop experience. Great service, great coffee, delicious food, and an inviting atmosphere. I've also had their salads and sandwiches in the past, and they never disappoint.
